Gemma and I sat waiting for Harry's call but it never came so we thought everything was okay. We decided to wait on the couch for them to come home, safe and healthy. Suddenly we heard the door open and as we both turn to see Harry and Zayn, the smiles on our faces soon disappeared. It was Harry, only Harry: eyes red from crying.

I run up to him and pull him in a hug as sobs escape him. I pull away looking into his eyes, "what happened baby?"

He took a moment to gather himself, "he-he was in an accident. A bad one" he manages to say through his cries.

I pulled him back into a hug and Gemma joins. We stayed there for a good 2-3 minutes letting Harry get his emotions out before I break it apart.

"Baby, sit down" I say, leading him towards the couch. "What exactly happened?"

"The nurse said that the driver was drunk going around 70 mph and ran a red light. It was a hit and run, they have fingerprints from the car they left. They hit the driver side, right where he was at and he needs surgery ma" he lifts his head looks at me, "they, they don't know if he's going to make it" he manages to say before the cries escape him once again, this time they were powerful and loud.

"Oh hunny, come here" I say, pulling him into a tight hug. I soon realize that Gemma's nowhere in the living room. "Let's go to Gemma's room hun" I say getting up and Harry following behind me, still crying. I knock on the door before opening it to find Gemma sitting on her bed wiping the tears and in that very moment, seeing my kids cry, made me cry. I sat down and Harry sat next to me as we all let our cries out.

"It's gonna be okay, Zayn's a strong guy, he can make it through this, I promise."

"Mum" Harry says wiping the tears from my cheeks, "we have to tell his family, the boys, and Selena."

"You're right, lets do it."
