Nandini’s eyes which were tightly shut due to fear are opened widely seeing Manik’s hand in between her and the belt. She couldn’t understand what he is doing but before she could ask anything Manik placed his finger on her mouth and showed his mobile which was on call with Abhi.

He noticed it when it got answered itself and so he faked the next scene. He slapped her to control his anger but his inner soul can control him at that point of time where he has to control.

He then cut the call and held her cheeks tightly saying “Now wait n watch…”

She was totally in confusion and couldn’t understand what’s happening. She hugged her knees and cried reminiscing her moments with her bhai and he just sat on couch, leaning his head back and eyes shut.

On the other side,

“Nandu….Nandu….” Abhi shrieked on call though he knew it’s disconnected.

“Yeh kya kiya mein ne….I shouldn’t have listened to her…and got her married to that person who don’t even love her….I should have known that Manik is doing something with her….I have to go…I completely misunderstood the distance he created between us…She needs me…God please save her till the time I reach…” he immediately took his car keys and left to their house.

Manik’s words are ringing in his head all the time.

“Kaash….Kaash u made her understand what true love is ,,rather than loving her to no extent…”

“May be Manik was right.” He thought.

“U loved her like more than your child but you failed to make her understand the values of relations…”

“That’s true…I failed like a father…” He agreed.

“Nevertheless, now it’s my duty to make her understand…what love is…how love will be…and that’ll be in MY WAY…”

“I should have understood your meaning Manik…What have I done…But…Manik……..will he stop….will Nandu come with me….What step should I take which won’t effect her future….What if Manik has already forced her…..” All the thoughts kept on running in his mind. He made a call before he reached their place.

He ran like a maniac and knocked the door. Manik knew who it is. He went near Nandini and warned “Not even a single sound…”

She nodded slightly while he locked the door and came out to open the door.

“Abhi…tum…iss waqt..??” He faked his tone.

“Nandini kaha hai..??” Abhi asked in a straight tone while entering into the house and looking everywhere.

“Nandini….bahar gayi hai…” He lied.

Abhi immediately held his collar and said “Don’t lie Manik…I know she is here and what u r doing with her…Tell me where is Nandini…”

Manik released himself and asked “Kyun…?? I can do whatever I want..she is my wife…”

“Hell with this marriage….I’m her brother dammit…” Abhi shouted on top of his voice.

Manik smirked and said “Why Abhi…?? Are you the only brother in the whole world….?? Kya mein ek bhai nahi hu…?? Anyways…my point is….Have u understood what I have gone through when u kidnapped Navya…?? (He pointed towards Abhi’s heart) Yaha jo feeling ho raha hai na, usko dar kehthe hai…u know fear…fear of losing your loved ones….wahi…”

Abhi wiped his tears and joined his hands “Manik…please batao…Nandini kaha hai…Please…”

“Go and search…yahi kahi room mein hogi…” He said and sat on the couch while Abhi ran to all the rooms and opened the room where Nandini is present.

“Nandu…” He called her slowly and she ran to him and hugged him tightly.

“Bhai….” She cried.

He took her to the living room while Manik made a face like he is not interested in their drama.

When Abhi was checking her body whether she is fine or not, he saw the finger impressions on her cheek which tempered him a lot. He immediately held Manik’s collar and shouted “How dare u….How dare u slap my sister….??”

“Abhi…Abhi…Abhi….Never repeat this mistake of holding my collar or raising your voice at me…(He again pointed towards Abhi’s heart ) and ab yaha jo feeling ho raha hai na, usko dard kehthe hai…u know pain….pain by seeing your loved ones suffering………and now coming to her….As I said, I can do whatever I want….She is my wife….biwi hai meri….You wanna see…” Manik smirked and pulled Nandini holding her hand and he raised his hand to slap her but at the same time, someone turned Manik around and slapped across his face.

He was shocked and said in tears “Maa…”

“Math bol mujhhe Maa….Mar gayi teri Maa….She died that day itself when u raised ur hand on a girl…” Nyonika shouted.

That call Abhi made before reaching Nandini’d place was to Manik’s family as he knew only they can stop him. Another reason was to rectify his mistake of separating them.

“Maa Please…” Manik held her hand.

She jerked his hand and said “Did I teach u this Manik..?? Really…?? When did u turn like this…??”

“I didn’t change Mom…These two has made me like this…” He reasoned.

“Oh shut up Manik….Whatever they have done was right…” She said making everyone shocked.

“Mom….!!!” Manik was beyond shocked.

“Haa…Whatever they did was right from their point of view…What will u do if Navya demands for a boy she loves and we, being parents didn’t agree just because he is not of our community…??” She asked.

“If that boy is good, I’ll try to convince you that community doesn’t matter if Navya can live happily with him…” He answered looking at Navya.

“And what if that person is not good at his behavior and just manipulated Navya..??” She asked again.

“I’ll make Navya understand about him and show her the actual him…” He answered again.

“Will u leave us or Navya if at all we didn’t get convinced…??” She asked.

“I can never do that Mom…” He cried.

“Then why Manik…?? Why u chose this way to make Nandini understand about relations…?? Why can’t u make her understand in your actual way…??? You can easily convince her or make her understand what u wanna tell her….But no…U chose the most terrific way I’ve ever expected from u Manik….Wo bechari pyaar hi toh karthi hai tujhse…kuch aur galthi ki thi kya…??” She asked while holding Manik’s hands and he cried a little more.

“I didn’t mean to hurt her Mom…” He said while Nandini was looking at the family being in her bhai’s arms.

“But u did Manik…U had hurt her,,me,,ur dad and everyone….” She said and about to leave but Manik stopped her saying “I’m sorry Mom…”

“Manik…one last question…did u….did u force her…??” She asked and Nandini cried more keeping her head on Abhi’s chest.

Manik sat on his knees and palmed his face saying “I became monstrous Mom..but not an animal…I didn’t even touch her without her consent… I even loved her obsession towards me Mom…”

Nyonika sat in front of him and hugged him and he snuggled like a baby in his mother’s arms.

“Aunty…” Nandini called slowly while joining her hands.

Everyone looked at her in shock and confusion.

“I should not talk in between…But…Can I say something…” She asked bending her head down. Nyonika went towards her and held her joined hands, ruffled her hairs and said “Bolo beta..”

“Aunty.. we never experienced parents’ love or care…All I have is my brother…May be because of that fear of losing people, I wanted Manik all for myself…I wanted the person whom I love the most, to be with me forever…But I misunderstood the meaning of love…Love doesn’t come by being selfish…When Manik asked not to talk to my brother, it did hurt but it didn’t make me realize what I have done to him…But later.,, whenever Manik hurt me, I realized my Bhai’s unconditional love and then I understood what Manik has left behind, just because of me…Though Manik chose the wrong way, it made me realize what I have missed and where I went wrong…

My bhai’s love turned me into an arrogant girl while my love turned Manik into a monster…But he never misbehaved with me Aunty…Because u didn’t bring him up in that way…Trust me aunty…He was not completely wrong…” She said while Manik looked at her with a blank face.

“Kaash…hamare pass bhi koi hothe to make us understand what’s wrong and right…But aunty….ho sake toh mujhe maaf kar dijiye because I tried to separate ur son from u…Now…I’ll never come to trouble u…Take care Manik…Forgive me for all I have done…Bye…” She said and was about to leave.

“Maafi maang ka raise chali nahi jaathe beta…U have to be there till they forgive u…” Nyonika said.

Nandini turned back wiping her tears and said “Sorry aunty…boliye…I’ll do whatever u ask me to do…”

“Kuch bhi karogi..??” She asked and Nandini nodded.

“Ok then…Aunty nahi Maa keh ke bulaao mujhe..” Nyonika said making Nandini shock, crazy, happy and what not.

She immediately hugged Nyonika and said “Maa…” for the first time in her life while Abhi was overwhelmed with happiness.

“Sshh…Bas…rothe nahi…And u are not going anywhere…U are coming with us…and u’ll stay with us…” Nyonika said but Nandini looked at Manik.

“Nandini…I’m sorry….I know I was wrong but intention was different…Yes I crossed my limits and hurt u beyond repair…will u forgive me and be a part of my life and family…Even I’m obsessed with your obsession and LOVE + ARROGANCE…” Manik said and held his ears.

She smiled a little and looked at Abhi.

“Why u r looking at me..?? Anyways, u’ll do whatever u want to do…So…ur wish…” Abhi said and chuckled.

“Bhai…”She faked a pout and hugged Manik.

“Abhi beta…U also come with us…U can’t stay away from ur sister na…” Nyonika said.

“No aunty…Thanks for that…But…Like every girl, she has go to her in-laws’ house and I should visit her once in a week…if that’s not a problem…” Abhi said politely.

“Problem hai..” Nyonika said and Abhi became worried.

“Nandini ke liye Maa hu…aur tere liye ab bhi Aunty…?? Not fare…” She said and Abhi hugged her saying “Thank you so much Maa…”

Abhi bid bye to everyone after Manik apologized to him too and the new family went to Manik’s place to start a fresh.
