The rain-soaked straight through to his skin, spreading a dull ache through his body. The pain in his leg was building, becoming worse and worse with every step he took until it forced a groan out of his stubbornly clenched mouth. Chat Noir gasped, and his legs gave out, sending him crashing to the cold, wet pavement with dull emotions.

Chat Noir held the scarf that Ladybug gave him weeks ago, "She can't be gone..."

"I'm sorry but she had to go..." Tikki said but still in shock that she did it and left her.

"Where did she go?" Adrien asked hoping to get an answer.

"I'm sorry I can't tell you," Tikki sighed as Marinette swore her into secrecy.

"Why?

"Because I don't even know." Tikki sadden more at her next words, "Adrien...you can't be Chat Noir anymore. Or keep both of us." Tikki said sadly.

"I understand, "Chat Noir sighed as he turned back to his civilian form and look at his ring.

Plagg immediately freaked out from the pouring rain, "Hey what going on? Why am I getting wet? Sugar cube?"

"Sorry Plagg, "Tikki apologized as she got Adrien ring.

"What happened?" Plagg began to ask worriedly as Tikki passed him.

"Ladybug was akumatized..." Tikki admitted with a broken heart, "Adrien is now the new Ladybug holder, so we must go take you with the others."

"Wait, she left the miraculous box too?" Adrien asked as he listened to the Kwami conversation.

Tikki nodded, "Yes, don't worry they will be safe."

"So I can't even know her name?" Adrien growled at the secrets that keep coming out.

Tikki gave him a reassuring smile, "Its Bunnix."

Adrien sighed in relief and nodded, "Take Plagg then and Plagg we'll be back together one day." He promised.

Plagg nodded, "I know kid, take care of sugar cube."

"I will," Adrien promised as looked up the sky as the rain stopped with the moon shining through.

The Kwamis then flew down over the edge of the building's rooftop and flew to Alix's home. There they found her reading the letter from Ladybug with the miraculous egg.

"Dear Alix, I'm calling you to take your miraculous as Bunnix. A very powerful miraculous that will give you the ability of time travel. As a daughter of a historian, you understand the importance of protecting the timeline to protect the past and future. I'm not asking you to be a hero to fight along with the miraculous hero's but to be the protector. I have faced the future and something terrible is coming. I need you to not let anyone come to disrupt our present like Time tagger. I believe in you and seen before my eye that you will be a great holder. From what I learned from the multiple visits from future Bunnix is that I trust you. I have left you with the miracle egg that contains all the miraculous and I need you to protect them. I am unable to fulfill my duties as a guardian to them for the time being. Time is the essence and I hope what I'm doing will stop from a new future to form. So take care of them... Ladybug" Alix put down the letter and inspected the egg without knowing the Kwamis were present.

"Hello Bunnix," Tikki bowed toward her with Plagg ring in hand.

Alix was spooked for a second as Tikki interrupted her thoughts, "You're a kwami?"

"Yes, I'm now Mister Bug kwami," Tikki introduce herself.

"What's going on?" Alix began to ask worriedly.

"I'm here to bring the cat miraculous," Tikki says as she took a breath as she handed the cat miraculous in her hand sadly, "Keep him safe with the others."

Alix could tell that Tikki was feeling hurt and didn't want to answer questions. At least for the time period, Alix held her questions and nodded toward Tikki, "Tell Mister Bug he can trust me."

Tikki nodded as she began to float away to her new owner.

Alix then pulled out the pocket watch and revealed the bunny kwami. Alix smiled as recalled her future self a couple of months ago. She then picked up the miracle egg and looked at her new kwami friend, "Fluff, clockwise."

It has been over weeks. The guardians are doing everything they can to stop the Akuma in Marinette. However the Akuma is getting stronger as she falls into dispair. Marinette was losing hope till the one day when Misfortune took control and gave her a realization. She realized that it wouldn't be long now before she became too weak.

"Master Ping I should be locked up," Marinette said when she went to the council to talk about her realization.

"Marinette none of us think you should be locked up." Master Ping made one or two steps towards her but stopped when Marinette held out a hand. "Come on Guardians back me up here." To his shock, no one was backing him up.

"Master Ping... I think Guardian Marinette right..." one of the Master guardians spoke up. "She is afraid of losing control. Which can only weaken her ability to keep the Akuma contained. Until she has a better handle on her powers she should be put in the cavern. We don't want her to end up in any more harm as she is."

Master Ping approached her as she was relief that they agreed, he was the first guardian she met when she arrived at the temple for help. He was like Master fu as she struggled to control the Akuma tauntings. He was her motivation to keep fighting but she has take all precautions. The Guardians then locked her up in a cavern cell and after a couple days she still remembers the look on her mentor's face as he locked the door behind her, the image forever etched into her mind: a haunting mixture of fear, misery, regret, with perhaps a touch of shame, embarrassment, despair.

She spent that first day huddled in the corner, not daring to move lest she unintentionally unleashes Misfortune to take over as she tried to escape. Painful sobs racked her body over and over again; no matter how hard she tried to suppress them, they continued to pour out of her. At mealtimes, a Master Ping brought her tray, but Marinette never left the corner; she had neither the desire nor the energy to eat.

As painful as the first days were, it was nothing compared to what she experienced when she fell asleep for weeks. Instead of blessed slumber, she had relived one of the worst nights of her life in her sleep, sometimes more than once.

Every night, she had to watch herself help try to assassinate Hawkmoth then fight with Chat Blanc and listen to him yell about how he thought she was his friend, and how she had betrayed him. She wanted to say she was sorry, but she could never get a single sound out. Sometimes she turns into Misfortune and killed him. Sometimes he killed her. Either way, it scared her so much she woke up in a cold sweat.

At night is when the voices stop and she was able to be by herself under the stars. She cleared her mind as best she could, enjoying the feel of the wind coming down her.

She started thinking about her nightmare, then started reliving it awake. She collapsed, falling to her knees. She had made a horrible mistake of keeping all this a secret. She had lost Chat Noir and it was all her fault.

She sat for minutes that felt like hours, wrapped up in her guilt and misery. She closed her eyes, picturing Chat's face twisted in betrayal when she went through the portal all those weeks ago. It hurt her, seeing him like that and knowing she had caused it.

A few more eternities passed as it does every night. Till she can fall asleep to see the next day.

"Stop it!" Cried out Adrien as he struggled through the chains as he yelled at Volpinamoth as she taunted Marinette.

"And ruin all my fun? Were just getting started," Volpinamoth chuckled as she paused to look at Adrien attempts to break the chains.

"No, she stopping you. I at least know she will put your plan for a halt for months."

"Maybe, or maybe not. I'm the one controlling time. That why its the perfect opportunity," she snapped for Time Tagger to appeared.

"What are you doing?"Adrien yelled as she told Time tagger to create a portal.

"I found out who has the miraculous egg. Little Alix. It time to tell the fortune of the future queen, to follow the path for greatness. So sit back and watch to learn it's finally my turn." Volpina laughed as she transformed into her adult civilian form, "As I recalled I had everyone wrapped around my finger."

"No!!" Adrien growls as he struggles to break the chains.

"I want what I deserve Adrikins." She chuckles as she went took a step toward the portal.

"Stop!" He yelled as she went through the Time tagger following.

"Don't worry we'll meet again in time," she waved as she went through the time portal.

"So why leave us here?" Plagg says as Bunnix took them through the cave.

"The Cretaceous era is where there no humans who can use your powers. Its the safest time era." Bunnix said as she set the egg with the miraculous.

"So why do you need me to not be dormant in the ring?" Plagg asked as he viewed the dinosaurs roaming outside not interested in being out.

"Because one, Ladybug didn't actually leave me directions to how to put you with the rest of them," Alix says as she pointed at the egg, "And two as the kwami of destruction I bet you make sure that nothing happens to them," Alix said confidently.

Plagg gave her a puzzling look, "righttt..." Plagg says as he looked around to see his accommodations.

"So, I can trust you then," Alix asked as she creates a portal about to leave.

"Yup, you can count on me," Plagg says as he did a mini superhero pose.

"Great I'll come back to check on you in a few days," Alix saluted towards him and she went through the portal.

"And Master Fu said I couldn't be trusted without an owner," Plagg chuckles as he went to dive into the cheese Bunnix left him, "What can go wrong?"

Bunnix portal opened to the park. When she did she found Time Tagger lurking by a nearby tree.

"It's you again," she growled as she pointed her umbrella towards him.

Time Tagger started to chuckle, "Come on you think you can take on me? Your just a squirt here and were the same age."

"Hare a rising tail, I can still kick your butt," Bunnix growled as she charged toward Time Tagger into battle.

He then sprays a portal for her to get through, "You can't touch me, Carrots. I've been doing this since I was born. So hop along into your hole." Bunnix then fell through Time Tagger hole, "That was easy."

"So you like time travel let me send you to the next century," Bunnix announced herself as she appeared from above him to kick him down.

Time Tagger then dodges her kick, "It time to make you history."

Meantime, Lila had just been able to enter her home and found her younger self.

"I'm you from the future. Don't you want to know about your bright future?"

Young Lila gave her a sinister smile, "Keep talking."

"Listen we don't have a lot of time... actually we do.. well we will," Future Lila began to stammer on her words.

"When you want to make sense just let me know," Young Lila yawned as she leaned on her chair.

"You need to find the hiding spot of the miraculous box," Future Lila demanded.

"Run through this to me again," Lila commented with more interest.

"You know were not meant to play nice like Ladybug want," Future Lila began.

"Don't even mention her, she ruined everything I had with Adrien. You know she gave Chloe back her miraculous charm?" Young Lila commented angrily.

"Won't even give us a chance right?" Future Lila says, "If they want a villain for a queen. Let make you one like they've never seen."

"Tell me how then? Working with Gabriel is losing satisfaction," Lila asked as her interest grew.

"Working even closer is the key darling," Future Lila explained, "we'll be the ruler of the dark and the bad. Just listen to my orders all you have to do is take control of the game."

"Okay, I'm tired of pretending so how am I getting my happy ending?" Young Lila asked.

"Just wait until they fall to my.. our wicked schemes." Future Lila explained, "Starting with Alix."

"The short stack of boyish antics?" Young Lila asked.

"She is the new holder of the miraculous and now the protector of the miraculouses," Future Lila explained, "Find out where she hid it and get it."

"How can I do it without a miraculous or an Akuma?" Young Lila asked.

"Your me, I know you'll figure it out. When you do, I'll be back to make our future bright. So we got a deal?" Future Lila said with her hand out.

"Of course, your me," Lila smiled as she took her hand then an explosion was heard outside.

"Hmm, seem like my minion is getting impatient," Future Lila mumbled as she started to walk out.

"So what is going to be our future?" Lila asked.

"They call us the queen," future Lila chuckles as she called out, "Nooroo and Trixx unified!"

Lila had snuck onto the battlefield of Bunnix with now accompanied by Mister Bug. Lila watched as Time Tagger dodged Mister Bug yo-yo attacks. She watched as Bunnix got a few hits on him. Through the moth miraculous she was able to communicate to him to tell him to make a portal and hideout. As soon as Time Tagger did she used the fox miraculous to create an illusion of him running off to send off the heroes.

"Come on Tagger," Lila ordered as the illusion of Time Tagger caused a chase by Mister bug and Bunnix away from the scene.

"Right away your highness," Time Tagger mumbled as rubbed his hip and created the portal.

"So bugs bunny outsmarted you?" Lila mocked.

"Are you done?" Time tagger asked.

"I've been hurt for the last time now.And I won't ever let another person take advantage of me again now," Lila replied as she entered the portal home, "Were playing with the big boys now."
