《A Daughter of Thanatos( Nico di Angelo )》Chapter 7

Clarissa Walker's P.O.V
Whoa.... I blinked two more times before breathing again. My dad is the 'Reaper of Souls'. Isn't that awesome!?! Just imagine how freaked out my date would be if I told him about my family.
'My mom got a one night stand with, Thanatos, my dad, Reaper of souls. Cool right?.' (Sarcasm intended) I shook my head at the image.
"Clarissa?" Chiron said. I snapped out of my thoughts. "Yes?" I asked, trying to get this through my hard head. "Are you alright?" I nodded. "I'm fine." Chiron gave me a nod.
"Good. Andrea will be sleeping in the Apollo cabin. There really isn't a Thanatos cabin, but you can stay in the Hades cabin since they are close friends." I nodded my head.
"Who else is in the Hades cabin?" I asked. "Nico Di Angelo. And sometimes Hazel Levsque, when she is visiting from camp Jupiter." I have to stay in the same cabin as Nico...... WHY DOES LIFE HATE ME SO MUCH!!!?!????!! I shook my head.
"Can't I be in some other cabin? Like the Hermes cabin!" Chiron sighed. "Is there a problem between you two?" Now it's my turn to sigh. "Not really.... We just don't get along to well."
"That's fine. Just try to behave yourselves when you two are together." I groaned. He left me there, then Irissa and Shadow walked up to me. "Are you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost." Irissa asked. Shadow smacked the back of her head.
"Of course! Her dad is Thanatos. Reaper of souls and the doors of death! What did you expect? She'd see unicorns?"
Shadow placed her weight on her right foot. "No..." Irissa said. "Okay then, what did Chiron say?" Shadow asked.
I sighed. "I have to be in the same cabin as Nico Di Angelo...." They gaped. "Ooh, he's kind of cute..." Shadow said. I playfully punched her arm. "No way! He is the exact opposite."
She pouted. "Most of the Aphrodite girls try to catch his attention, but he just pushes them away or yells in their face." Irissa says. He really is that popular with the girls....
"But they still try to get him to notice them." I nodded. Why would they still try? I think he has made it very clear that he wants nothing to do with them.

I felt a little pang to my chest. Am I jealous? No, I can't be. I don't care about Nico and or whoever wants him.
"Clare? You okay?" I shook my head. "Yeah, why?" I asked them. "You keep spacing out." Irissa said, worriedly. "Yeah, dude. You okay?" Shadow asked.
I forced out a smile. "Of course I am." They smiled. "Okay, so what do you guys want to do before I am dragged into hell?" They chuckled.
"Your so in love...." Irissa said under her breath, but I was still able to hear it. "Am not!" I snapped at her. She held her hands up in defeat.
"Okay, okay. I was just joking, calm ya tits down." They chuckled a little more and I began to pout. "Awe, it's okay Clare." I sighed.
"So, do you guys want to meet my friend, Andy?" I asked them, hoping they'll drop the subject. "Sure!" We left and searched for Andy. We spotted her sitting under a tree.
"Hey..." I said. "Are you okay?" I asked her. She sighed. "I'm still a little bit in shock about the things that happened lately." I smiled.
"I am too, but we have to get used to it." She looked up at me. "Aren't you going to introduce me to your new friends?" She asked. Oh, I forgot they were still here. I thought they left.
I smiled and nodded my head. "This is Shadow and Irissa." I said as I pointed at them. They gave a smile and a wave. "So, what are you guys doing?"Andy asked.
She got up and dusted herself off. We shrugged. "Looking for you." Irissa answered. Andy smiled. "Well, you've found me. What are you people planing to do now?"
"We should get going to our cabins now. It's getting kinda late. Wouldn't want any harpies chasing after us, would we?" Irissa said.
We walked together back to the cabin area. We chatted a bit and I learned that Irissa is an undetermined camper and Shadow was a child of Ares.
When we reached my cabin, we said our good-byes and left in opposite directions. I braced myself for once as I entered the Hades cabin. I looked around and saw Nico wasn't there. I sighed and collapsed on my bed.

"What are you doing?" Someone asked. I looked over to see Nico only wearing a towel?!? I screamed as I covered my eyes shut with a pillow.
"Oh my gawd. I did not just see that." I kept shaking my head as I tried to get half-naked Nico out of my head. He has abs... Don't think that! I scolded myself.
"What are you doing here?" He asked. "Put on some decent clothes and I'll answer your question. He sighed. "Okay..." A little while later, he was finished.
"So, what are you doing here?" He asked again. "I'm in this cabin now." I looked at him and inwardly laughed.
"Y-you're my s-sister?" I shivered at the thought. "No! I'm the daughter of Thanatos. Chiron told me that this is the closest cabin to Thanatos." He sighed. "Whew..." He sighed.
"Where's my bed?" He scratched his head. "There's only one bed." What...? "Pardon me, what?" I asked him. He groaned.
"There's only one bed." He said again. "What about Hazel? When she visits, doesn't she need her own bed?" I asked him?
"She doesn't stay over." I nodded. "Okay, hand me a pillow and blanket." I said. He looked at me confused. "What do you mean?" I groaned.
"Give me a pillow and blanket... So I will sleep on the ground." He shook his head. "I'll sleep on the ground." I smirked.
"Oh.. So now you're being a gentleman?" I asked. "Be thankful. I'm actually being nice to you." I raised an eyebrow.
"Thanks, but no thanks. I'm fine with sleeping on the ground." He sighed. "I am." He said.
(C- Clarissa and N- Nico)
C-I am
N- No, I am
C- I am
N- UGHH, I am
"We can't both sleep on the ground." I told him. He crossed his arms over his chest. "We also can't sleep on the same bed." I said to him. He shrugged.
"We can." He said. "WHAT?!?" I screamed. "It's big enough to fit 5 people. We could just put some pillows between us." I sighed.
"I guess. But if you lay one finger on me during the night, I will break you." He shrugged. "I wouldn't dream of it." He rolled his eyes and rearranged the pillows.
Once he was done, we both got into bed and stayed at a far distance from each other. "Night." He said to me. I sighed. "Night..." And with that, I drifted off to sleep.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I woke up with something using me as a pillow. It was soft too, so I cuddled into it. Are pillows suppose to breath? I think not! I pulled away from the pillow, and saw it was.... Nico?!?! I screamed but it didn't really wake him.
He was snoring softly and his hair was perfectly messed up. "It's rude to stare you know." He said. "I know I'm good looking, is that why you're checking me out."
My eyes widened. I could already feel the heat rising to my face. "I wasn't checking you out!!!" He smirked. "Uh-huh. Is that why you're blushing?" I groaned. "Shut up you moron!" I yelled at him, before storming out of his room.
"Andy!" I called out to her. She waved me over. I jogged over to her and screamed. "AHHHHH!!!!!" I screamed. I dropped to my knees and covered my eyes.
"Ew, ew, ew, ew, ew, EW!!!" I can't believe that happened! It was wrong, but it felt so right. I don't know why, but it's like I felt safe in his arms. "Nico and I slept in the same bed, then a little earlier, we ended up cuddling in our sleep." I explained to her. "Oh my gawd!!!! Give me the deets."

Era: Dawn of the New Gods
Concise Synopsis: This is a post-apocalyptic story about the origins of various powerful figures that appeared after the apocalypse event. During the apocalypse monsters appeared possessing powers and constitution beyond the limits of human understanding. They ravaged the world and brought down all governments. The first part of the story follows Jade, a terrorist that was ravaging the world before the monsters arrived. Dramatic Synopsis: The New Gods, the most feared and revered beings on the planet. They are forces capable of absolute destruction and creation. The Council of Branches Hayley, the Living Lie (if that is her real name) Chao Feng, the Prince of Stars Lara, the Mother of Heroes The Great City of Tver Gog, the Ever Losing War The Unkillable Freak Dave, the Flow Demon Avatari, (only the name is known) Satoshi, the Gentle Hurricane As Impactful as they are no one knew their origin, they are called the New Gods so there must be Old Gods. I and my collegues dedicated our lives to finding their origins only to find out that the beings we fear and adore were once like us, average, mortal and weak... at least most of them were. *It is a sort of reverse RPG as no one knows anything either skills, abilities or how the system works but they find out on their own or develop their own skills or abilites. *The story has many protagonists and point of views but it paints a beatiful story of survival in a world of endless perils for both the humans and the monsters(some monsters are protagonists). *There is a system but it is very limited (not overpowered) and treats everyone equally, monster or human. The system is very different from regular systems; no exp, levels and system items. *The story is a world building story where overall, the world is the true main character. The cover image photo is credited to Angel David *For now it's one chapter a day
