Tania had a lot of mixed feelings about meeting Egan. On one hand, she wanted to meet him but on the other hand, she was scared that he would not be satisfied with her status and background, not to mention the fact that she didn’t want to involve him in her troubles, and that is one of the reasons she never took the initiative to suggest they meet.

But now that Egan took the initiative to mention meeting up first, it showed that he had decided to take the next step in their relationship and decided to be serious.

“Egan, why are you so good? I always wanted to meet you, but I am scared of troubling you as you are so busy." I want to buy a new dress and buy some accessories and makeup to become prettier for you. Otherwise, who knows if you will think I’m too shabby and ugly for you?"

The boy on the opposite side smiled a little more and said warmly, "What are you afraid of? You succeeded in making ‘me' fall for you without even looking at your face, even if you look like a female toad, I’ll still raise you. So don’t be afraid."

The corners of Tania’s mouth couldn’t help but twitch when she heard his words. No matter whether it was the Egan who found her annoying or the one who found her lovely, both of their tongues were as poisonous as cyanide.

Listening to Tania humming so cheerily, even Egan’s mood improved a lot and he asked all of a sudden, "Do you want to learn a magic trick?"

“Really? What is it?” Tania stood up in excitement, her voice laced with elation.

Egan chuckled when he heard her bubbly voice from the other side and told her to listen carefully as he taught her how to chant the new spell for elevating in mid-air and Tania practiced it several times before mastering it quickly.

She took the basket of fallen leaves and the broom, went to find the old watchman who was guarding the mountain gate of the magic tower, and after handing him the basket of leaves and the broom, walked back to her dormitory under the light drizzle of the rain.

She was just a minor disciple of the Draíocht Tower. In these past years, only exclusive senior mage disciples can own a room of theirs, and rich minor disciples who can find the right connections and had enough money could afford a single room. The rest, poor ghosts like her, can only sleep in a dormitory which looked like a rip-off version of a haunted house, and six people had to squeeze in one cramped room.

When Tania sneaked into the room, everyone was already asleep. Tania took off her drenched shirt, and lay down quietly on her bed, covered herself with the thin quilt and whispered good night to her little lover and soon fell asleep.
