Nico di Angelo's P.O.V
"Let's go already!!!" Shadow yelled at me. I rolled my eyes, but started the car. "Tell the two lovebirds to sit two inches apart from each other." Shadow tried to pry the two off of each other, but failed. Clarissa was sitting next to me and everything was running smoothly.
"Where exactly is this... matchmaking company thingy?" Clarissa asked. "It's close to the empire state building." She nodded.
"Okay." She muttered and sank back into her seat. "Clare, help me tear these two apart." She sighed, but did so. "Tickle Andy's left ear. She punches anyone who does that."
"You want me to get punched? You're such a good friend, Clara." Shadow said, rolling her eyes. Clare groaned. "When she punches you, she let's go of Cole." Shadow nodded.
"Here goes nothing." Shadow muttered.
She tickled Andy's left ear and Andy let go of Cole's arm. Shadow quickly moved her over and occupied the space Andy used to sit in.
"Hey!" Andy yelled. She glared at Shadow and punched her arm. "Thanks, Shadow. If it weren't for you, I would still be clinging onto Cole!" Shadow said, rolling her eyes. "You're welcome!"
Clarissa groaned and rubbed her temples. "Hey, are you okay?" I asked her. She nodded weakly. "Yeah, I'm just having a headache."
"Okay, you should get some rest then." She nodded and closed her eyes.
I sighed and tried to block Andy's screeching at Shadow.

Clarissa Walker's P.O.V
I quickly fell asleep and the dreams began...
I was back at my old neighborhood playground. I looked around the deserted area and exhaled.
"Clare... Clare...", said a little girl's sing-song voice. "Who's there?" I asked.

The voice giggled. "Don't tell me you forgot about me..." I felt my breathing turn uneven. She giggled again. "You promised, Clara."
I know that voice. It's... I-It's... "Violet."
Violet appeared in front of me. She wore the baby pink dress she used to wear when she was younger. "Ahhh, so now you remember me, Clara?"
"What do you want?" I asked her. "Something," She replied. "only you can give me."
I glared at her. "What is it?" I asked. She smiled a sickly sweet smile. "Sweet, sweet vengeance."
In a flash, she was next to me holding a small pocket knife. She cut my arm. I hissed and grabbed my arm.
"You little bitch!" I yelled at her. She slashed against my same arm again. "You think this is enough? No. It isn't."
She moved back to the spot she was in earlier. "Goodbye, Clara. For now..." She giggled and skipped away.
The image of the place blurred and I woke up.

"Clara! Are you okay?" Andy screamed. I looked around my surroundings and I was back in the car. "W-What happened?" I asked them.
Nico sighed. "You were having a nightmare. You kept on mumbling things and hissing." I nodded.
"Oh, okay." Nightmare? But it felt so real. And... Violet... How? Why?
I touched the spot on my arm where she cut me. I flinched. Huh?
I checked my arm and there were two cuts on them. W-What? "Clare, you're hurt." Nico said. He ran his cold fingers on the two cuts. I flinched again.
"How did these happen?" He asked. I shrugged. "I don't know." Lie.
"Hmm..." He said. "Are you sure you're okay?" Nico asked. I nodded. "Yeah, I'm sure."

"Are you sure you're sure?" Andy asked. I sighed. "Yes."
"Are you sure you're sure you're sure?" Shadow asked. I groaned. "Yes! I know when I'm okay!" I yelled.
"Sheesh..." Shadow said, before sitting back into her seat.
"Are we there yet?" Andy asked. "No." Nico said.
"Are we there yet?"
"No."
"Are we there yet."
"No."
"Are w-"
"No, no, no, no, no, no, and NO!" Nico said.
I rolled my eyes at them. "Hey, Nico." Shadow said to him. "Yeah." He said.
"You have a vain sticking out your forehead." I laughed at that. "Hahahah!" I pointed my finger at him and continued to laugh.
"Shut up." He said. He glared both at Shadow and I.
"Hey Cole," Andy began. "Yes?"
"Why does a seagul fly over the sea?" She asked him. He shrugged. "Because if it flew over the bay it would be called a bagel!" Cole cracked a smile and Shadow shook her head disapprovingly. "That was not a joke." She said.
Andy crossed her arms over her chest. "Well, what is?"
"Knock, knock."
"Who's there?"
"Broken pencil."
"Broken pencil who?"
"Ahh, never mind. It was a pointless joke." Shadow busted out laughing at her own joke. Andy rolled her eyes. "That was horrible." Andy said.
"You're just jealous." Shadow said.
They're voices became muffled as my thoughts began to wander off to my dream.
What was she doing in my dream? Isn't she supposed to be Aunt Carly? Why did she want revenge? Why did she cut me? What happened? Why did I call her a bitch?
All these different questions surrounded my head. It gave me a headache. "Guys? Somethings feels off." Nico said.
"What is it?" Cole asked. "It's like, I can feel another presence. Someone else is here." They started to look around the car for another person.
"We don't see anyone." Shadow said.
"It's a ghost." Now that he mentioned it, I feel something else too. "Why?"
"I'm not sure..."

The Mystifying Diviner
Content warning, there is cursing in the story and there will be some pretty heavy sexual innuendos in it also. I don’t really plan to write gore, but there will be fight scenes. Fair warning to readers, it is a slow start. But hopefully it is enjoyable for you to read. Follow the story of an old chef who was lucky to be selected to become a system host. Well maybe not so lucky, because gaining the system killed him. He will be given a system that might not be the best match for him. While also having to deal with a snarky system monitor who might not be that helpful most of the time. He will also use his new found powers to enjoy life in a new younger body. What you can expect from this story is bad writing, poor grammar, and slow pacing maybe. Food, cooking, comedy, slice of life, fighting, exploring, tournaments, scamming and probably face slapping. I mean who doesn’t like a good face slapping? This is my take on a cultivation story, a lot of Eastern stuff will be crammed into with a mix of Western. This story started as a goal for myself to write 60,000 words in a month for NaNoWriMo. I was able to do it even with taking days off and not writing. I plan to keep writing the story, but at a slightly slower pace. I am aiming for 2-3 chapters a week now with about 4-7k words written. This is only posted on RoyalRoad currently, and I have no plans to change that for now. Cover art is by Jack0fheart [Participant in the 2021 Royal Road Writathon Challenge for the month of November 2021]

Truck-kun Gets Sacrificed
Driscoll is my own version of a world with a game-like "system" of endless possibilities. MC has his own status, classes, skills, magic, and a living greatswordstaff in a world of monsters, demi-humans of all kinds, and even the supernatural. Sound good? Well, at first for Tru, it was a dream come true(I'm sorry). At least until reality hits him again and again. His quest from God is vague and must be discovered by him along the way. Hopefully, he can figure that out someday but for now, this new world's threats and his potential for power are motivation aplenty. With His new partner by his side, he's ready to embark on his mission of infinite sacrifice, however many lives it takes. The setting is pretty standard for fantasy, with my beginner attempts at writing. Litrpg elements are definitely involved here but It'll calm down as the story progresses and the world's foundation is laid. Judeo/Christian themes and principles take a major role and will be a backbone for much of the story. The fights will paint a picture in the mind rather than just be a bunch of number crunching. While he is meant to be a sacrifice to save all of Driscoll, he needs to gain enough power and influence to be a worthwhile sacrifice, or so he thinks. And so carnage will ensue as he avoids death as best he can while at the same time sacking himself for others. Truck Coon is your average determined, jiu-jitsu practitioner, tax associate that just started his new career. He dies to save kids from a semi-truck(Truck Coon got truck-kun'd, making him Truck-kun) and is transported to another world rather conventionally by God. Upon his arrival, he is quickly confronted with his first conflicts in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. Chapters are currently between 2300 and 4000 words and I try to post weekly, but also deal with severe limitations that cause late posts often. I have zero actual experience with writing stories and only recently started reading web novels in 2020. If you end up hating it, let me know your thoughts in a detailed comment or review, especially if you love it though :D I want to get better and welcome the feedback, so expect changes to be made with any flaws that y'all point out which I don't already have plans to address in future chapters. That being said, keep it constructive in nature, please. I have no Idea how the formatting and such will go, so if you like or dislike some techniques I try, give me that well-appreciated feedback! Thank you for reading.
