It was a regular morning and you were in class, listening to Aizawa while playing with your pen. Some minutes after, the door opened and when you looked up, your eyes fell on All Might, making everyone surprised at his sudden visit.

"We have something important to discuss."

Everyone got silent waiting for one of the two heroes to talk, and when they finally did, you felt your heart drop to your stomach.

"The villains were being transferred yesterday but the truck that they were in got attacked and they managed to escape. To make matters worse, Shigaraki managed to survive by Young (y/n)'s attack but he was in a comma all this time. We don't really know how, but what we do know is that they will seek revenge."

"We need you all to be careful, we don't know their true intentions. Your dorms are going to be guarded in case they try to attack, but still. Now, we already know where their new hideout is, but we wanted to know that in case of a planned attack, would you be willing to fight?"

Without hesitation, everyone agreed.

"Alright, now, you can go back to your dorms. But (y/n) we need to talk to you before you go."

You nodded and packed your stuff. As soon as everyone left, you stood in front of the two heroes.

"Young (y/n), now that you've finally got your quirks and strength back, there is a possibility that the villains are after you again. In case of an attack, we want you to stay close to Aizawa. He will protect you if the villains target you, and he will erase your quirks in case you are unable to control them like last time."

"But I've gained control of my quirks. I can't just stay next to Aizawa while eveyone else is fighting, that's not what it means to be a hero!"

"Young (y/n), I understand but this will also be safer for you-"

"If you face the villains, they will try to use you against us, steal your quirks, even kill you! Can't you just listen to us for once?" added Aizawa.

"You were the one who told me that you weren't preventing me from using my quirks.. it doesn't seem like it to me. I'm such an idiot for believing you in the first place Aizawa. You saw me just like everyone else from the start."

You left the classroom and closed the door behind you. You walked down the hallways with warm tears running down your eyes, ignoring Aizawa's calls. When you got outside the building, your eyes fell on Bakugou who was waiting for you so that you two returned home together.

"Oi what happened?"

You surprised him by hugging him tightly, hiding your face in his chest.

"They won't allow me to fight with everyone else in case I can't control my quirks again."

His eyes softened at your trembling voice.

"It wasn't my fault Katsuki.. they were the ones who kept telling me that! Why won't they let me fight? I've gained control of my quirks and with this much strength, I will be able to take down the villains. But they all see me as a walking threat. I should've known better.."

"Hey.. that's not true. Maybe they are just scared of you overdoing it. But don't stress it that much okay? If you talk to him you will clear things out. We don't even know if there's going to be an attack. For now, just focus on the upcoming event alright?"

"Yeah, you're right."

He took your hand in his and lead you to your dorms, where you spent the rest of the night.

"Today we are going to do a battle training, similar to the one that we did at the sports festival! Class 1-A against Class 1-B. From the two opponents, the one standing wins!"

"Goddammit! With those annoying idiots?"

"Calm down Katsuki. I'm sure you're overreacting."

You were going to fight last, so you just sat next to your classmates, waiting for the first pair to come up. Some minutes passed and you were watching Kirishima fight Tetsutetsu. You glanced across you and scanned the students of Class 1-B, curious of who you were going to be with. Though, a certain blond-haired boy kept staring at you.

"(l/n), you're up next so get ready!"

Everyone had finished fighting so it was finally your turn. You thanked your friends who were wishing you the bestest of luck, and on your way to the arena, you met with none other than your boyfriend.

"Make sure to kick his ass, I will be watching." he said with a grin forming on his face. He gave you a small headpat and you returned the smile.

His? I guess I'm up against a boy.

You stood in the middle of the arena and finally, the said boy made his way across you.

"(l/n) (y/n) against Monoma Neito."

He had a small smirk on his face, contrasting your bored expression.

"Fight!"

You started running towards him, catching him by surprise. You kicked him right in the face, making him fall down to the ground.

"What's up with you?"

"Heh, thought you were going to use your quirks first."

You got confused at his reply and took some steps back. As soon as he stood up, you raised your hands upwards, him copying your movements. You were about to use your bending on him, though, he acted faster.

"W-What the-"

"So this is what it feels like! Having control of someone's body."

Your eyes widened at his statement.

"You copied my quirk?"

He made you fall to your knees and then kicked you in the face, similarly to how you did earlier, sending you to the end of the arena. Your friends gasped whereas Bakugou started threatening Monoma.

I can't go all out.. They won't allow me.

You stood up and tried to run towards him but he stopped you once again. You felt anger rise in you as your heart started beating faster.

"Oi (y/n)! Kick his ass, what are you waiting for?!"

He's right.

You took small steps towards him, regardless of your quirk being used against you.

"I think you're underestimating your own quirk, (l/n)!"

He raised his hands, making you wince in pain as he lifted you from the ground. Monoma only knew how to use your quirk by watching your sports festival battle and your training around school. He was unaware of the dangers around it, but of course, he wouldn't care eitherway.

"You dumbass! Quit acting all badass with my quirk and stop using it or else it's going to affect everyone or even kill me!"

"You're so popular! Everyone thinks you're so strong! But you can't even handle your own quirk!" he laughed histerically.

You tried to open your eyes, only for them to fall on Aizawa's figure who was watching the whole fight with his arms crossed. When he lowered his head you finally realized,

No... I'm not going to hold back and humiliate myself.

You took a deep breath and managed to take control over your body by using your bending on yourself. You landed on your feet, Monoma's eyes widening in surprise.

"H-How is it possible?!"

You walked closer to him and threw a punch right at his face, but he managed to block it with his arm. He pinned you to the ground and stood on top of you, punching your ribs multiple times.

"You think you're going to humiliate me in front of such crowd? You're wrong!" he exclaimed.

You gritted your teeth and closed your eyes but when you opened them seconds after, they had turned pitch black. You pushed him off you with immense strength, his body colliding with the walls of the arena.

You stood up and took deep breaths while clutching your left side which hurt the most.

He grunted in pain and tried to use your control quirk against you, but there was no hope for him.

"Why isn't it working?!" he panicked.

"Loser! I was born with black blood!" you shouted, hearing Bakugou's loud laughter from afar.

You moved your pointer finger, dragging him closer to you. He looked at your black eyes while visibly shaking, a wide smirk forming on your face as you grabbed him by the collar of his shirt.

"Y-You look like a demon."

"Maybe I am."
