When Jethen was captured by slavers, his childhood was torn from him and left shattered half a world away. When he finds himself back home decades later, by methods he does not fully understand, he finds that the life he has lived has changed him far more than he knew. In a home he no longer knows. Places and people at the same time familiar and foreign, he must decide - stay and help with his parent's business, or return to the land that remade him and the family he made there. --------- Homecoming started as just a short story to break an episode of writers block. It has since morphed well beyond that into a novel in it's own right, and may well end up with a sequel. The writing of Homecoming became a bit of a self induced challenge to improve my initial, first brush, writing quality. Each chapter was written raw, given a once over read and edit, and then posted. In this way I am forcing myself to write better from the start. I do hope you enjoy the story and will leave a comment or review, and if you see an issue, feel free to let me know as well. I know it is not nearly perfect, and it will get a full and proper edit once I am done. Never hurts to fix things along the way though. As an additional note. The story has undergone a structural rework and has been reposted in an updated structure and sequence of chapters. “Ohgun's Chronicles” revolves around a blacksmith-apprentice with a troubling past, Roy Wielder. Driven by dreams of acquiring a workshop of his own, Roy reluctantly leaves his hometown running from consequences to the west where he faces hardships in the form of humans and Derelicts a mysterious species that mimic the appearance of whatever organic life they consume. They've cloaked themselves in a thick, dark magical aura that protects there husk, while they ravage towns absorbing citizen enlarging in size with every consumption. A recent spike in Derelicts has sparked a rise in the need for Nims; hunters that destroy Derelicts and claim bounties on rogues. However, with Derelict numbers continuing to rise, most kingdoms have begun to seek out the aid of specially equipped Nims carrying Ohgun Craft weapons. These weapons, forged in a time stolen from recollection, possess unique abilities and are immensely powerful. This is where our story begins, following Roy and his allies, known, and not yet discovered, when by chance Roy recovers a Ohgun Craft weapon of his own. Our hero is flung into a series of conspiracies that all seem to revolve around him, plans that set into play a chain of events that threaten to destroy the world as they know it.

For Justice
Years ago people started to develop superpowers in Japan for an unknown reason. At first, they were thought to be infected, but that didn't appear to be the case. Some saw it as the next step in human evolution and referred to them as a blessing. These individuals were often targetted and harassed for their "gifts" eventually things got out of hand and they started to form terrorist groups to fight back against the humans. In order to control this imbalance a superhero organization called Justice was formed. Justice is led by a rowdy woman named Yun and within the group lies Higashi an aspiring young man who has a strong determination to prove himself as the true leader of the group. The two often butt head and create inner conflict amongst themselves which makes stopping the criminals they fight that much harder. Follow them on their journey to promote safety and balance along the world and fight the opposing ideas of some of their greatest enemies while also trying to keep up their social life!
