《Life of SuperGirl》School Day

Kara woke up early on Monday. She took a shower and brushed her real, and fake hair. She changed into some light blue jeans, and a white crop top with a black leather jacket. Then she grabbed her wig and placed it on her head and hid all the blonde hair. Kara then went to her dresser and applied mascara and some lip gloss that Dinah had given her. Then she put on her glasses and grabbed her backpack and ran downstairs.
"Morning Kara!" Martha Kent said.
"Morning Ma! Is Pa already working around the farm?" Kara asked sitting down.
"Yup. Here's some cereal." Martha replied placing down a ball of cereal infront of Kara.
"Okay...so..I can't fly, I can't fight, I can't lose my temper, and I can't...run?" Kara said
"Oh..um..you can run...but it has to be...at least..the third or second fastest in your class. You can't finish one lap in under a second." Martha said.
"And the others...?" Kara pushed as she used her speed to finish eating.
"No powers Kara. Only if you need too. And your glasses are lined with lead right?" Martha checked handing Kara a bag with her lunch in it.
"Yup. I can't X-ray anything unless I take my glasses off." Kara said.
Martha nodded and pushed Kara out the door.
"Bye!" She waved.
Kara waved and ran off the farm. She used a little bit of her speed to run faster and reach the school. Kara slowed down and walked in. She looked around and heard conversation of friends meeting each other after Summer Break. Kara walked into the school building and used her schedule to find her home room.
"Room 35b..." Kara muttered.
She looks up and the classroom and smiles.
"This is the one..." she mumbled.
Kara leaned against the wall and pulled out her phone. Martha had given her some blue tooth headphones and a power bank for her phone. Kara put on her headphones and played a song she was a fond of.

Kara looked around her and saw kids smirking and laughing with others. She spotted a group of boys looking at her.
"Who's the new chic?" One said.
Kara looked away and tried to turn off her super hearing but had no luck.
"She looks cool." She heard another boy said.
"Is he going to-"
A tap on her shoulder made her look up. A boy with light brown hair and brown eyes was next to her.
"Hey there." He said.
Kara stopped her music and took off her headphones. She put them around her neck and put her phone away.
"Um..hello." She said looking at him.
"Never seen you around. You new in Smallville?" He asked.
"Um..sort of." Kara answered.
"Named Bryan." The boy said extending his hand.
"Kara." Kara replied shaking the boy's hand gently.
"Cool name. But um..what middle school did you go to? I don't remember seeing you at Oakhill." Bryan said.
Kara blinked. She hadn't gone to a middle school.
"Oh um...this is my first year at um...a..school." Kara said slowly.
Bryan smiled.
"Homeschooled before?" He asked.
Kara nodded. She had heard the term before and loosely knew what it ment.
"I was homeschool before I started School three years ago." Bryan told her.
"Oh. Well...mind helping me out a bit?" Kara asked.
"Sure. Let me see your schedule." He said.
Kara handed him her schedule and watched as Bryan read it. He handed it back to her smiling.
"I've got all the same classes. Just chill with me. And during Lunch why don't you meet my sisters friends...she'll understand homeschooling." Bryan informed her.
"Oh..is she in tenth grade?" Kara asked thinking the girl was a year older than them.
"Nope. She's my twin. So she's in a few of your classes. I'll introduce you to during Lunch." Bryan laughed.

A loud ringing filled Kara ears and she put her hands to her ears.
"That's the bell. It's pretty loud. Don't worry, you'll get used to it." Bryan said putting his hand on Kara shoulder.
Kara felt her face heat up and she nodded and followed Bryan into the classroom. Bryan sat down and Kara sat down beside him, and class started.
Kara walked with Bryan to a table.
"Miya! This is Kara..she's new." Bryan said to a girl with brown hair and light brown eyes.
The girl stood up and smiled and Kara.
"Hello. I'm Miya..Bryan's twin sister." She said.
"Hi." Kara said.
Bryan whispered into Miya's ear, "she was homeschooled before this year. Treat her nicely."
Kara smiled at the soft and understanding gaze of the girl.
"Come on Kara. Meet my friends." Miya said.
"Later Kara. See you next period." Bryan waved.
Kara waved and followed Miya to the table. Miya motioned her to sit down next to her. Kara sat down and stared at the girls who were staring at her.
"Who's this Miya?" A girl asked.
"This is Kara. She's a new girl in our school. She's my new friend." Miya said.
"Kara eh? I like your name." Another girl said.
"Thanks. Your all very beautiful." Kara complimented
The girls all smiled.
"Girl! Have you looked into a mirror? Your stunning!" One girl exclaimed.
Kara shrugged but smiled. There were five girls including Kara and Miya. The girls talked and all became quick friends with Kara.
"Bye Kara!" A girl said standing with two others.
"Bye, Lyla, Christina, and Bloom." Kara waved to the three girls who had sat with her during lunch.
"Hey K!" Bryan's voice Calle snaking her turn around.
"Oh hey Bryan." Kara said.
"Want me to walk you home?" Bryan asked.
"I live pretty far...like out in the farm lands...I live on a farm..." Kara explained.
Bryan nodded but smiled.
"My grandparents own a farm. It's cool. Later K." He said.
Bryan pulled her into a hug and kissed her cheek causing Kara to blush.
"B-Bye..." She said as he let go and walked away.
Kara turned on her heel her face red from embarrassment and walked behind the school. Kara then flew up words and flew back to the Kent farm.
"I'm back Ma!" Kara called as she opened the door.
"How was it?" Martha Called from the living room.
"It's great! I made a bunch of friends. They all think that I was homeschooled before...high school. So I kinda fit right in." Kara explained
"Well, go get changed. You have to get to your Young Justice meeting in 45 minutes." Martha said.
Kara ran up to her room and dropped her backpack. She took off her wig and placed it down on her dresser. Then Kara climbed onto the roof and took off across the country. She arrived at the cave and smiled as she saw the whole team waiting for her.
"Kara! How was school?" Wally asked as she entered.
"Oh it was great! I made a bunch of friends!" Kara said smiling.
"Wait till you get homework..." Dick said laughing.
"Your cheeks are slightly pink..." Conner said making Kara freeze.
"O-Oh? M-maybe I-I'm cold..." Kara stuttered.
"It's August." Artemiz said.
Kara shook her head and sighed.
"Forget it. Let's just-"
"Batman to Cave." Bruce Wayne's voice cut Kara off.
