《Supergirl》Chapter 13

It was finally Saturday! It had rained all day and was dark out sadly. The party started at 4:00 and it was 3:00. Rick said he would pick me up at 3:30. I curled my hair and had Liz come over to do my makeup when my parents were out.
"Will your parents be coming home soon?" Liz asked we she did my eye shadow.
"They're going out for dinner. So not till six." I answered giving her a weird look. "Why do you care?" See what I mean? The girl's weirdness never ends.
"I just want to meet them." she said shaking her head. My friends usually didn't care to meet my parents. "Okay I'm done. Voila." she said as I turned around.
"Oh. My. Gosh!!! I love it, you did an amazing job." I yelled. She had put on foundation and then a matte lipstick that would go perfect with my dress. My cheeks were a little pink from blush. Lastly my eyes were smoky. The eyeliner was perfect and even.
"I'm glad you like it." Liz said doing a victory dance and attempting to crump. It was cringy. Like a couples first kiss cringy.
"Liz stop you're hurting my eyes."
"Wow that hurts." she faked cried putting a hand to her heart.
"Now Rick should be here any second. Get your dress and heels on."
I started getting reading putting on one of Liz's dresses. She is an amazing friend, lending me one of her own dresses. The dress is black with red. It looked amazing on me. Not to brag or anything. My heels were about 4 inches, but I had pretty good balance.
DING DONG
"That's the door." Liz said pushing me out. "Go get'm tiger."
I laughed at her and went down stairs to answer the door.
"Hey, Rick." I greeted. He was talking to Johnny beside him, so he turned to look at me.

"Hey Chri- whoa." he choked, his voice cracking on whoa. "You look nice." he said looking me up and down.
"You do too." I said looking at him. He was wearing a normal black suit with a red tie. His hair was disheveled and looked exactly like Nightwing.
Stop thinking about Nightwing Chris! I scolded myself. This was my night with Rick.
"Are you coming Kent?" Johnny whined as I just stood there thinking.
"Yeah, sorry." I replied walking to the limo.
"Why did he say Kent?" Rick questioned as we started moving.
"It's my last name." I answered giving him a questioning look.
"Oh, it's just ,uh, I know another Kent. So I've just heard the name before."
"Must be a coincidence. Because my dad is an only child." I answered shrugging my shoulders.
"You really look beautiful tonight." Rick added making me blush like an idiot the rest of the ride. I probably looked worse than an Eskimo that sat in the sun all day.
We pulled into the huge Wayne Manor driveway and an older man opened our door.
"Welcome to the Wayne Manor." the older man greeted. I smiled and nodded in return.
"'Sup Alfred." Rick said propsing who I assumed was his butler. Alfred propsed him awkwardly and I laughed at the awkwardness.
As we walked in Rick snaked his arm around me which I noticed he had never really touched me this way before. I smiled up at him as we walked in.
I looked at our surroundings and this place was beautiful. The room the ball was in was gold with white columns around the whole room. In the middle of the room there was a huge diamond chandelier. It was attached to the roof and the chain was pretty long. If my dad was here he would be pretty close to touching it. The floor was marble and smooth.
"This place is beautiful." I mentioned looking up at Rick, but I didn't have to look up by much.

When I noticed what I had said I expected Rick to say something like. 'Not as pretty as you.'
Or something, but he didn't. Lame.
"Would you like to dance?" Rick asked slightly bowing and holding out his hand.
"Of course." I answered putting my hand in his. A slower song was on and we went to the middle of the dance floor. I just simply put my arms around his neck and he put his hands on my hips.
"Crystal Kent. I like it." he said after awhile of comfortable silence. "It's catchy." he said making me laugh.
"You never knew my last name?" I questioned shaking my head.
"You never told me." he defended pulling me closer. We danced for about two more songs. "Do you want a tour of the mansion?"
"Sure." I answered smiling sliding my hands from his neck. We walked from the dance floor hand in hand.
"Where to first?" He asked and I shrugged. He showed me the first floor first and then the second floor.
"And finally my cave." He said chuckling. He opened the door to a spotless bedroom. Well he has a butler. The walls were painted navy blue and he had a giant flat screen TV on his wall.
"Nice." I say nodding sitting on his bed bouncing to see how cushy it is.
"I'm glad you like it." he said grabbing my hand and pulling me up. Both our hands intwined and we stared into each others eyes. He has amazing emerald green eyes that I could stare into for hours. Mine were just plain blue.
"Have I told you how beautiful you are?" He asked leaning in to kiss me. A pang of guilt hit me. How could I kiss him after I kissed NightWing. I couldn't be one of those girls who played two boys without choosing. I had to tell him before anything serious happens.
"Wait Rick, I have to tell you something." I whispered. He stopped right before we were just about to kiss me.
"What?" He whispered back opening his eyes to look at me.
"I better tell you this before anything happens, but I-I have been...ummmm."
"Just say it." he said sighing.
"I've been seeing someone." I said quickly and he just looked at me confused. That came out way wrong.
"What do you mean by that?"
"Every night I go and see this guy and I don't know if I like him or not and..." I trailed on. This is coming out worse every sentence.
"You've what?!" He hissed. "What is his name?"
"I can't tell you." I answered sheepishly.
"Right, you can't tell me." he said shaking his head. He sat down on his bed and put his head in his hands.
"I'm sorry... I better go." I whispered walking out of his room making my way downstairs. Coward.
"Crystal?" I heard someone say. I turn around to see Dillon standing there in a black suit with a black bow tie.
"Hey Dillon." I greeted with a small smile.
"How are you?" He asked walking closer.
"I'm alri-" I couldn't finish because I was drowned out by everyone's screams. The room filled with smoke and I heard a gun shot.
"Listen up!" I heard a raspy voice yell. "I'm here looking for someone and I need your coopera-... bingo." I heard him say, but couldn't see anything, I was looking around the room. All the sudden I felt a sting in my arm. Everything started to go blurry and I heard the raspy voice beside me. "Nighty night." he said. The last thing I remember is Dillon yelling my name...
