Patton watches Virgil and frowns. Virgil looks up at Patton. "Does dada hate me?" Patton shakes his head as Virgil sniffles and tears up. Patton washes up and walks back in whilst Virgil looks down and starts crying. Parton frowns and walks to him. "I think someone needs a nap..." He looks up at Patton and makes grabby hands for him. Patton picks him up and holds him as he sniffles and cuddles into Patton. Patton starts rocking him and he starts falling asleep. Patton continues rocking him until he falls asleep then places him in his playpen. He cuddles into the blankets and teddies.
Logan comes home as him and Patton talk quietly Patton then begins to cry softly. Virgil wakes up and looks at them as Patton sobs into Logans chest. He crawls to the edge of the playpen and crawls over the bars then crawls to them. Logan sighs and picks him up setting him in his playpen again. "You've got to stop doing that!" Patton wipes his tears as him and Logan share a kiss. Virgil crawls into the small tent in the play pen and moves about in the pillows and teddies. Patton kisses Logan again and looks towards Virgil and frowns. He moves around the pillows and teddies as Patton tears up. "I feel terrible..." Logan sighs and agrees. "me too.."
Virgil holds onto a small teddy and crawls out of the tent then over to the edge closest to them. He holds the teddy up to them. It's a small teddy with a red heart on it saying 'I love you'. Patton and Logan tear up and pick up Virgil holding him close. He cuddles into them as they hold him. "Daddy, dada.." They both look at him and say. "Yes baby?!" He smiles and looks up at them. "I love you" They both smile and hug him. He yawns and cuddles into him falling asleep. They both rock him as he falls asleep.

Virgil wakes up a couple hours later and he sits up then looks around. Logan and Patton are cuddled up on there bed asleep. Virgil stands up and looks around at the darkness. He climbs out of the crib and stands on the floor. He crawls to the stairs and carefully climbs down. He crawls into the kitchen and climbs into the side then knocks off a glass shattering it. Patton wakes up. Virgil pouts and climbs back down and starts moving the glass with his hands cutting his hands in the process. Patton walks downstairs then runs to virgil. "VIRGIL!!" He gets scared and looks up at Patton. Patton gasps. "Your hands are bleeding!!" He looks at his hands then back at Patton. Patton stands there frozen. Virgil starts crying and Patton picks him up and carries him to the bathroom. "shhh" He sniffles and holds onto Patton. Patton washes the blood from Virgils hands as he looks up at Patton. "I'm sorry..." Patton hums and cleans him. "It's okay! You're just a curious baby~" Logan walks in. Virgil looks up at Logan. Logan sighs. "Again?!" They look at each other and logan leaves whilst Patton fixes Virgil up.
Patton puts virgil down and smiles. "All better! Now go play!" Virgil smiles and crawls over to the toys then plays. Logan works whilst constantly rubbing his eyes to keep himself from crying. Virgil plays with Logans piano as he watches. He picks up Virgil and sits him back in his playpen. "Let's not play with that...." Logan hands Virgil some toys. He takes the toys and plays with them boredly. Logan rubs his eyes. "Dada are you mad at me..." He plays with some stuffies. Logan shakes his head. "Never... I'm mad at all the damn work.." Virgil plays. "Take a break..." Logan gets on the floor. "Can I play?" Virgil smiles and hands him a stuffie. "Yeah!" Logan plays with him feeling better.

Of Men and Dragons, Book 1
Book 1 is now available on Kindle, or in paperback/hardcover! You can buy it here! Jack crash-landed on a planet where the natives are seven-foot-tall carnivorous cat-lizards currently somewhere between stone and bronze age. The good news is the natives think the ship that crashed into their mountain is a dragon and are steering clear of it. The bad news is they just left one of their own as a sacrifice to appease the beast. No matter what Jack and his AI co-pilot decide, his life just got a lot more complicated... ATTENTION: This is soft sci-fi rather than hard sci-fi, hence why I chose that tag. For those of you unfamiliar with the distinction, here's what Wikipedia had to say. 1. It explores the "soft" sciences, and especially the social sciences (for example, anthropology, sociology, or psychology), rather than engineering or the "hard" sciences (for example, physics, astronomy, or chemistry). 2. It is not scientifically accurate or plausible; the opposite of hard science fiction. Soft science fiction of either type is often more concerned with character and speculative societies, rather than speculative science or engineering. The term first appeared in the late 1970s and is attributed to Australian literary scholar Peter Nicholls.
