"Sup, goofus," you ruffled Nico's hair. Sitting next to him on the grass behind his cabin. You both met here often on days without any activites going on in the camp.
Capture-the-Flag would be later tonight, so everyone was either setting up traps, sharpening their swords, scoping out the forest, or making alliances.
"Hey, (Y/n)," Nico smiled, looking up from his book.
"Wait! Stay like that. You look cute when you smile," You acknowledged.
"Cute enough to be your boyfriend?" He asked not-so-innocently.
"We've been through this before, I already have a boyfriend."
"I have a game of Monopoly with Leo later."
"So? What does that have to do with anything?" You asked.
"Oh, I thought we were listing things that we could cheat on," Nico replied.
You facepalmed a stood up. "How about I just leave now~"
"Okay, I'll just wait for my kiss then," Nico chirped, puckering his lips.
"You're gonna be waiting a long time, Neeks," you winked.
He sighed dreamily as he watched you walk away. "She's totally into me."
