***Remy (still a flashback)***
"How did you even know where I live now?" Remus asked. Remy laughed.
"Dude I hacked the schools computers." He leaned against the doorway. "I need to hide for a bit...I can explain but I need to get inside before he somehow tracks me down, is that okay?" Remus opened the door and Remy walked inside.
"You running from the cops?" Remus asked.
"No, my kidnapper actually." Remus stared with wide eyes.
"Holy fuck I missed a lot..."
"Actually, I ran away and was kidnapped before the whole thing with you even happened." Remy smiled sadly. "I only know what happened because I followed your brother under my secret account."
"Remy, back the fuck up for a second." Remus sat down. "You were kidnapped and your family didn't say shit about it!?"
"They just assumed I was a run away." Remy shrugged. "I just went to visit them actually, dad knows I'm alive at least..." Remy looked at his phone. He raised an eyebrow seeing that he got a ping from Virgils phone. "I..." he stood up. "I'm gonna actually try and head back-." Remus grabbed his arm.
"Who are you tracking?" Remus asked.
"Just a...a thing for work." Remus took his phone and Remy rolled his eyes.
"Dude not cool." Remus stared wide eyed.
"Dude, this is one of my students." Remus walked over and pulled out the phone handing it to Remy. "I forgot I confiscated this..." Remy unlocked the phone and looked through it.
"That's...okay I'll go bring it back. Thanks Remus." Remus stared at him.
"How do you even know the kid?" Remy smiled then frowned and looked away.
"He's my little cousin." Remy clutched the phone then looked at Remus. "It said he was kidnapped with a few other people but I don't know if I should believe it or not since Virgil isn't one people really worry about."
"Wait kidnapped? But he's been at school with the others, I don't know who posted that but seriously you should just keep an eye on the kid." Remus walked away.
"You look like you are making dinner for like seven people..." Remy raised an eyebrow. "You are so weird." Remy walked out smiling at Remus. "See you later yeah?"
"Yeah, we should totally catch up." Remy left and looked down at the phone in his hands. For some reason he didn't believe Remus.
****time skip cuz I can**** (Virgil is 21, Remy is 26)
Remy looked at the article in his hands and shook his head. Fucking knew he shouldn't have trusted Remus. He spotted a customer and smiled sweetly at them.
"What can I get for you babes?"

"Just a black coffee." Remy rolled his eyes and made the coffee.
"Alright emo." He handed the cup to the kid and he looked at Remy rolling his eyes.
"Geez you are a dick." Remy smiled and laughed.
"It's part of my charm." Remy eyed the kid for a moment then his eyes widened. "Holy fuck..."
"Yeah, yeah I know I'm the kid who was held hostage. Jesus Christ can't catch a break can I?" Remy laughed.
"Not why I said that." Remy noticed he had a notebook with a bunch of places crossed out. "here." Remy handed him an application. "Don't know if you were even considering this place but we are hiring so.."
"Thanks actually, I've been wandering for hours looking for jobs." Remy smiled.
"Good! You'll apply then?" Virgil nodded.
"Names Virgil."
"Names Remy." Virgil took a sip of his coffee and laughed as he walked out of the store. "Bye kid..." Remy smiled sadly. He looked at the counter and then back at his phone.
Remy rolled his eyes. Of course. He shut off his phone and started cleaning the store. Someone walked in and Remy looked up.
"Hi, I'll be with you in a moment." He finished the table he was on and walked over to the counter.
"You got the job I see." Remy looked up frozen.
"Get out." Remy growled. "Or I'm calling the police."
"You ran away from me Remy, that wasn't very nice." Remy shook his head as he pulled out his phone.
"Get out." He immediately went to call but the man grabbed his phone from him and shoved him into the wall.
"That's not how you should treat someone who took care of you for five years." Remy slapped his hand away and shoved him off.
"Took care of me!! You fucking kidnapped me you Jack ass! Get out of here!" Remy hit one of the buttons to call the cops and glared at the man in front of him. "I will never hesitate to get away from you EVER again. You are a sick fucking pervert and you deserve what's coming to you."
"Oh but Remy, you have no proof that you were kidnapped. Your own parents didn't even report you missing, you know.... I can get away with a lot." Remy glared at him.
"You are a lot slower now than you were back then since I broke your fucking leg." Remy pointed at the cane. "So I suggest you get the fuck out of my life or I'll break more than just your leg next time you try and lay a hand on me."
"Police! Hands up!" Remy backed away and put his hands up.

"Officers." They put their guns down and looked at Remy.
"What's the problem here sir?" Remy gestured at the man.
"He's my stalker that's what." Remy grabbed his phone. "Get him out of here."
"I am sure I don't know what he's talking about, this kids delusional." The officers rolled their eyes.
"Alright, if nothing is happening we'll be on our way." They walked out and Remy immediately backed himself away from the man in front of him.
"Get out." He walked closer to Remy and grabbed his arm tightly.
"Back of the store needs attention." He dragged Remy to the back and Remy attempted to shove him off but it didn't work.
"Stop it!" Remy struggled against him. "Fucking asshole!" Remy heard the jingle of the front door opening and he ran. When he made it to the front he smiled at the customer shakily.
"Remy?" Patton asked. Remy raised an eyebrow.
"Been awhile babes, what's up?"
"I can't believe it..." Patton laughed. "We all thought you ran away." Remy looked towards the back then back at Patton.
"I didn't run away, my parents just said that because they didn't want police involved." Patton stared at him wide eyed.
"Oh my god Remy what?" Remy gestured at the back room.
"It's nothing Patton, what can I get for you?" Remy signed hoping Patton could still read it.
Pattons eyes widened.
Remy looked back as he made the coffee.
"When's your shift over?" Patton asked.
"In like ten minutes." Remy said.
"Come over!" Patton suggested. "Roman and I would love to catch up!" Remy glanced at the ring on pattons finger and smiled.
"It's good to see you two still together!" Remy laughed as he saw the old man sneak out the back. "Oh thank fuck, he's gone." Remy relaxed.
"Remy, why didn't you call the police as soon as you got away?" Remy looked down.
"My parents never reported me missing. I wasn't even reported as a runaway..." Remy took his apron off. "And besides that I'm twenty six now Patton...they wouldn't even care if I said I was kidnapped anyways."
"Yes they would Remy!" Patton frowned. "Trust me on that one."
"I read the article." Remy grabbed his bag. "About what happened to you and those kids."
"Remy-."
"Same shit but at least people actually cared you were missing." Remy looked down at his phone as the two walked out of the store. "Virgils my cousin Patton..."
"What!?" Patton cried. "We thought he didn't have any living family members!"
"My parents wanted nothing to do with him so they were going to just throw him into the system, that's the whole reason I ran away..." Remy flinched as they walked and Patton grabbed his hand. "I wanted to buy the house from the bank before they sent Virgil away, and so I went and when I did she wouldn't sell me the house so this man stepped in and he-he payed for the house but he just fucking took me without anyone questioning it! He fucking kidnapped me right there..."
"Remy I'm so sorry..." Remy wiped his face as they kept walking.
"He pretended to be my father." Remy scratched at his wrist as he tried to calm his breathing. They reached a house and Patton unlocked the door. They walked in and they both sat down. "He took me to some place and then after that....every-time he payed for the house to stay in Virgils name he would..."
"It's okay deep breathes Remy."
"He would rape me every single time...all because he said I owed him for saving that house." Remy shook his head. "I tried to escape so many fucking times but he ended up hurting me so badly I couldn't move for weeks."
"Remy why didn't you leave before? After you turned eighteen why didn't you try and get away even more than before?" Remy laughed bitterly.
"Are you kidding? I've tried." Remy placed his head in his hands. "And now he knows where I work...probably where I live now too. I got away from him and all he could do was chase after me."
"Have you told anyone else?" Patton asked.
"God no, my dad knows but he's the only one..."
"You'll get through this. I'm sure Roman and Janus won't mind you staying with us until we figure out if he's actually thinking of kidnapping you again." Remy smiled.
"I cant put this on you guys..." Remy sighed then smiled a bit. "Here." He gave Patton his number and then shared his location. "It'll ping when I'm at home, and when I'm at work. If I don't arrive at either location it won't go off but you can still see it." Patton nodded.
"Alright then, I'll watch this with my life. Where will you go?" Patton asked.
"I'm heading home, I need to get some sleep in order to open the coffee shop tomorrow morning. Training Virgil."
"Oh he got the job!" Remy laughed.
"Well I am his boss so, yeah." Remy walked out the door. "See yah babes!" He felt a shiver down his spine and he immediately rushed home. Someone was watching him. He probably just put Patton and his family in danger didn't he? Fuck.
