《Obon Festival [Genos x Reader]》第五章

"Keep walking, past the tents. Try anything stupid and you'll regret it." The voice told you as they pushed the knife further into your skin. You started to sweat and your throat was hoarse.
"Across the bridge, go." In the corner of your eyes, you saw a figure rise out of the water, and then another one! Dozens were slowly climbing onto the bridge and walked along side you.
You caught your kidnapper's reflecting in the water. It appeared human but the closer you looked you ask that it wasn't quite right. A kabuki mask covered its face. Maybe that's how they got through the crowds of the festival without trouble. You heard mummers and mumbles amongst the crowd of monsters.
"Pretty, shes so pretty!" one said sickly.
"Yes, yes! She will make us so happy!" Another one agreed.
"Can we push her into the water now?"
"NO!! Wait for lanterns, wait, THEN WE PUSH HER IN."
You were so confused and scared, but your curiously was too much. "What do you want with me." You grumbled, trying to sound more annoyed and pissed off than scared and frightened.
"Can we tell her?" one monster asked.
"Can we? Blobmon?"
You captured sighed, this was apparently Blobmon. If you weren't so nervous you'd laugh at the name.
"Sure, but hold her first." He ordered. You got to see Blobmon. He appeared human like in the water reflection. But suddenly he started to lose form and oozed into a large pile of goo. The two other blob monster took your hands and their ooze started to creep up your arms. It was cool and gelatinous, but when you struggled to get free the jello held your arms like concrete.
Blobmon no longer wore the kabuki mask. His appearance reminded you of the Pokemon, Grimer.

Captured by a real life pokemon, great. You thought.
"I! Am king Blobmon! I was once a human like you, but many Obon Festivals ago I morphed into this-" he said motioning to his body "-through my own anger and hatred. I was stood up by my date. She told me I was too gross for her to be with. I couldn't live with myself so I threw myself off this bridge and into this lake hoping to die but I came out like this. Many more men have joined me, we've all been stood up. But we have grown lonely and we want ourselves a woman." All the other monsters around shook their head, agreeing with their blob king.
"We choose...YOU." Blobmon said lustfully, only inches from your face. One of his goopy hands reached out and brushed your hair away from your eyes. He smelled like swamp gas. "You, of course, have no choice. Once everyone goes to this lake to light the festival lanterns we will throw you into the lake to turn you into one of us and keep you forever." He started to laugh and his entire body shook with each bellow. It was now night and the moonlight illuminated all the monsters' bodies with a sickly purple glow.
"Gross." whispered to yourself. Your heart sank. Why wasn't Genos and the others here? You were a little hopeful that Genos liked you enough to honestly keep a better eye on you.
"Ah, right on schedule." commented King Blobmon as he saw the first of many floating lanterns light. The light reflected onto the water. You gasped. NO! You thought.
King blobmon motioned for his monsters to bring you to the rail of the bridge. You dragged your heels into the ground and you mustered the courage to started screaming. The monster that was holding your arm willed his goo to travel up your arm onto your shoulder, to your neck, and into your mouth to muffle your cries for help.
Your body was half way across the railing when before your entire mouth was covered you inhaled to scream the youve loudest ever screamed before.
"GENOS!!!!!"

The Voice of the World
Jason Elric used to be an ordinary college student living in the heart of San Francisco. He had a part time job, he played online games with friends he got along moderately well with, and he earned reasonably good grades. The worst he really had to worry about in life was turning in his coursework on time and not being late to class. Now, though? Now fighting for his life and running from a horde of giant frogs that want to make him their next meal is just another Tuesday. Thanks to a summoning ritual gone terribly right, Jason has found himself trapped in a world eerily similar to the role playing games games he used to play for fun. Unfortunately for the now ex-college student, everything happening around him is terrifyingly real and if he wants to survive, he’ll have to figure out how to exploit the system for his benefit before it’s too late. The Voice of the World is the first part of what is planned to be a multi-book, Isekai LitRPG story with crafting elements, set in the fantasy world known as Verdania. This is my first time posting online for public consumption, so bear with me as I work to find a style that people like. While I may occasionally write scenes that may deal with heavy concepts, expect this story to be primarily light hearted high fantasy. There will be a lot of common fantasy tropes involved, as this story got its start as a simple practice exercise, rather than any plan to actually post it. However, it’s grown on me, so I felt it’s worth sharing after all. Thus, if you’re looking for more serious/original/unusual stories, you might want to look elsewhere. For the rest of you, feel free to leave suggestions, as well as to point out grammar and spelling mistakes; I’ll do my best to make edits to correct them. I do my own editing currently, and it’s easy to miss things when you know what’s supposed to be there, so such call outs are highly encouraged. Content TLDR: No harems, probably no romance (unless it makes sense for the story later on) (it did, eventually), definitely no sex (keeping this PG-13 or close to it), limited profanity. Does/Will contain mixes of magic and technology (think Warhammer, Final Fantasy); copious amounts of blue tables; race, gender, and sexual equality concepts; crafting sequences; and (slightly, but not overbearingly) strong protagonists. If you don’t like these things, go elsewhere instead of downvoting people for content instead of writing quality. Update Time currently varies, due to personal injury, but the goal is 1/week on Wednesdays, with a possible smaller chapter on weekends if time/health permits.
