AntiHero's FIRST REWRITE IN THE WORKS - thanks!! :] EDIT 2/28/22 - sorry, health problems right now, but I will post after rewriting the first 80-90,000 words or so and start fresh from there! Expect the change to be uploaded before summer! So long as I can keep using my hands, that is~! ^_^ X] This story will indeed get fleshed out as my vision improves for the better. But I feel the need to emphasize that a lot of parts are written in improvised comic book format as my primary writing style, and this first book is actually the entry point and starting novel for an entire very vast series I am in the works of developing. Many side characters here will eventually be main characters with there own stories; long or short. But this one particularly will be focused and centralized around Noel. Because of this, I do plan to leave the introduction for side characters as still having a special flow for readers to witness a tad of their background, so keep that in mind after my 'obviously many' rewrites from now and going into the future! Sorry for the troubles! I will improve on my style and implementation of the story!(Although I DO plan to keep parts as 'play style' or rather, comic book style, since I find it easier for certain dialogue instances as well as the fact that the novel is inspired by that 'feeling' you get while reading comic books. Please don't assume I'm just randomly naming characters names that don't match them. And feel free to talk to me about whatever in my story troubles you - no matter how small! You were web surfing on RoyalRoad, wondering about what kind of crap you will stumble across while you searched for your daily dose of stories, seemingly with nothing better to do in your life. While scrolling down that never ending list of novels, you noticed a novel named ‘You World’ which immediately grabbed your interest, and decided to click on it – yeh, you and that curiosity of yours. You waited for the page to load, then began reading the synopsis with maximum concentration. By now you are probably wondering why this novel is written in the 2nd person perspective and why the hell the narrative has suddenly changed from the past to the present tense – or what kind of weed this author smoked while writing this. This entire story is basically just me, having seen a piece of art on Tumblr, rereading Gerard Way's The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys and getting an idea that may or may not be a good thing?Set in a futuristic world similar to the one in Killjoys, but a bit less cynical. (If that makes sense)Please note that I've done absolutely no planning for this, have no idea when it will update or where I'm going, and the only ships in it are the ones that are confirmed to be canon. This means only Paultryck and Kim&Katya, whose ship name I don't know, and from what I've heard, Eduardo&Laurel is also canon(?), though I'm not sure if the neighbors will actually be in this much. Again, haven't planned anything!All I can say for sure is I won't kill any of the main cast, and this will revolve around the original four, namely Edd, Tom, Matt and Tord, with pre-The End designs (read as, "I like edgy Tord with darker hair"). Essentially it's their designs from Spares.Rated PG-13 to possibly M depending on where you live for gore/death and swearing-I'm not really one for gruesome details though so I try to keep the gory stuff a bit vague. You can always ask me about how bad it is before reading if you're worried it'll upset you, my inbox is always open.
