We rushed outside, and saw millions of Greek monsters, and a large purple giant attacking New York.

"Thanos." Thor murmured. Me and Will nodded at each other, a silent proclamation of our love passed through our eyes briefly, before we summoned hoods, and masks made of shadows and light. Will pulled out his bow, glowing slightly. I summoned out my sword from the shadows, my aura darkening slightly. We went back to back, killing monsters left and right. Thor joined in from the sky, and bolts of vibrant lightning shot down from the heathens, destroying monsters with a single blow. The other pulled out their weapons, and Bruce turned into the Hulk.

Other heroes started fighting. Spider-Man swung from roof top to roof top, tossing dropped weapons to the Avengers, and causing chaotic distractions. AntMan was growing, stomping on the monsters, and then causing Ants to swarm monsters. I even think I saw a talking Raccoon, tree, and some other green, and blue people along with a human - looking man appear in a spaceship. Good aliens, perhaps? Who cares; they're fighting, and helping us win.

I fought fiercely, and made my way to the enemy. Thanos saw me getting close, and called upon a new wave if monsters. I growled in frustration as the enemies on the battlefield multiplied. The Avengers were getting overrun, and I wasn't going to be able to defeat them.

"FOR OLYMPUS!" A familiar voice shouted.

"FOR OLYMPUS!" Hundreds of children bombarded the monsters, and the Avengers were freed. I saw them grin at us as we slashed at the monsters. I smirked, and used the shadows to destroy whole legions of monsters.

Thanos looked at us, a scowl crossed his face, and suddenly it was marred by an arrow. He jerked back as it embedded itself into Thanos' face. I saw Will holding his bow. Thanos made eye contact with us.

"Perhaps," Thanos smirked, "An older enemy would keep you busy." Suddenly Kronos was approaching, and I could sense Luke's soul screaming. I glared at Thanos. It was then I noticed the despairing look in Kronos' eyes, and in the eyes of the monsters.

"Will." I warned, "I think Thanos is using Kronos, and the monsters." I saw Thanos smiling gleefully. I realized something in that moment. Thanos had been the cause of centuries of torment. He was the true evil. The eldest evil. I called the other Avengers, and informed them of the situation. Thanos was going down.

Five well known heroes, Will, and I stood in front of the purple giant. I stared at the bulky figure in front of us. I looked at Will, and decided that, no matter what, I would remain a hero. Despite all of my grudges, despite my tears, and despite my terror, I would remain loyal to the universe, and protect it every way I can. Suddenly there was a large winged figure in front of me, and time was at a standstill The figure landed, and I saw her eyes, filled with wisdom, knowledge. and love. I could practically see stars in her ebony hair, and her long black dress. I knelt, and she made me stand.

"Nico Di Angelo." Chaos stated, "You have earned my respect. You have proven your allegiance to the universe, and all of my creations. Your boyfriend, Will Solace," at this Will snapped out of whatever trance he'd been in, "Has proven his allegiance to you. Therefore, since you wish to protect the universe, and Will has planned to follow you, I, Chaos, Creator of the Universe, will give you both my full blessing."

Will and I looked at each other, and knew our answer.

"Thank you, m'lady." I smiled, and Chaos sent loads of energy into our bodies. We somehow remained conscious, and Chaos smiled, before disappearing. Time unfroze, and we grinned at the startled Avengers. I somehow knew they had seen the whole thing. Thanos growled, and Will and I shot a blast of energy at the giant. He didn't have time to move before he was blasted back.

"Will!" I shouted, "Distraction time!"

Will started distracting Thanos, and I made a bomb with the same energy we'd used to blast Thanos away. I handed it to Tony. Tony grinned as he heard the plan.

As Will shouted insults, to which the mad titan responded with more insults, Tony threw the bomb into his mouth. Thanos accidentally swallowed. Steve, Natasha, Clint, and Tony got all the citizens to back up as Thor, Will, and I blasted Thanos with godly energy from below. He went soaring into the sky, where he blew up. Pieces of ash floated down around us.

"THAT WAS AWESOME!" Clint shouted excitedly. I jumped. His eyes widened in surprise.

"I SCARED HIM!" He celebrated, "I DID IT!" The demigods had left. Me and Will had successfully stayed off their radar.

As I glance around at my panting team of misfit heroes, I smile, because despite my terrifying appearance, I am glad to have friends. I grinned wider, and Will hugged me.

"What about that kiss?" I ask Will. Will grinned.

"It's happening right now." Will presses his lips to mine, and I kiss back. The world washed away, and I smiled. Will was my soul mate, and now that I've found him, I'm never letting anyone take him away from me.

"I love you, Sunshine." I smile.

"I love you, too, Ghostie." Will grins. I smile at him, content with my existence. At long last, I have found where I belong; on the Avengers team in the Avengers tower.

And I wouldn't have it any other way.
