"You have a very interesting family Zayn." Harry spoke, while tying his hair up in a bun.
"I know." I smiled, stretching out.
We've been waiting for about an hour.
Beatrix had called and asked us if we were okay, about three times.
"I'm going to text Beatrix." I said, pulling out my phone which was about 45% battery.
She replied right away.
I smiled and texted back thank you.
"Harry just 8 more minutes."
Harry didn't say anything.
"What?" I asked, sitting back down beside him.
"It was kind of.. Interesting experience." Harry changed his sentence quickly.
"Interesting indeed." I grinned.
Eight minutes later, we were out and Harry's parents were outside in the lounge room.
Jade had texted me and said she'd come pick me up as soon as I was out, so while Harry was talking to his parents, I texted Jade to tell her to come get me.
When Jade came, she told me she was outside and I said my goodbyes to everyone and told them I'd be back on Sunday - as Louis' party was tomorrow.
"Wow, you were locked in the elevator with a pretty cute boy." Jade stated, motioning to Harry who was walking out of the retirement home with his parents.
"Jade!" I groaned, closing the car door after getting in and putting my seatbelt on.
"What? Just look at him, beautiful green eyes, nice little body, curly hair. Look at that smile! Oh my goodness the dimples! What more could you ask for minus being locked in the elevator with him!" Jade breathed, looking at Harry who was smiling at his parents.
"Jade your dating Niall." I rolled my eyes.
Jade giggled. "I know, sorry. I was talking Harry for you."

I ignored Jade's comment. "What did mum cook for dinner?"
"Haven't gotten home yet. I was at Niall's." Jade spoke, starting the car and pulling out of the retirement home parking lot.
"Cool. Louis is having a birthday party for his boyfriend tomorrow." I turned the radio on quietly.
"He's got a boyfriend?!" Jade exclaimed. "Louis has got a boyfriend, and you haven't yet?! I thought you two did everything together. Wow."
I shook my head. "The right person hasn't come along."
"Harry isn't right?" Jade smirked. "I already love the idea of you two together wow."
"Jade stop." I blushed, looking out the window and away from Jade.
"No I'm not going to stop until you two get together!" Jade giggled.
"Stop it Jade. We're not."
The rest of the ride home, Jade only talked about Harry.
And throughout that ride, the butterflies didn't seem to leave my stomach every time she mentioned Harry.

I went over to Louis' house early to help him set up for Liam's surprise party.
"Liam asked me why you blocked him." I chuckled, handing Louis the Happy Birthday ribbon which he taped up above the door.
"You better not have told him." Louis grabbed the tape, and even though he was on a ladder he still had to stand on his tip toes.
"No I didn't goodness." I rolled my eyes, walking towards the little bar that Louis set up and sitting down.
"Good." Louis climbed down, and walked into his large kitchen where he pulled guacamole, salsa, and other assorted dips out, handing them to me.
"Go put them on the table. You know which one. I'll bring the chips." I nodded, taking the dips and bringing them out to the table which was beside the bar.

After Louis and I set up, all of Louis' guests showed up, everyone waiting for Liam's arrival.
I wasn't really waiting for Liam.
I was waiting for Harry.
I stood by the bar sipping a soda and watching people dance to the loud dance music that was playing.
I watched the door, every time it opened I became a little anxious.
Finally, Harry arrived with Eleanor and Dani.
I straightened my posture, and fixed my leather jacket a little. "Hi Harry." I waved.
Harry turned right away, and smiled.
Eleanor whispered something to Harry and he shook his said saying something back.
After that, Eleanor and Dani made their way to the basement.
"Hi Zayn." Harry grinned at me, sitting down on one of the bar stools.
"What was Eleanor saying?" I asked, casually.
"She was just asking me something, that's all.." Harry sighed, turning towards me.
I nodded, taking another sip of my soda. "Okay."
Harry watched me, a smile grew on his face.
"Why are you smiling?" I blushed, looking away.
"No I wasn't." Harry's cheeks went red as well.
We had a problem with blushing.
"Yes you were though." I looked up at the curly haired boy who was fiddling with the hem of his t shirt.
Harry licked his lips. "I wasn't." He moved his hair out of his face and sighed.
"You were blushing as well." I smirked, and Harry pushed me playfully.
We both cracked up, then I exhaled. "You're pretty cool."
Harry tried to cover up his smile. "You too."

I was just like everyone else. At least, I thought so. Everyone grew up in a mansion with servants, trained to be a debutante, had a traveling archeologist for a father, and gave it all up to do whatever the hell they wanted. Right? Well that’s what I did. I was happy. As happy as a single twenty four year old girl can be living in an apartment selling shit online to pay the bills. Not actual shit, that's gross. No, I bought stuff from garage sales, thrift stores, and junk shops, and resold it in my online store. I was pretty good at finding stuff to peddle to my customers. I made rent every month and didn’t have to strip. I’m a bit too chunky to swing around a pole anyway. Life was great! Until two sexy men broke into my apartment and woke me up from the most erotic dream my sexually depraved mind could come up with. One was between my legs, the other was... Oh well, it was a dream and I didn’t even get to finish it. Those bastards! Now I’m supposed to believe my dead father wasn’t an archeologist, but some kind of paranormal agent working for a secret organization called The Guard. My ability to find items for my customers is just a perk inherited from him. And I’m supposed to use my inherited powers to save the world. All while these hunks of man flesh guard me from other paranormals out to get whatever the hell they think I have. A certain body part is dripping with excitement, literally. But my mind is saying “Hell No!”
