I wake up and a bright room with white walls. I sit up and see dr.strange sitting next to me, reading.

"where am I?" I ask, looking around the room. "oh good you're awake. You're in stark towers. I'll get someone in to talk with you." He says.

"about what?" I ask, confused. "about your attempted suicide, wade. You can't keep avoiding these talks and acting like everything is fine." He says, standing up and walking out of the room. "for now I'll just get Peter."

A few moments later Peter runs into the room with tears in his eyes and a wide smile. He runs over and hugs me as tight as he can.

"wade! You're ok!" He says, wipeing tears from his eyes. He looks more frail than usual, like he hasn't been eating.

"how long was I out?" I ask, holding his hand. "about a week." He says "but the school said you were excused from all assignments."

I wrap my arms around wade and we just talk for a while until mr.stark walks in.

"so, how are you feeling wade?" He says, walking to the bed. He sits down and looks at me. I nod and walk out of the room.

I go to my room and put my suit on. I haven't been on patrol since wade passed out. The city even started a "days without spiderman" counter.

I swing out the window and see the little kid who helped me. Caleb, his name was Caleb, I think. I swing down to him and his face lights up when he sees me.

"hey Caleb." I say, walking twords him. He drops his back pack and runs twords me. Before I can do anything he hugs me as tights at me can.

"you didn't die!" He says, hugging me. I hug him back and feel something wet on the back of his jacket. That's when I notice there is blood on his jacket and his leg.

"what happened to you? Why is there blood on your jacket?" I say, crouching down to be at his level. "are you ok?"

"um, well some guy tried to steal my stuff like an hour ago and he um... got my leg." He says, looking down at the ground.

I stand up and hold out my hand for him to take it. He takes my hand and I walk him to the closest convenient store and grab some bandages and get him one of the bright yellow safety jackets.

I paid and when we got out side I bandaged his leg, gave him the rest of the bandages, and helped him put the new jacket on.

He smiled and waved at me as I swung away. I stopped some small crimes and helped people carry groceries.

After about 2 hours I get a text from clint.

C: dude where are you?

P: on patrol. Why?

C: you didn't tell anyone you were going out. Cap almost cried when he saw your window open. He was so relieved that you didn't get kidnapped.

P: wow. Well I'll be home in 15.

C: ok

After 10 minutes I swing back through my window and take off my mask. I walk into the living room and I can see the wave of relief wash over the room.

Wade stands up and walks over to me. I can see the stress on Mr.rogers and mr.barnes faces. Wade hugs me and I hug him back.

"I'm sorry." He says, quietly. "I'm just glad your ok. You can always call me." I say, holding him tightly.

Mr.stark walks into the room. He motions to his face when he sees me and wade. I ignore him and wade holds me by the shoulders. He just looks at me.

"you still know how to make those cookies from baking class?" He says, wipeing his eyes. "of course I do." I say.

"mr.stark, is it ok if I make some cookies?" I ask, looking at mr.stark, trying not to laugh at the shock on his face.

"sure, but not in your suit." He says. I look at wade "I'm going to go change and make some cookies." I say, going to my room to change.

I throw on a sweater and sweatpants. I run down the stairs and just see wade, clint, and mr.barnes sitting on the living room floor, talking. I poke my head in and ask wade if he wants to help me.

"I'm coming!" He says, springing to his feet. We walk go the kitchen and start to make cookies.

(time skip to after cookies)

After the cookies cooled each of us grabbed a try of cookies and walked into the living room.

As soon as we walk in everyone gets up and grabs a cookie. They all smile and compliment our baking.

I can't help but smile when I see their faces light up. So this is what its like to have adults acually care about you.

I'll have to stay with the avengers for a 2 weeks or so under "mental watch". After that I'm going to live with matt. I can still go to school but Peter has to be with me all the time.

He usually is anyway, considering we have all of our classes together. So its not much of a change at school.

Peter and I sit on the floor and we put on a movie. I think I'm going to like it here.

relapsed and tony found out. Bucky told him to pretend he didn't know. After the mental watch from the avengers, wade is going to live with matt murdock who is like 22 and lived with the wilsons as a foster kid when wade was young.
