"Clare, get out of bed." I groaned. Why do they have to wake me up so early?
"CLARISSA JADE WALKER, This is the last time I am going to tell you. GET OUT OF BED." I dug my face even deeper into the pillow and snored.
I heard silence and smirked into the pillow. "Fine, if you won't get out of bed, we'll just force you out."
I felt two cold hands grab on to each foot and pull me out of bed. "AHHHH!!!!!!!!" I scramed as I fell onto the floor. "Gods, we should have done that before." I looked up and saw Andy nodding.
I glared at them and went to go inside the bed. "No, no, no. You need to get dressed, take a shower and brush your teeth. Gosh, your breath stinks." I scowled at Shadow and tried to push her out of the way.
If you're asking, how'd I end up in this bed? Why does my breath stink? Your middle name is Jade?
Let's rewind and go back to where I left off, shall we?

"Where are we going now?" Shadow asked. "Let's take a break. We need to rest tonight." Nico said.
Everyone nodded and I just stared outside the window. How could I be so stupid and like him??? I shouldn't have been so naive. He doesn't like me. The kiss was just in the heat of the moment.
I shook my head. He doesn't like me and I don't like him. Why do I have to be so hard headed?
"Clare, you okay?" Andy asked. I forced out a smile and nodded. "Just thinking." She nodded and stopped asking me questions.
I caught Nico stare at me through the rear-view mirror and I glared at him. He looked away and I sighed. "Where are we going to sleep?" Cole asked, speaking for the first time.
"A hotel." I rolled my eyes. "He knows that. He means which hotel." I said.
He scoffed. "I think you should let him say that himself. He doesn't need you to do it for him. Right Cole?" Cole opened his mouth to answer him, but I beat him to it.
"I guess, since you both are males. Of course, you would side with each other. Even if you guys are on the stupid side." I heard him growl and I smirked.
Cole was going to speak again, but Nico interrupted. "Just like girls." My head snapped to his direction and I kicked his seat hard. "You fucking bastard. Girls are always right. Even if we're slightly wrong, we're still right."

He rolled his eyes. "You're so stupid. I bet you only have a single digit IQ."
"Asshole!!!" I grabbed his hair and pulled on it. "Hey! HEY. Stop it!!!" He tried to control the car, while I whacked his head left and right. The car switch different lanes.
Shadow pulled me back into my seat. I growled, but decided not to fight her.
I puffed out my cheecks and glared at the back of Nico's head.
Nico was able to get us into this really cool hotel, The Donatello, but I would never say so out loud. It would just boost his over-sized ego. No good will come out of it.
I looked around the hotel and was damned. This place had a modern look to it. The place was huge and I wonder how much was for a room...
"Let's go." We followed Nico up the long stairs. We walked all the way up to a room. Nico let everyone in and when I was about to go in, his body blocked the door. "Move." He shook his head. "I'm tired and want to sleep. Just move." He shook his head again.
"Fine." He smirked and I laid down on the ground. I pretended to sleep. "Hey, I didn't mean it! Get up. You can go inside."
I heard him sigh. I kept my eyes closed and I felt myself being lfted up. I screamed and tried to get away from who was carrying me. "AHH!!!!!!!!!!" I kept on squirming to get away.
"Let me go!!!" I screamed. "As you wish." Then I fell on the ground. I rubbed my hurt bum and looked up.
Nico was laughing and holding his stomach. "Ha, ha, ha. Hilarious." I said. I rolled my eyes and got up. I brushed myself off. "Jerk..."
I ran and went inside a room. "Whew."
I looked up and saw Andy and Shadow playing a game with their hands. "Don't you think we're too old to play patty-cake?" They looked from their game and rolled their eyes at me. "No, you're never too old and we're not playing patty-cake." Andy said.
"Okay, so then what are you playing?" Andy shrugged. "We're just stacking our hands." Shadow explained. I nodded. "Clare, we're bored!" Andy exclaimed. "What do you expect me to do?"
She groaned. "I'm hungry!!!" She shouted. "There's a fridge." Shadow said.
"Can one of you guys make me a samich?" Andy asked. "It's sandwich, not samich." Andy pouted. "Samich?" Shadow groaned. "Sandwich."

"Samich." I groaned now.
"Sand. Wich."
"Sam. Ich."
"Both of you quiet down. I'm going to have a headache." Of course, the two didn't listen to me and argued who was right. "Can you guys shut up? We're tryingto sleep." Nico said coming into the room.
"Great..." I burried my head under the covers. Does he know how to knock? "Nico, tell Cole to make me a samich." Andy commanded him.
"Samich?" He looked confused. "Isn't it sandwich?" He asked. Shadow fist-bumped the air. "I told you!" She yelled at Andy. "He's stupid, it doesn't count!" I laughed at that. I owe Andy one.
"COLE!" Andy screamed. "Y-Yeah?" He asked, coming into the room. "It's samich right?" She batted her eye-lashes. Andy even pouted her lip. Her big puppy eyes were out too. "Y-Yeah?" She smiled and held onto his arm.
She turned to Shadow and stuck her tongue out. "No fair! He's completely smitten with you! Of course he'd be on your side!" Andy and Cole both blushed.
"We tied..." They all slowly turned their heads to me. "Clare." Shadow said slowly. "What?" I asked at the same speed.
"Which one of us is right?" Andy asked. I shrugged. "I don't know." They groaned.
"Come on, Clare! Just pick one randomly." I grinned. "Whoever can make me a really tasty snack, I will choose their side."
Andy and Shadow immediately rushed to the kitchen. The boys just followed slowly. Wow, I just tricked them to making me snacks. I'm freak'n awesome!
"Hey! What are you grinning about?" I blinked and saw Nico still here. I thought he left.
"I thought you left." I voiced my thoughts. "Nope. No way in hell am I ever going to cook for you." I nodded. "Good. You might've poisoned it anyways." He laughed. "You think I'd do that?" I nodded.
Why don't I feel awkward? He kissed me and told me it meant nothing to him. It shouldn't to me either.
"By the way, the kiss?" I froze. "Yeah?" I asked. "It didn't mean anything to you right?" I nodded. "Yup, absolutely nothing." Lie.
"Good." He stood up and stuffed his hands in his pocket. "Can you give me half of it?"
"Huh?" I asked. "The food. I'm hungry." I rolled my eyes. "As, if!" He pouted. "Please!" I raised my eyebrows. "Is Nico Di Angelo begging?" He scoffed. "Yeah right!"
"So, you're admitting it?" He rolled his eyes. "You're annoying."
I smiled. "I know." Then Andy and Shadow came in, out of breath. "We're....here!" Andy said panting. They both presented me with a snack.
Andy made me an oreo castle with chocolate milk on the side. Shadow made me a sandwich with a lot of turkey. Mmm... They both look so yummy. I ate Shadow's first and Andy's second.
"Well?" I burped and finished the milk. "They were both good. Great job guys!" They groaned. "Who is right?"
"I don't know. Both of you." Saying they were angry is an understatment. They furious! Their was something in their eyes that made me regret what I had done.
"We'll take back the food we made you if you don't tell us who is right." Shadow said in a calm voice. "Umm..." I took off running and they chased me. I felt like throwing up.
"Get back here!" I heard Andy yell. I feel the food coming up. One of them pushed me and I did something that will make my life completely miserable.
I threw up all over Nico. I saw his expression and wanted to piss. "I-I..." I covered my mouth. I ran to the bathroom and locked myself in it.
OH MY GOSH! I did not just do that. I washed my mouth and looked at myself throught the mirror. "What is wrong with you?" I whispered to myself.
I stayed in there 'til it was midnight. I walked out the bathrooma dnsneaked in the room where the girls and were staying. I snuggled into the sheets and slept okay..

Small Chests Are Fine Too
It is an undeniable fact that good things come in small packages. More often than not, it is necessary to trim the fat in order to bring what really matters to the forefront. Having extra bulk may seem like a good idea, but in reality it is merely a crutch that will one day become a hindrance, as it is no substitute for personality nor ability. Indeed, often times it is the small things in life that brighten up our daily lives and constantly remind us exactly why we do the things we do. However, it is important to keep an open mind, for while bigger is not always better, there are also times when it is. This holds especially true when it comes to hopes and dreams, which have been known to require a suitably large container from time to time. And while dreaming big could potentially lead to massive dissapointment, one will never truly reach fulfilment if they think too small. A truth that one small woman with meager aspirations is about to find out. DISCLAIMER: This is a spin-off/side story of my main series, Everybody Loves Large Chests, which is also mandatory reading to understand this one. It runs parallel to the main plot, branching off from the chapter titled Upheaval 2, so there will be spoilers for anyone who hasn't reached that point.
