《A Mindful Relationship [Jensoo]》Chapter 4

"Jen, you seriously have to stop looking at the door from time to time or your neck will snap." Rosie grumbled on while checking her phone for something interesting. Because I tell ya, there is nothing interesting these days but the girl from yesterday of course.
I simply ignored Chaeyoung's words and checked up on the door again for the umpteenth time this morning. Receiving a sigh that only Park Chaeyoung can make it sound so sexy but I don't have time for that because I'm bothered by someone else.
"But actually, that won't be so bad." I shot her glare which she only ignored as well. "Two can play the game." That's what the smirk on her face tells.
I huffed in disappointment when another person, that I wasn't waiting for, entered the room. Chaeyoung's smirk grew wider at that. She's really enjoying this, isn't she?
"You waiting for that girl from yesterday?" She asked which made my body tense up. I really hope she did not see that. But judging by her smirk, she saw me.
There's no harm in telling her anyways but I do know that she'll tease me about this. There really isn't anything I can do but tell her because she knows me too well for my sake.
"Yes and what of it?"
"You seem very obsessed with this one and I tell you, your never like this honestly." Her smirk widened making me roll my eyes and cross my arms. Obsessed? Isn't she too extra?
"I'm not obsessed. I'm only curious of who this person is." I reasoned out but just as expected, she didn't look very convinced about what I said.
"So you wanna befriend her?" I unintentionally scoffed and looked at her with a look of disbelief. Me befriend? It's the other way around really.

"That'll come easily. No one can resist the charms of Jennie Kim." Call me arrogant, I don't care. But what I said is always in the book of facts. Like who can resist me?
"Keep saying that to yourself."
"It's true. Look." I called out to a group of girls and winked at them. The overexcited squeals I got from the group made me smirk at Chaeyoung. As if trying to tell her, "See?"
"Whatever you say but just so you know, you look like some idiot that is waiting for her crush to arrive." She rolled her eyes and a sigh escape her lips. Her eyes were now focused on her phone and I already know she'll only ignore me whenever she's on her phone.
"I do not."
"You do."
"Prove it."
She raised a brow at me, challenging me. I gave her a confident smirk before she did something that I know I regretted making her do.
"Why should I-. Wah! Hi there Lisa's friend!"
"Where?!" My head immediately whipped onto the direction of the door, almost breaking my neck at the process, to only see no one. Weirded out stares from the entire classroom and Chaeyoung's laughter were the only things I could hear and see right now.
Fucking embarrasing...
"Y-You should've seen your face! Your hopeless, Jen." She released a sigh right after that laughing exhibition she's done and I'm currently glaring at her because of the embarrassment she has set upon me.
"How dare you trick me, brat." I spatted at her and was about to hit her if it wasn't for her fast reflexes that blocked my hand from hitting her arm.
"Shush lady. Me and my soulmate are talking right now so stop nagging at me."

She pushed my face away and was smiling dopily while closing her eyes. Unbelievable. She's lovesick for Pete's sake.
Then I made a decision to ask her some things about this whole soulmate thing because obviously, I don't have one. The last phrase hurts.
"Answer my question first." I demanded. Shaking away those sad thoughts away for the meantime.
"What." Her eyes still closed, she responded.
"Do you know your soulmate's gender?"
"No I do not. And did you just ask that question?"
"Yes. I did. Go on."
"Unbelievable." She scoffed in disbelief. But I didn't mind that and gestured my hand for her to continue. She simply rolled her eyes before continuing on,
"People use their inner voices when talking to their partner. Mine always changes the tone of his/her voice. Sometimes my soulmate converses with me like a duck."
She even giggled while telling her story. This girl is insanely lovesick. If her eyes were to have anything to describe them, I'll illustrate them as heart eyes. She hasn't even met the person yet and she's speaking as if their already in a relationship.
"So you can change it?"
"Yes..?"
"Do you change it?"
"That's too many questions already, Kim."
"Just answer it!"
"Yes I do. But only because I'm still insecure about my voice." My eyes widened at her statement. The bratty Chaeyoung is actually not confident about herself? I guess, people do have a side of them that just surprises other people.
"You? Insecure?" I could almost laugh at her if it wasn't for my good side telling me not to because the girl in front of me looks very serious and upset at the same time.
"Yes." She timidly fiddled with the hem of her shirt and she had a cute pout on her face. She almost looked like an entirely different person, to be honest.
"Be lucky you'll hear me say this. Your voice sounds angelic and that's somehow your most noticeable charm." I avoided her bewildered face and focused on the books laid upon my table. I'm now too embarrassed to even look at the girl.
But I seriously had no reason to be. Or maybe I'm embarrassed because myself and Chaeyoung normally don't say nice things to each other. Like ever. Sometimes, I think, but it always had a double meaning. Ask Manoban for proof.
After about thirty seconds, she said something that made me snap my head back to her direction. I even blushed and I do not blush.
"Your soft for me."
"I am not!" I said defensively. Slamming the table in the process, earning some glances from the people around us. This normally happens now, does it?
"Yeah whatever. I'll be talking to my partner so shush now already."
"Lucky brat."
I then went back to doing my business which is waiting for the girl while reading some interesting books that can get my mind off of this specific girl.

Magriculture (Rewrite)
When Aurum Industries announced the first Full Immersion Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (FIVRMMORPG if you're hip) Limitless Online, most people saw it as an opportunity to live out their sword and sorcery fantasies. John, however, saw it as the opening of a new and as of yet uncrowded job market. One he was willing, and eager, to exploit. Determined to make money through virtual hard work and effort, John sets his sights not on the heights of magic or the perfection of the sword, but instead upon the tilling of the soil and the sowing of seeds as he explores the wide and wonderful world of magical agriculture all from the comfort of his own bed. Disclaimer: This is a rewrite of the original "Magriculture", which some of you may have read. (To those who did, you have my deepest gratitude, it is absolutely because of your patronage and comments that this rewrite happened, and I feel the story is better for it.) That said, this story is not a complete and polished work, there will be mistakes and errors, an occasionally these errors may mean I need to rewrite portions of the story (as of this posting the story has gone through two major rewrites already, and I'm seriously hoping there won't be need of a third.) Because of this, there may at times be changes. Such changes may be as small as editing a few numbers (such as going back and changing how much mana an object holds) or it may force me to re-write entire chapters (this has happened once already, and I'm really hoping it doesn't happen again, but... life). Minor re-writes will probably never be posted here. Major rewrites probably will. Anyway, what this boils down to is: If you're looking for a fully cohesive story with few to no errors and publisher level editing, this is not the story for you. If you're looking for a cohesive plot that's more than "Man farms, man farms, man farms well, man maybe makes money" you're probably also in the wrong place, but I will attempt to entertain you anyway.
