Taehyung was getting frustrated.He started feeling like everything he needed was slipping through his fingers and he couldn't do anything except watching it silently.He was going crazy with the questions in his brain.It was suffocating him...

It's been almost three months since Jungkook turned 21.In the span of just eighty six days, Jungkook showed a completely different version of himself to the elder male.The younger would avoid him as much as he could, he would talk back even when there's no need to do so, he wouldn't want to stay near the elder,he would find Taehyung wrong almost all the times...hell, he was acting as if he suddenly lost all his interest in their relationship !

At first, Taehyung didn't take it that seriously thinking Jungkook might have been going through some stress.He noticed the boy's gloomy aura after he came back from the birthday party.He was sure something must've happened there.He wanted Jungkook to initiate the conversation of that topic.It's always like that.They always share their worries with each other just like they share their good times!

But this time, things have gone too far.From the past two weeks, Jungkook didn't even let Taehyung peck him.In fact, Jungkook slowly started distancing himself from Taehyung and he could feel it.To say, Taehyung was worried would be an understatement.He was scared.He couldn't remember anything he did which could make the younger that upset.

Taehyung remembered how they made love only few times after Jungkook's birthday.All those times, Jungkook seemed eager.Taehyung couldn't exactly point out what was different but surely, something has changed in the younger.

The last time they made love which was almost twenty five days ago, Taehyung actually got angry at how eager but also emotionless Jungkook looked.That day, they had a huge argument which led Taehyung to go really rough on the younger.He could still remember how Jungkook cried hard after he thought that Taehyung was asleep.Taehyung himself cried to sleep that night.He didn't dare to make any sound though.He didn't want the younger to see him that broken.

Taehyung wondered if he hurt Jungkook that night because of which the younger is keeping distance between them.He wanted to apologize to the boy, he was ready to beg on his knees for forgiveness.He has been trying to talk to Jungkook from the next day of that night but the younger never let him talk.He even started going to the Jeon Mansion frequently these days.

But it was enough.Taehyung was on the verge of losing himself along with losing the younger.He didn't like how things were going.So he came back early today.He wants to talk to Jungkook at any cost.He deserves to know what made the younger change just like that !

Jungkook sat on the passenger seat of the car, looking outside in silence.At the moment, he looked like an emotionless person.He looked like anything but alive.He felt the heavy feeling on his chest again, the feeling he has gotten familiar with in the last three months !

It was not easy.Nothing was easy.Jungkook hated himself for treating Taehyung like shit from the last one month.He could see how he was hurting Taehyung constantly.The elder looked so clueless, as if he was a deer caught in the headlights.Jungkook couldn't see that look on Taehyung's face anymore which is why he started going to his house frequently these days.

But it made him feel only worse.He doesn't know know why he has been vomiting a lot from the past two weeks.He also feels dizzy at times.Jungkook could only blame it to his loss of appetite and sleepless nights.Without Taehyung, he was nothing.He felt like he was dying....

It felt like his lifesaving medicine was just near but his hands were tied so that he couldn't take it on time !

"Hey, you ok?" Nick's deep voice snapped Jungkook out of his thoughts.The boy was driving the car but Jungkook's silence bothered him which is why he decided to ask.

Currently, they were going to a five-star restaurant.Nick was really excited to take Jungkook on their first date.He fall in love with the younger at the very first sight.He so wanted to approach the beauty but he never got to talk to the younger.Thanks to the heavens that their parents set their marriage.Nick was happy, really happy to be honest.

It was their first date.It was their parents who set the date and place.Nick just picked up Jungkook from the Jeon mansion according to the plan.He was surprised when he saw Jungkook wearing just a black T-shirt and white trousers.It looked too casual to go on a date but still Jungkook managed to take his breath away.It's been a while since they drove away but the younger male have never uttered a single word to him.

It was concerning.So he just decided to ask the boy if anything was wrong.

Jungkook looked at the boy who was a year older than him with an unreadable gaze.He was contemplating on what he should do.It could be seen that Nick was happy with the outing.No, it was not a date for Jungkook.He literally forced himself to come with the elder.But he felt the need to say everything out loud that was bothering him to the boy.Jungkook didn't want to give someone false hope.

Taehyung was the most important person in Jungkook's life.He could do anything for him, he could go to any lengths to protect him.But he would never forget him, not until his last breath.And it would be wrong if he marry someone but keep someone else in his heart for the rest of his life.So, he just chose what he thought was right.

"Nick, I have to tell you something."

Taehyung sat in the dark inside the living room.It was almost 8pm but Jungkook was nowhere to be found.Taehyung was worried sick.He felt like something bad was going to happen.He was too anxious to even breath in peace.He rubbed his forehead in frustration, his eyes turned teary just by the mere thought of something going wrong with the younger.He shook his head as if it'll make the negative thoughts go away....

Soon, the door of the apartment got opened and just like he expected, Jungkook came inside.The boy didn't look at him even once but Taehyung ran to him and pulled him in his embrace as soon as he saw him.

"Oh God, baby ! I was so scared." Taehyung muttered, pushing his nose into the crook of his lover's neck.He greedily sniffed in the intoxicating scent of the boy which calmed him down almost immediately.

"I'm fine." Jungkook's dry answer brought Taehyung back to reality.His eyes saddened at the thought of Jungkook not hugging him back even for a split of a second.He pulled out only to look at the younger with a hurt look on his face.He hated the invisible wall between them!

"Baby, I'm sorry for that day...I-I sh-should n-not h-have d-done t-that...." Taehyung cried, his voice was filled with guilt.It was remorseful!

"Taehyung, let's not talk about the past.We both have our own futures to lead on.So just forget everything." Jungkook spoke up without any emotion lacing his voice, as if Taehyung's apology, Taehyung's tears weren't make his own heart bleed !

"B-But I'm still sorry...so, d-do you want to s-start new?If so....let's j-just do it....I-I'll work hard for both o-of us to live a happy life in the future.We should think about our future more...just like you said." Taehyung said, trying to smile even though Jungkook's lack of emotions scared him to the core !

"Taehyung, t-there is n-no us...I-I th-think we should t-take a b-break...." Jungkook finally said, stuttering out what he had been practicing in his mind for so long.The whole time he tried his best not to cry and look indifferent to the situation !

Silence engulfed the small area of the living room.Taehyung was out of words.He felt like the sky crumpled down right on his head.He never in his life saw it coming.....What happened?

He loves Jungkook.

There's no doubt, Jungkook loves him too.

Then why the boy was clearly pushing him away?

"Jungkook, if it's a joke, it's anything but funny yeah?" Taehyung let out shakily.

"I'm not joking, Taehyung.Things between us won't work out well.I know it....Umm...that's why....I said yes to the marriage my parents arranged." Jungkook said further,looking at Taehyung in the eyes.

It was the hardest moment of both the boy's life.

One felt like his everything was gone in the blink of an eye !

While the other felt like killing himself for hurting the one he loves the most intentionally!

"No...y-you d-didn't just s-say that..." Taehyung stepped back, horrified.He pulled his own hairs to make the things go away.He felt like he was hallucinating things....His Jungkook can never do such things......

"I did, Taehyung.I'm sorry.I should've informed you earlier about the marriage.It's in one month.So, I'm moving out....." Jungkook said.His face was completely blank, devoid of any emotions.But inside, Jungkook's heart was bleeding.With each teardrop that left Taehyung's eyes, his urge to kill himself increased.He was disgusted by his own self.He hated himself.....

Taehyung looked at Jungkook in disbelief.Tears continuously flew down his cheeks.He couldn't believe how emotionlessly Jungkook said everything.He felt hurt, he felt betrayed.But at the same time, he knew something was wrong.He could feel that something was wrong with Jungkook !

Jungkook observed Taehyung's change in expressions, trying not to wail loudly.It was too much for him.He couldn't keep up with his acting anymore.So he did one thing.He hurriedly went to their shared bedroom and started packing his stuffs without wasting a second.

Taehyung who was too broken to even talk, followed Jungkook with shaky steps.He tried to stop Jungkook a lot but nothing worked.His trying to talk, trying to plead, trying to burst out of anger....everything went in vain.It looked like Jungkook wouldn't care even if he dies of begging him to stay.Taehyung felt numb, he felt his lungs giving up on him.He couldn't move, he didn't have any energy to....

"Jungkook-ah, I know you are mad at me.I-I'm sorry.Y-you c-can take t-time if you want b-but please s-say, w-whatever you told m-me were wrong..." Taehyung managed to choke out in between his hiccups.

Jungkook was silent all the while.He turned towards the elder once he was done with the packing.He looked up at Taehyung with an unreadable expression on his face.Taehyung couldn't pinpoint if it was sadness or anger in his face.

"Taehyung, I c-can't stay...I-it w-will be g-good for b-both of u-us" The boy's voice visibly trembled but Taehyung was too hurt and confused to notice it....

Soon Jungkook took his bags and left towards the main door of the apartment....their apartment !

Jungkook put all the bags outside which were taken to the car by the driver he came with.The boy wanted to hug Taehyung for the last time, he wanted to feel his warmth against his body for the last time.....hell, he wanted to stay in Taehyung's protective embrace for an eternity.......but life was just so cruel to both of them....he couldn't do any of it.....he had to walk away from Taehyung's life in order to make the elder's career, his dreams to do something big bloom in the future.....

With a bitter smile on his lips, Jungkook looked at the apartment one last time.He immediately tuned towards the door when a devastated looking Taehyung walked out of the bedroom, not wanting Taehyung to see his inner turmoil.He hurriedly took steps towards the main door.He didn't have the courage to look at Taehyung's eyes after he broke the elder just like that...

"Jungkook, one month.......I'll wait for you to come back.If you don't come to me, I'll take the offer.You'll never see me again...not even when you want to....." Taehyung said loudly, stopping the younger with his voice.His voice was firm and determined, showing he meant each and every word that left his mouth.Taehyung played his last card, thinking the younger would just drop all the act and say everything which he hid from him during the last few months...

Jungkook closed his eyes and bit his bottom lip to not cry loudly.He really wanted to run to the elder and tell him why he was doing all these...but he couldn't.He knew what offer Taehyung was talking about.It was an internship offer in Europe.Taehyung got the offer almost five months ago but the boy thought of declining it, thinking of his life with Jungkook.

He had to make a decision within six months, right after his finals, if he wanted to leave or not.Taehyung didn't even bother to think.It was decided already.Taehyung couldn't think of leaving Jungkook just like Jungkook could never think of it !

"I won't come back.I know, what I should do.You should focus on your career more from now onwards, Taehyung.Bye."

Those were Jungkook's last words before he almost ran away from the apartment.He didn't look back even for once.

He wouldn't be able to face Taehyung....not now, not ever !
