《Arrogance , and you . | Min Yoongi [COMPLETE]》Chapter 14

What could I do, she was so, so alluring. Looking at her in a bathrobe, I felt little sparks shooting up my spine.
Min Yoongi, you're 22 years old, control your hormones.
I wasn't going to be indecent and rape her, I just wanted her by my side.
"Have you lost your mind?"
"I'm not going to rape you." I lowered my voice and walked closer to her.
Pushing her onto the bed, I laid a finger on her lips.
"Shut up before the staff hear you."
"You're mad!" She stood up and walked to the door, trying to open it.
"It's been locked by a key, you can only open it if you have the keys." I jingled the keys in my pocket, lying shamelessly. The windows could be opened without a key.
"Forget it." She mumbled and walked over to the armchair next to the window.
"So, you'll stay here?" I asked.
"Mmm..." she hummed softly. I watched her pick up a pen and write on a piece of paper. There, she was probably going to stay for a while longer before going to sleep.
Satisfied, I turned away from the window and settled into my bed, well aware of her presence still in the room.
I lay in the bed for a while, thinking about the events in the day. It had been exciting, I had even managed to take Hye Rin out for lunch. And now she was in my house. She could be a proper wife, I could imagine myself spending my whole life with her. I reflected on my own choices and wondered what I could do for her tomorrow.
It was going to be a working day, there wasn't much time for me to spend with her, apart from lunch break. What would she want to do? Maybe I should ask her.
"Hye Rin ah!"
No reply.
"Hye Rin!"
Silence.
"Aishh...I'm in my perfect position on the bed already, it's so comfortable, don't make me have to turn..." I whined.
And then I heard something click.
"Oh, good. You're still there. Right, where do you want to go during lunch break tomorrow?"

The silence attacked again.
"Yah! Answer me, or I'll have to punish you!" I growled.
When no reply came, I resigned to my fate and sat up in the bed, rather grumpy. Rubbing my eyes a little, I realised that Hye Rin was no longer in the armchair, and neither were her belongings.
She seemed to be gone, without a trace.
"Hye Rin?"
I stood up and walked around the room, searching for her. She was no where to be found. I sighed and took a seat in the armchair, wondering where she could have gone. It was just then that I felt a strong breeze ruffle my hair.
Strange, hadn't I always liked my windows closed? I reached over to close the window when I caught sight of a note taped to the windowsill.
I'm not staying- Hye Rin
My eyes widened when I finally realised why the window was open. She had left by the window. I peered out into the darkness and looked downstairs, the pool was right there, shimmering under the lights that lit it up. Hye Rin was no where to be seen.
The clicking sound earlier on, it had to be the sound of Hye Rin opening the windows. I groaned inwardly and walked to the bathroom to check how I looked. Basically fine, except for the face that I was in my pyjamas. But they were black, so I threw on a blazer and walked out of the room.
"Mrs Jung, I'm going out for a stroll now!" I called.
"Stay safe!" she hollered back.
Grabbing my keys, I rushed out of the front door and checked my watch. It was 10 pm already. Where could the girl be, at this time in the night? Had she gone home?
I tried my best to recall her address that she had given me earlier on and keyed it into Google Maps. I reached the house half an hour later, my legs were sore and I was feeling extremely tired.
The property was very small compared to my own, and I couldn't help but notice that all the windows were shut and the curtains were drawn, there wasn't even a hint of light in them. She didn't appear to be home. I tried to ring the doorbell anyway, but nobody answered.

I was getting desperate, so I hammered on the door and yelled her name loudly.
"Who are you? Can you keep the noise down? My cats are distressed!" A voice came from the next house.
"I'm looking for Hye Rin!" I wailed.
"The girl that lives alone there? She hasn't been back since she left the house this morning, I would know because she really likes my cats and always comes to visit me after she gets off work. But I haven't heard from her today, so I assumed she was staying over at a friend's place or something." an old lady explained, holding a cat in her arms like a baby while peering out of the window.
"Oh. Thank you." I gave a low bow and left.
Hye Rin wasn't home. She was gone.
And it was probably my fault.
Depressed and discouraged, I walked wherever my feet would take me.
Turning to look at Yoongi, he seemed to be sleeping peacefully. It didn't seem right to spend my night in the same room as my own boss, so I decided to leave. I didn't have the keys, but I did realise the windows would be easy to open. Scribbling a quick note to him, I waited for a chance to escape.
Yoongi called my name a few times, but I decided not to respond, eventually, I knew I couldn't wait any longer. I opened the window with a sharp click and shimmied down the house, grabbing onto pipes to slide down safely.
And then I bolted.
Yoongi already knew my address, if he had listened properly earlier on, so I knew I couldn't go home. I walked the streets briskly, keeping my head down to avoid the icy wind of the dark night that whipped my hair around wildly.
I passed my own house and stared at it for a moment before continuing on. Eventually, I found myself standing in front of a nightclub. Having nowhere else to go, I stepped inside and winced at how loud the place was.
Staying around Yoongi kind of made me feel like a bird of paradise that was caged in captivity. I was well treated but freedom was not something I was allowed to have, in a sense. He had a very protective, dominant way about him.
It was nice to know that I would be well looked after if I was with him, but I was someone who couldn't stand being bound to somewhere by force. At least I had left him a note, so he wouldn't worry.
He had been really nice to me and I appreciated that, but for some reason, through the things that had already happened, I couldn't feel myself falling for him.
Should I just call off the bet with him tomorrow at work? It seemed a wise thing to do.
Sighing, I stumbled over to a stool at the bar and called for a drink. I didn't necessarily have high alcohol tolerance, so by five shots of tequila I was drunk pretty badly.
I stood up and walked over to the dance floor and began to do some awkward dancing with random people I barely knew. I was having fun.
"Hey lady...want to go home with me tonight?"
"Uh, maybe later, when I stop seeing rabbits hopping around on your shirt..." I slurred an answer to the brown haired stranger next to me.
"Come on, it'll be fun! We can do things that will make you beyond happy..." He tugged at my clothes.
"No go away!" I mumbled and continued to dance.
All of a sudden, a handsome stranger, clad in pink came stumbling towards me.
"Aw sir~~! You're looking like a whole snack!" I cooed.
"Let's go somewhere where we can be alone."
"Anywhere with you, my saviour~!" I yelled brazenly as he took me by the arm and pulled me with him.
I was drunk but did I care?
Probably not.
Would I live to regret it?
Probably.
