"fuck, patrick!"
"oh yeah, y/n!"
"harder, dadd—"
"alright, quit. we get it." y/n groans, snuggling deeper into the couch in belch's living room.
the hockstetter boy sighs, about to reach his hand around her shoulder but stops as she slaps him away.
"damn, someone's in a shit mood."
"fuck you, you fucking fuck." the female glances up at belch and her cousin with tears in her eyes, huffing deeply.
the lanky boy beside her, her boyfriend, feels a sudden panic within him as he realizes what she's about to do.
just when her hands grip the bottom of patrick's shirt—her entire wardrobe was filled with them—he snatches them away from it, his hands gripping her wrist tightly.
"not now." he mutters.
at this time, the other two boys of the gang are staring in confusion, and a small hint of fear is in henry's eyes.
"what? what is it?"
"let go of me, pat." y/n whimpers, her feelings and senses were hightened at the moment, they have been for the past two months.
"baby, you're not in the right state of mind right now, so please…"
he trails off as his eyes lock with hers. he immediately knows what she's about to do, his eyes watching as her bottom lip quivers.
he shakes his head, letting go of her wrists to cover her mouth, his other hand resting on the small of her back as he rushes her to the bathroom.
they come back a few minutes later, belch and henry are now seated on the loveseat across from the couch, awaiting an explanation.
y/n sighs, lifting up her shirt, her eyes still watery and her breathing is heavier than normal.
"holy shit, y/n/n." belch chuckles, standing up and giving her a hug.
she giggles, nodding as a wave of excitement rushes through her veins.
"i don't get it." henry still stares between the three confusedly, scratching the back of his head.

"you're going to be an uncle, bowers." patrick snorts at his friends oblivion.
it still takes the mullet wearing boy a few minutes before his face lights up, skin turning red as he lets out an excited cheer.
"so that explains why you skipped the last week of school. oh my god, and those mood swings. and that time you ate literally everyone's foo—"
"yes, dork."
"rude!" he playfully punches her arm, "okay, now onto a different topic...what are we gonna do?"
y/n shrugs.
"what can we do? we're done with highschool, there's no way we're going to college. or at least i'm not, especially with this little one. we grew up as low lives, we don't have anything to gain and we sure as hell don't have anything to lose. maybe someday in the future we can try and get the hell out of this town but for now, all we have is the roof's above our heads and each other."
"i've been screwing greta." henry suddenly speaks after a long silence, none of them really knew what else to say after y/n.
"wha—henry bowers, you're gonna get crabs!" the small-bellied, y/s/c skinned female nearly cackles.
"hey, shut it! you're over here bouncing on patrick's dick, you don't hear me complaining!" her cousin bites back, causing belch, patrick, and even y/n herself to gasp.
"okay, i think that's enough for now. belch, why don't you run and get some food for everyone?"
the huggins boy rolls his eyes, nonetheless grabbing his jacket and keys to head out.
henry, patrick, and y/n spend their waiting time watching television, y/n cuddled into her cousin's side with patrick on the other.
it was moments like this that y/n, patrick, and even henry absolutely adored.
family was very important to them, though it may have taken many incidents and unusual circumstances for them to realize it.
any problems that would come there way, they'd face together.
a harsh knock interrupts their heartfelt moment. all three young adults stare at it in confusion—belch could not have gone all the way into town for food and then back that quickly.

patrick makes a move to open it but the y/e/c eyed female glares at him, shaking her head. she stands up very steadily, her hand instinctively resting on her stomach.
the loud knocking is heard once again, this time more frantic than the other.
"who is it?" y/n calls, her hand resting on the door knob.
"police, open up!" the sound of the authoritive voice causes her heart rate to speed up, her eyes wide and glancing back at henry and patrick.
"shit." she hears her cousin mutter, and that only makes her worry some more.
the other night, the two of them had gone out, not returning til early in the morning, before sunrise. at the time, y/n had thought nothing of it but now? now she could only assume they had done the worst.
"you have ten seconds to open up or we're coming in!"
she doesn't hesitate to yank the door open, coming face to face with a group of five or six derry policemen.
"t-to what do i owe thee pleasure?" she tries her best to act unphased, but fear is pulsing in her veins.
"those two. they're coming with us." the man in the front pushes past her, not at all gently. she stumbles backwards, causing patrick to stand.
"hey! you can't just barge in here without a warran—"
just as the word is to fall from his lips, another officer lifts a warrant.
the rest of the men pile in, buckling handcuffs onto both boys.
y/n stands silently against the wall, biting her bottom lip to prevent a whimper from escaping.
patrick's eyes lock with hers and he suddenly feels awful.
he was hurting her, again.
he wished he could turn back time and redo everything the right way.
if he had known that this would be the outcome, he would have never made the mistakes he had,
mistakes like this.
the policemen all begin to make there way outside with the bowers and hockstetter boy. y/n follows close behind, by now tears are falling frantically down her cheeks.
as patrick is being shoved into the backseat of the car, she shoves her way past the officers and wraps her arms around the tall boy, the boy she loved and would love forevermore.
"i'm going to get you out, the both of you." she whispers, pressing her lips against his. he puckers his lips, meeting her in a soft, passionate, kiss.
"i'm sorry, lil' bit." he replies, but she only shakes her head.
"don't do that. it's gonna be okay, yeah?" y/n forces a laugh, her eyes never leaving his pain filled blue ones, "i love you, patrick hockstetter. i love everything about you and i'm so thankful to have met you and i'm so happy to be carrying your child and i promise, you'll be out soon. we'll be right here waiting for you with open arms."
"alright, enough of that." an officer interferes, grabbing the shorter female's arm and pulling her away.
she doesn't put up much of a fight, but her eyes never, not once, leave patrick's. she needed him to know that this wouldn't change anything.
everyone makes mistakes, and yes it may be torture while it's occuring but you get over it. you move on and you become an even stronger, better version of yourself.
y/n waves goodbye to both her cousin and her boyfriend as the cars begin to slowly drive past her.
“i’ll see ya!” she calls after the car that patrick is in, a small, sad smile adorning her face when she sees him turn around to face her.
"not if i see you first." the boy replies, though he knows by now he's way too far for her to hear him.

The view of a someone so desperately working out is not a delight either." I retorted in a weary voice. "I bet it isn't." he narrowed his eyes at me and commented. Ugh.. Why is he so damn annoying?
