as the ground shook. I could hear campers cheering from afar, which means our team must've gotten the flag.
Which also means no one will save me from my death.
"I didn't mean to!" I blurt out
Nico sneered, "What sort of spell were opting for?"
I looked offended, "Did you just assume I failed my spell?"
"Am I not right?" He cocked an eyebrow, his voice going calm and so did the shaking of the ground. I was relieved for a second.
My shoulder's slumped down, "You're right,"
"You haven't answered my question!" The earth shook again.
"I don't know!" I sputtered, as I held my fingers fiddling with them.
"What do you mean, you don't know?" He hissed, zeroing his eyes on me.
I gulped, "I had no idea what sort of spell I was trying. I forgot,"
"You what?! What sort of daughter of Hecate forgets their own spells?!?" He accused
"I'm new!" I defended
Nico's rage worsened and before I knew it I was falling. But, before I completely fell, he muttered something under his breath and the ground sealed shut.
Technically, my upper body was still here, in Camp Half Blood. But my lower body, which I could barely feel was somewhere...else. I didn't even want to know.
Instead of crying, which was something very normal to me, I had the urge to argue with the son of Hades even more. It enraged me to think he trapped me here.
"Let me go!" I struggled but of course was of no use. I had become one with the ground.
Nico's eyes glowed, "I'll think about it,"
"I swear I'm going to curse you the moment I get out of here!" I cursed, my head feeling hot.
Nico glared at me, "Then I'll never let you out,"
"You can't do that!" I wailed
He snickered, "Yes, I can—" But he was interrupted by his own series of coughing fits.

My eyes widened and my jaw slacked, Nico wasn't just coughing. He was coughing glitter.
He turned to me with fire in his eyes, "You better undo the spell or else,"
"I can't if you won't let me out!" I barked back
He paused for a moment before sighing and opening the ground again. But before I could fall into the pits of hell, Nico's hand clasped on my arm, preventing me from falling.
And he hauled me up, he did it while keeping his balance which was impressive.
All of Nico di Angelo was impressive. He could raise the dead, travel through shadows, he was equally equipped with amazing abilities and the skills to fight, if only his personality had a pint of sunshine, I'd honestly worship him. I've never met such a demigod who radiated such an aura. An aura of power.
"Undo.the.spell" Nico said through gritted teeth.
I pressed my lips together, going quiet.
Nico groaned, "What now?"
"My siblings can help you," I stated, walking away from him.
Nico caught my tattered camp shirt from behind, preventing me from walking away. I looked behind him and gave him a stink eye but that didn't seem to work on him.
Oh right, he's a demigod and he's the son of Hades. There must be other frightening things than a five feet tall magician.
"You did the spell, aren't you the only one who can undo it?" He asked
"I never said anything about my siblings undoing the spell. They'll teach me how to," I say confidently and he let go of my shirt. I started walking away again, but before I knew it, Nico was walking beside me.
"If there was a test for being Hecate's child, you'd fail it," Nico hummed as he picked up my sword that was laying a few feet away above the hill before handing it to me.
"How can you do an act of kindness and be a jerk at the same time?" I muttered while putting the two feet sword back to it's sheath, but I'm sure he heard me.

"And plus, I told you already. I'm a newbie. I came to camp three weeks ago," I added, kicking a pebble.
The night was young, and we started to come across other campers. But I haven't seen my siblings anywhere yet. They must be celebrating.
Campers gave glances towards Nico, and it seemed to worsen Nico's mood even more.
"How on earth did you get to camp at that age?" Nico grumbled
"I stayed mortal as long possible, because I couldn't accept my fate that I was a half blood" I answered him. Something I've admitted too many times to count.
Nico raised an eyebrow, glancing at me "And you didn't die?"
"My mother protected me," I say, embarrassed.
The rest of our walk was silent. But I liked the silence every once in a while, especially when the son of Hades wasn't trying to kill me. Everyone spared glances at Nico but they didn't dare say anything in front of him, afraid they'd be sent to hell alive.
When I spotted Lou and the others cheering their hearts out for winning, I approached her but Nico held me back. I looked at him with a confused look.
He shook his head, "I don't want to be seen,"
I was going to ask for he was already seen by other campers but I figured he just didn't want to be seen and get called out. So, standing away from the crowd I called out to her.
"Lou!"
She turns back and smiles at me but her smile falters when she sees Nico. Next thing you know she's sprinting towards us with Keira behind her.
"Oh my gods, Treya! What happened to you, Nico?" Lou gasped, taking a closer look at Nico.
"She happened," Nico grumbled, pointing at me.
I look at Lou apologetically, "Before you scold me, it was an act of defense. Nico was going to kill me, and you guys didn't come for me!"
Lou crossed her arms, "Explain,"
"Like I said, Nico was going to kill me. He summoned the undead which was honestly cool- not the point, he was gonna kill me and I just chanted something that I memorized from the spell book. And voila, we have one sparkly son of Hades!" I say optimistically but Lou only face palmed, Keira had her hand over her mouth and Nico was scowling at me.
Lou looked at Nico with pity, "Let's go to the cabin, the undoing of the spell should be in the book,"
When we got to the cabin, Nico looked around before nodding his head. "It's just like my cabin, I thought because you had this doof," Nico pointed at me "I thought your cabin would be horrible"
I rolled my eyes, "We benefit more from the dark,"
Lou took out the book of spells that was a replica of Hecate's. It belonged to my other sister, Circe, but stuff happened and now we take custody of the spell book. It worked the same as the original anyway.
"Treya, can you say the first line of the spell for me?" Lou asked and I did as she told me.
For a moment she calmly flipped the pages but then she furiously started flipping page after page and her face morphed into a panicked one.
"How many lines were there?" She asked in a shaky tone.
"Um, six" I answered
When she turned to the last page, her eyes were wide as saucers.
"What's wrong?" I asked, worried that she didn't find the spell.
Lou Ellen turned to us with a worried look, "There's no such spell in the spell book,"

Re:The Worst System Leveling Turned Me Into A Zombie
Before I reached Lvl. 100, they called me Death God Hei. But when I broke the limit, the System punished me. It cursed me to become this monster. I woke up as a Lvl. 0 again. Dying only brings me back to a save point now. But I don't go back until I die twice. First I suffer as a human, then I hunger as a zombie. The worst part is...I still have to watch when that thing takes over my corpse. I call it the Gray. I can't do anything even when it's hunting down those I'm trying to save. Sometimes, I wonder. When I level, I swear I can hear a voice speaking to me. This thing...can it think? It's like Re:zero crossed with SAO, Solo Leveling, and Tokyo Ghoul Re:The Worst System is a dark, 1st person timeloop story where the main character is slowly driven insane by his ability to respawn at a save point. However, each time he levels, there's a possibility that the next time he dies, the zombie inside him will become too powerful for anyone to stop. So he has to level up a harem...ahem, others, to fight for him against the System. Oftentimes, Hei will get trapped in repeating death loops which are truly terrifying. You've been warned...please don't read if you're not willing to see the darkness all the way through. The light on the other side may be a long ways away...I'll be trying to post on Thurs/Sundays, but honestly, depending on how I'm feeling, chapters could come out at some wonky times. Man of Earth
Magic is a terrifying force. Logic itself is subject to this energy, which is (logically speaking) impossible for us to comprehend. Every universe requires some version of magic to exist. That is, all but one. Our world functiouns based on a powerful and intricate net of laws that act independently from magical interference. The most notable of these is the human brain, which is capable of even more than its creator had thought possible. Naturally, this prompted the question: "How would a human fare in a world of magic?" Soon, there was a bet. Next, a human was selected. Finally, an odd young man with a strange black hat was introduced to his new world, and all restraints were removed.

The Hand of Sigmar. A Warhammer Fiction.
Adebar von Bolstedt was a normal young Aristocrat once. Third son of the middling von Bolstedt line of Altdorf, capital of the prestigious Empire at the heart of the Old World, but when a quarrel with his brother escalates he decides to leave his pampered home, and soon finds himself stranded in the countryside. When confronted about his presence he claims to be led by the God-King Sigmar, but with the name of the Protector of Mankind come his responsiblities. Soon Adebar finds himself tasked with ridding a town of a mad killer, and settling some lethal family quarrels.Word from the AuthorGreetings! The Hand of Sigmar plays out in the much beloved Warhammer Fantasy setting (owned, of course, by Games Workshop). Do not fret, however, as I've made it a point to make the story digestible even to the uninitiated, and maybe even be a good introduction to the setting. This work will be shorter overall, partly because its born out of a sudden passion, partly because I thought I'd try my hand at a more comfortable story than the grim darkness of the 41st Millenium (psychotic murderer and fraudulent holyman included). Depending on how this does and my time allows more adventures may be coming. While I cannot claim the places, concepts and gods etc. mentioned within as my own, the story and all characters flowed from my own fingers.
