Tiana's pov:

'But why?' I asked myself. Her adorable smile was off her face and in its place, a sad expression. Richelle and Finn were talking in the kitchen about their favourite danceman... dancemia... dancemania moments! (As you have probably noticed, I do NOT watch that show!) I took that opportunity and grabbed Piper's arm and led her to the living room. "What Ti?" She asked, slightly irritated yet still upset. "What's going on, Piper, you were fine a minute ago, and now you won't even look at me! What did I do?!" I retorted.

Piper looked at me then looked at her shoes as she let out a sigh. "It's just, a minute ago you said that you liked Finn and it turns out you were talking about my boyfriend." She mumbled as I also sighed. "Oh Piper. I said I USED to like Finn, not anymore! Especially now that I know he's your boyfriend! Come on, I'm not that shallow. Don't be mad at me, I promise you, and cross my heart that I haven't felt anything for Finn, for the past 2 and a half years!" I said, desperately. I honestly didn't like Finn like that, well anymore that is. I turned her to look at me and she sighed in a playful, exaggerated manner as I laughed. She hugged me and apologised but I waved her off, I understood how she felt, but she had nothing to worry about with me and Finn.

I grabbed her hand and dragged her back to the kitchen where Finn and Richelle were STILL talking about Dancemania. "Where did you guys get off to?" Finn asked curiously, as me and Piper looked at each other and simultaneously said, "Nowhere!" and burst into laughter. "What are you doing here anyways?" Piper asked Finn, sweetly, as he explained how he saw her instagram post and wanted to see the second living room in person.

I looked at Richelle and we both rolled our eyes, no hate for the room but geez! It was just a room! When he decided to leave (something about a legions of lasers marathon with some guys named 'Ozzy' Richelle's lover and some other dude named 'Kingston'), we decided to order Pizza.

"Let's order three mini pizzas and then one large one that we can all share!" Richelle squealed as I held her arm excitedly, it was our joint weakness. Piper looked at us skeptically as she said, "Don't you think that's too much pizza?", and honestly, I think I almost broke my jaw with how far it fell open. "There is NO such thing as too much pizza!" I exclaimed as Richelle high fived me in agreement.

Piper laughed and put her hands up to surrender. "Okay, okay, let's get the pizza!". Me and Richelle high fived and hugged Piper, then Richelle went to go and do the ordering, since she was the expert in getting deals and discounts. Don't even ask me how she manages to do it all the time! Me and Pipes went to go and sit on the sofa and just talk while we heard Richelle yelling down the phone. "Oh yes, Piper, I've been meaning to tell you something." I started as she nodded for me to carry on.

"I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for everything that me, stella and Rose said to you that day, that we saw each other for the first time in literal years. I'm sorry I said all those hurtful things, but just know that I didn't mean it then and I certainly don't think that about you now! I know you're gonna perform your solo at Nationals in the next couple of weeks, and you're going to win!" I said apologetically. She smiled and told me that it was okay but then she looked off into the distance. I hope she's okay, I really didn't mean what I said that night...

Piper's pov:

Aww, I was thankful that she apologised, I know that, that's not something Tiana likes to do! But... nationals is literally in the next couple of weeks, and I'll have to do my solo in front of ALL those people. What if I do fall off the stage or mess up one of my moves like I did at regionals? Maybe, Tiana was right, I didn't deserve to be in A troupe, maybe I really was just a joke.

I mean look at me, it took me 6 months to learn a stupid aerial when everyone could already do one. Miss Angela was right too, I truly was the weakest link... "Piper? Pipes, what's the matter, don't cry." I heard Tiana say, but I was just trying to focus on my breathing because it was getting quicker and quicker.

I heard myself sobbing uncontrollably, as I slid off the sofa and rested my back on the wall. "Just breathe", I told myself, but there was no air! It was suffocating... Why does this always happen to me?!

Tiana's pov:

What the heck was happening?! Piper was breathing really fast and hard, but at the same time she crying uncontrollably. She legit looked like she was going to pass out, I had never felt so terrified... ever!

I suddenly remembered what Piper told me a few years ago about her panic attacks. She said they only happened occasionally if she was feeling stressed, frustrated and scared all at the same time (for example), she told me that her parents or siblings would usually calm her down by rubbing her back and sitting with her, so that's what I intended to do!

I sat next to her and told her to calm down and breathe. "In and out, in and out, just like that." I said, rubbing her back, soothingly. "I'm trying but.. but.. there's n...n..no air!" She exclaimed, panicking. I hugged her and she rested her head on my chest, as I told her all the reasons why her team was lucky to have her. She still cried a bit, but her breathing slowed down. She eventually stopped crying, even though tears still slowly flowed down her face, and I told her all the things I loved about her.

"Okay pizza's ordered but I heard screaming, what's going on?!" Richelle ran in, slightly panicked, as she looked at Piper in my arms. "Piper's freaking out because she thinks she's a bad dancer and that's she's a joke!" I said in disbelief, at least, that's what I think I heard her say as she was crying so much. "Oh, Piper..." Richelle said in shock, as she sat down next to us. We huddled up a bit, so that Piper's head was resting in my lap and her legs on Richelle's lap. She hugged my waist and closed her eyes, as I stroked and played with her hair and Richelle told her how much she meant to their team and how much she's improved.

"You're one of the best dancers on A troupe, well after me, of course!" She stated. Piper's eyes flickered as she smiled a little bit. "Everyone gets scared and nervous and everyone makes mistakes, but you wouldn't be on your team if you weren't one of the best dancers here!" I exclaimed as she nodded and smiled brightly.

"Come on, let's go to the kitchen, pizza will be here any moment now!" Richelle said excitedly, as she stood up. We both grabbed one of Piper's arms and hoisted her up, then I said, "Yeah, you can tell me about you and Finn's magical first date, that you never got to tell!" I said trying to lift her spirits a bit. She squealed excitedly, probably realising that she never got to tell me, as Richelle groaned and rubbed her temples. "Nooo! She's told that story a million times already!" She begged, but Piper just laughed happily and said, "Who cares?! Ti hasn't heard it! Okay, so it was a day like every other day, or so I thought..." piper went on, as I laughed at Richelle.

We walked out of the living room to the kitchen as i laughed at the funny parts of Piper's date story and Richelle eagerly watched out for the pizza delivery guy. He soon came, I'm guessing, as Richelle just jumped up out of nowhere, grabbed the money that we combined and put aside for the pizza and ran out of the door.

5 minutes later, she came back with three small boxes and a large one. It smelt delicious. As we dug into our food, Richelle turned to me, "You know, I really think that you should come with us to the studio tomorrow. We can introduce you to A troupe!" She suggested as Piper nodded and agreed. "Ohhh no! No, no way! They're going to hate me! I know that 'cus someone told all of them about my history with you guys!" I exclaimed shocked.

Piper's pov:

Ti pointedly look at me as i burst out laughing. "What?! Don't look at me, I'm sorry! I was talking to Finn about you and he was telling about his friend Tiana, which I didn't put together was the same person that I was talking about. And everyone else got curious and I just told them! I didn't know we were gonna meet up anytime soon!" I said apologetically, though still laughing.

Ti and Rich laughed too but Tiana looked at us and shook her head slightly, "I don't know... Introduce me... to them?! I just don't know if it's a good idea. I'll come with you guys regardless but I just hope no one hates me!" She said still doubtful. I mean what's the worst that could happen?! They won't hate her... will they?
