《dangerous // bakugou x reader》After Story 2/?

After the weekend, you were all gathered at the UA training grounds. You hadn't talked to Bakugou in what felt like forever, and Aizawa had noticed your bad mood. Bakugou's especially. It was hard for you two to move on since you saw eachother daily. Yesterday, you decided to visit him, having the need to talk about your feelings with someone apart from your girl-friends, but it didn't really go as planned.
"Just try to ignore him."
"Wow, so helpful. Thanks."
"(y/n), don't you think it's for the best that you two took a break?"
"I guess."
You layed down on his couch and covered yourself with a blanket, similarly to him with his sleeping bag.
"Listen I've noticed how you two act and it is clear that you aren't taking this lightly. It would be best if you started showing that you are doing better. Then he will notice and start moving on as well."
"You're secretly happy that we're not together anymore!"
"Well, I can't say that I'm sad about it either. You have the opportunity to focus more on your training and studying rather than fooling around with Bakugou."
"Whatever.."
Eventually, after a while, you fell asleep so he didn't bother to wake you up. By the looks of it, you had started to see nightmares again, due to being distressed all the time. When Uraraka called you, he picked up and informed her that you were sound asleep and that you wouldn't be sleeping at the dorms that day. You felt grateful for having Aizawa.
After what felt like forever, he finally told you that today's training was combat, so you just thought nothing of it due to always being paired with him so that you would go all out with your quirks.
"Only this time, I'll pair you up. Starting with (y/n) and Bakugou-"
"What?!"
"No objections."
"Yeah right, I don't know what you're trying to do here but I'm going back." Bakugou said, ready to go change.
"I said no objections!" Aizawa dragged him back
Bakugou scoffed and made his way next to you, sitting on the ground while waiting for Aizawa to finish pairing up your classmates. The silence between you two was driving you insane so you decided to speak up.

"How have you been?"
"Why do you care?"
"I'm still human, I care for others."
"Tsk, couldn't be better. And what about you?" he asked sarcastically.
"I'm doing great as well, thanks for asking." you replied with the same sarcasm.
He rolled his eyes and stood up, stretching while facing away from you. You just crossed your arms and closed your eyes, standing still before the training started.
You felt like you were back in stage one. Like you had just met him. Like you two didn't share anything with each other.
"Alright kids you may start, don't forget that you can go all out but with a certain limit. The one standing wins." Aizawa said in his usual monotone voice.
"Come on, let's finish this fast."
"What are you talking about."
He stood in front of you and cracked his knuckles before finally replying.
"I don't want to spend more time with your sorry ass during training. I need a stronger opponent. At this point Aizawa was-"
You cut him off by laughing loudly at his words, your eyes finally meeting his after days of trying your best not to look at each other.
"I think it goes the other way around blasty. I won't hesitate to send you to Recovery Girl wasted like our first battle." you scoffed while pinching his cheek in a mocking way, him slapping your hand away.
"Oh yeah?! Then let's go shitty girl. The one standing wins."
As always, he attacked first by throwing direct punches but you managed to avoid them easily while you threw some yourself. Taking your distraction as an advantage, he kicked you in the stomach. Right before hitting the ground, you landed on your hands and pushed yourself upwards, punching him right in the stomach area as well. You two took some seconds to catch your breaths while clutching on your stomachs, and when he finally felt like continuing, Bakugou placed his hands in front of his body, you knowing exactly what his next move would be.
Before he blasted you to God knows where, you stopped him with your bending quirk. You moved your hands downwards, and after resisting for some seconds he finally gave in, falling to his knees. You approached him and kicked his right shoulder, and after hearing him grunt in pain you immediately stopped using your quirk. He took that as an opportunity to sloppily blast two large explosions towards you, them dragging small pieces of rocks with them that managed to scratch your face.

"Asshole.." you murmured.
You took the small knife out of your harness, but threw it on the ground immediately after realizing that anger was overtaking you.
"Come on you coward! Use it!" he shouted.
Your classmates were watching the whole fight concerned, some warning you two to not kill each other accidentally.
"Oh it's not gonna be accidental that's for sure!" you shouted.
"You're all threat but no action! That's the reason why- "
You gritted your teeth and jumped at him, pinning him down to the ground while feeling warm tears run down your eyes from the words that he was about to say.
"Stop it! Just shut up!"
You punched him right in the face and then near his stomach, him coughing from the sudden pain. He pushed you off him, making you fall on your butt, and before you were able to continue your fight further, Aizawa came running towards you two and wrapped his restraints around you both.
"What the hell are you two doing huh? Are you out of your damn minds?!"
He stared at you two surprised while you were trying to catch your breaths. His eyes softened after seeing your tear-stained face and Bakugou's which was full of regret.
"I can't leave you brats alone for two seconds! Look at you!"
You glanced at each other but then immediately looked away, Aizawa releasing you after letting out a deep sigh.
"Who started it first? And don't tell me that it was training because you two were clearly-"
"I did." you interrupted. "I challenged him to a fight."
Bakugou's eyes widened at your words. Technically he started it but you provoked him. Then the fight just continued on its own.
"You get 0." he said, pointing his finger next to him.
You clenched your fists and started walking towards him slowly. Aizawa glanced at Bakugou and crossed his arms.
"Even though you continued the fight, I'm not going to punish you. You may go."
He straightened down his shirt and nodded at Aizawa before leaving.
"Everyone else continue with your training. (y/n), follow me."
As you sat on the bench, he got a first aid kit and started treating the small cuts that were on your face and your other minor injuries.
"What's with you?"
"Nothing." you murmured.
"By attacking him you won't win anything."
"I didn't do it because I wanted to win! It's just that.. well.. forget it."
Aizawa kneeled down across you and put the small box next to him. You rested your chin on your palm and stared at your boots while your eyes filled with tears once again.
"I know it's hard for you."
"It's fine. I can manage. Can we please end this conversation here?"
He nodded and stood up, giving you a small headpat.
"Don't cry. It doesn't suit you."
As soon as he left, you gripped the sides of the bench and sighed. You decided to change to your usual clothes so you headed to the changing rooms.
Why did you get so irritated though? You hated the fact that he saw you as a weakling. You were more than that, and you wanted to prove him wrong. You could end him right there, but you knew that it wouldn't get you anywhere, that's why you refrained from using your whole strength. Same with him, he clearly knew that you weren't weak, but he loved to dare you.
He had to say those things because he knew that you were reluctant of fighting him, or worse, hurting him badly. Actually, you were terrified of that thought. But he wanted you to release all your locked emotions and frustration more than anything, even if it meant that he would need to break the promise he made to himself. To never treat you like an opponent. To never hurt you physically. But most importantly, to not be the reason behind your hurt eyes.
As you got out, you slowly walked towards the exit, meeting none other than him.
"Sorry for today, Bakugou." you said while brushing shoulders with him.
"Don't worry about it, shitty girl." he replied in the same cold tone.

Author's Thoughts: What is litRPG (From wikipedia) - LitRPG, short for Literary Role Playing Game, is a literary genre combining the conventions of MMORPGs with science-fiction fantasy novels.[1] LitRPG is a literary genre where games or game-like challenges form an essential part of the story. A LitRPG work simultaneously narrates the story of characters inside and outside of the game-world. At least some of the characters in a LitRPG novel therefore understand that they are playing a game: they are 'meta-aware'. So, while Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is a fantasy novel, a book about people creating avatars and interacting in a Lord of the Rings MMORPG would be a LitRPG novel. Why do I read them? You know, I am not too sure. I love MMOs. I played them, quit them, joined up and repeated the cycle. They are fun! They are a massive waste of time but so are most games. Do I want to read about someone else playing them? Sort of?The advent of VR and the possibility of VR someday becoming so immersive that you can't tell them from reality sets the imagination on fire. What if this could be life? But most stories fall short. At the end of the day the protagonist hangs up his VR helmet and goes to have dinner with his mom and dad or other family and it becomes meaningless. It's like the story that ends because the main character woke up and nothing you read matters. There have been some books that explore the concept of the intersection of reality and total immersion VR. Enders Game is a classic. There were a few others that escape me but they exist, however, the cross between the game and reality is weak.So what if the game was real? The technology needed for total immersion VR is so advanced that by the time we reach that goal technology should have naturally evolved to include several items. You must have direct neural input. You simply can't have a total immersion (all senses and perfect presence) experience without this basic prerequisite. If you have direct neural access, you can probably do neat things like feed knowledge and skills directly to that person. You can undoubtedly do many horrible things as well. Muscles are controlled by the brain. If you control the brain why would you let the body just sit there and rot? A person that sits unmoving for 24 hours a day will have their body whither away just like a coma patient. However, if you control the brain you could control the muscles. On a basic level, this would be isometric impulses, working muscle group against muscle group to avoid atrophy. Taken to its logical conclusion you would be able to gain muscle mass and program muscle memory. The flip side is that you could remote control their body... but let's not go there. So what would people do if it were real? Well, they would probably limit and regulate it since the drawbacks are very obvious. Even if you look at the basic aspects of this you can see some negative possibilities. Look at the Sword Art Online anime. Personally, I think they missed the boat by putting a bomb in the VR helmet. Do you really need a bomb when you have direct access to the brain? So what kind of events would you need to have a situation where the obvious drawbacks haven't been explored? Maybe a society where the advancement of technology has so far outstripped the explorations of its applications that ignorance was truly bliss? Okay, so I had to put in an alien invasion to kickstart the premise, but that was just one of the possibilities.
