《pixie dust | nico di angelo ✔️》twenty seven - Nico meets his worst enemy

Nico fell asleep immediately and his dreams appeared before him again. Over the time that he's been haunted by dreams, he could slowly control them, although passing by the Hypnos Cabin back at Camp Half Blood was inevitable, his other dreams were possible.
This time his dreams were nice. He was at Camp Jupiter. He saw Hazel and Frank, who were leading the legion. Their voices powerful and stern.
Nico couldn't help but smile, they've come a long way since they were in the previously known shabby Fifth Cohort.
His dreams shifted, and it took him back to the past. The first time he'd actually met his companion, Treya Shaw. Hazel had previously blabbered to him that he was supposed to be Treya's tour guide but he escaped.
When they ate dinner, Treya would often look at them. He didn't really know why, but now he knew that she was actually just friends with Hazel.
"She's Hecate's daughter," Hazel mentioned, as they were trying to get some shut eye, it was always like this. When Hazel visited Camp Half Blood or if Nico visited Camp Jupiter, they'd always have quality time for each other.
Sometimes he'd forget that even though Hazel was technically older than him, Hazel died when she was around thirteen, and when he brought her back, Nico was already fourteen. He'd forget that she was supposed to be his younger sister, because Hazel was mature. You'd wonder how she's Praetor, but Nico knew his sister was a great leader.
"She's really nice," Hazel said, as she talked about Treya who would always hang around Hazel.
"When I go back to Camp Jupiter, it would be nice if you befriend her. She already thinks you're the coolest demigod here," His sister laughed.
"I'll try," Nico simply replied but although he was already getting used to living at Camp, and sometimes taught younger demigods how to fight with a sword, he didn't really like strangers that much. He was afraid that the newer demigods would be scared of him.
Then the dream shifted, and he woke up. He still wanted to sleep but he felt someone flick his forehead, so he woke up to specifically scold Treya because he knew that it would've been her if nobody else.
And he was right. It was Treya with her hair in a ponytail, looming over him with a frown. "Get up!" She hissed. Nico knew that whenever Treya would practice her magic, she'd tie her hair into a ponytail to prevent accidents for her hair. Nico thought it was crazy, but it was Treya, what was new?

"What's the matter? Are there monsters? How long was I asleep?" Nico muttered as he rubbed his eyes awake.
"No monsters, and you were asleep for fifteen hours. It's five in the morning right now," Treya quickly answered and faced towards the entrance of the cave, laughed nervously and gave a short bow.
"He's awake now, sorry for that," Treya sheepishly smiled
"It's alright," The voice in front Treya said and that voice was so familiar, he shot up so quickly, his head hurt.
He then turned to the voice and glared. The ground slightly shook and the fire Treya had struggled to make went out.
Treya put her hand on his shoulder, "Hey, calm down," She said her eyebrows crossing together, as if she was confused. And of course she was confused, she had no idea what had happened in the past with his encounter with him.
Nico listened to her, but was still glaring at him.
"What are you doing here Eros?" He growled
The man only laughed, the god of love seemed so amused, as usual.
"No reason in particular," He answered, and put the fire again.
Nico tightened his grip on the hilt of his sword, ready to attack the god but Treya's hand loomed over his hand that held his sword and gently squeezed it. Treya looked at him with concern, she didn't say anything because she was afraid that she might offend the god but her eyes were talking to her.
It'll be okay, her eyes seemed to show. Nico was so sure that she wasn't manipulating the mist, and he trusted her, so he lowered his guard down by a little bit.
"Why are you really here? We have nothing we want from you," Nico asked
"I was close by, saw some demigods and it turns out it's my lovely friend Nico di Angelo!" Eros cheered. Ever since they met Apollo, Nico thought Treya would gush over every god or goddess that they met. Nico thought wrong, Treya kept giving him sideway glances, showing that she was not comfortable with him.
Oh you know, just two demigods and the god of love hanging around an underground cave in the nearby cemetery. Completely normal.
"But I'm here for her, Eretria Shaw, right?" He asked, his eyes gleamed even with the lack of light.
Treya looked taken aback, but she composed herself "Yes, but I go by Treya"
Nico patted her shoulder, and she looked at him "Don't listen to him, he'll torment you. We should go," Nico advised

"No" The god of love boomed and suddenly they were trapped in the cave.
"Nico?!" Treya asked, it was now dark and Treya absolutely hated the dark.
It made Treya panic, Nico instantly thought of how Treya despised the dark, and found her hand in the darkness, holding it tightly.
"I'm here," Nico said, his voice gentle
He heard Treya sigh in relief, and leaned her head on his shoulder, trying to calm her breathing. He didn't push her away, instead he held her hand tighter. Nico felt jittery, but suddenly the god laughed. His laughter, his voice, no even just his presence managed to make Nico feel sick.
He'll never forgive the god of love for humiliating him. All was cool between him and Percy, but he could never forget the fear and humiliation he felt when the god of love pressured him to blurt out his crush on the son of Poseidon.
"I smell fear, is this your fear Eretria?" Eros asked, and Nico flinched. He still wasn't so used to hearing Treya's actual name.
"No," Treya managed, but her voice wavered.
"I'm the god of love, what is it that you feel for the son of Hades?" His voice was like surround sound speakers, it was everywhere. Nico attempted to shadow travel him and Treya away, but it was no use. There was thick magic that prevented them to get away. The god of love just loved tormenting people, it made you think what sort of love god he was.
Nico gritted his teeth as he felt Treya's hand shake.
"Don't listen to him, don't answer him. We'll figure out to get out of here," Nico said, reaching out his other hand to softly stroke her hair. He started thinking about summoning the undead, if it were possible but his thoughts were ripped apart by Eros when he spoke again.
"I'll let you go if you say it," Eros pressed on, laughing a little.
"I-I..." Treya faltered, and she slowly detached herself from the son of Hades.
Nico knew how it felt. To be tormented by someone like Eros. Nico also knew how she felt, and it made him feel guilty. But his hand had gone cold when Treya pulled away from him and a part of him felt odd.
"I- I may be- I- I can't-" Treya stuttered
"I think I'm catching feelings for..." She trailed off, and Nico felt her eyes on him despite everything being pitch black.
"Come on girlie! The sun will rise soon!"
It was as if Eros fed on people's misery. Nico met Akhlys back in Tartarus, and if Nico had to compare this guy was way worse than the goddess of misery itself.
But suddenly Nico felt a surge of power from the shadows. Nico saw Treya glowing faint purple, as she looked afraid. Nico was gonna surge forward to her, but suddenly Treya smirked and looked at him with alert.
"I managed to break a small part of his barrier, we should go! Now!" She held out her hand, and he quickly took it.
"YOU DARE FOOL ME WITH YOUR LITTLE ILLUSIONS GIRLIE?!" Eros yelled and the shadows were out of my reach again. But Nico was impressed, even he was fooled my the massive amount of mist Treya casted.
Treya let out a little laugh that Nico found cute even if she was taunting the god of love.
"I like Nico," Treya admitted "But he's already shown me signs that he wasn't interested and that's totally fine, because a heartbreak isn't gonna kill me Eros,"
The shadows called out to Nico again, and this time, they plunged towards the shadows.
Nico met countless of demigods. Dead or not, he'd never met a demigod who still managed to look cool even if her voice cracked and even if she announced her own heartbreak.
They rolled over a patch of grass, and Nico lost her grip on Treya. Nico immediately stood up, despite feeling tired, and looked for the girl, deathly afraid he might've put him on an accidental limbo.
Nico sighed thankfully, spotting the girl a couple meters away from him.
On the other side of the patch of grass, Treya laid still with her lower arms covering her eyes. Nico panicked a little because he almost thought that she was dead but he noticed that if Treya died, he'd immediately see her ghost.
Nico took a step closer but Treya stopped him by raising a hand, "Wait," Her voice cracked again, and Nico finally noticed that she didn't want him to go to her.
"Please give me a minute," Treya asked, her voice trembling but Nico saw. There were lights all around and he saw it glistening against the light.
He saw her crying.
Nico liked to think that Treya was like a child of Ares, because sometimes she could be so fierce and the stunt she pulled on Eros was so good, but even so, Eros managed to pull one little last trick on her.
He tugged on her heartstrings and that would mean Treya would feel an overwhelming emotion of a broken heart.
Nico stumbled back, wondering if Eros had also tugged on his heartstrings because all of the sudden his heart was in pain and the air seemed so cold and sorrowful even if the sun and its warmth started rising again

Dungeons Are Bad Business
Vee Vales has been kicked out of his home and directed to make his own way in the world. Along with his friend Alforde Armorsoul, Vee travels to the city of Oar's Crest. Once a prosperous and well-to-do city, Oar's Crest has fallen into depression and disrepair. After finding a strange stone that takes up residence in a tattered top hat and introduces itself as Reginald, Vee and Alforde decide to open a dungeon in Oar's Crest to revitalize the city and, more importantly, make some fleurs. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Author's Note: Dungeons are Bad Business (DABB) is a slow burn slice-of-life dungeon core litRPG citybuilder that's focused on the day to day experience of running a dungeon. There will be some action, but it won't be the focus of the story and Vee and his friends will usually overcome their problems with their minds and their pocketbooks instead of their weapons. Since I'm participating in the writeathon, I will probably be uploading chapters almost daily for the duration of the event. Thanks for reading!

Rune
In the world of Rune, there are two kinds of Players. The Crafters, and the Fighters. Fighters level their magic power, fueling the runic items from their own bodies, while crafters use the runes they bring back to develop powerful items using their knowledge of the electronic-like system. Not everything stays that simple, though, and Rune is no exception. Within each region, a number of guilds have sprung up, operating as the unaccountable vanguard of defense for the besieged cities. They don't care to deal fairly, and nobody else has the power to do much about it. (Harem is tagged but it's honestly polyamory. I hate the word harem but given that some people would interpret it as such, in it goes.)

Superhuman Magus is a title that is based on a concept. Can't say more as it's a spoiler. I prefer the first title but it's just that the current title might attract more people. First title didn't make the novel seem like it's fantasy based. >>Motivation to create Novel: I created this novel to implement the vast imaginations I had while I was not creating a novel. So, there will be a lot of extreme imaginations. Most of these imaginations can only be implemented afterwards as it's a story. So it will take a while.
