《Alaska: Queen of the Vampires》Chapter 7: Sweet Creature

One month later...
Just like all the other days that she went down to the station, she expected the detective to say, "We're doing our best, Miss Ivanov." One month had passed but yet there was no black box to be found. What was Arian doing with Noah's body? Noami very rudely refused to keep security guards stationed around the house.
She'd get nightmares of Arian drinking the girl's blood and then smiling at her with his blood stained lips. She'd get up panting and would never get sleep after that. Her weekly evening walks were the only thing that she looked forward to.
Every Sunday evening, Avian would accompany Alaska on a walk in the woods or sometimes just to feed the horses in the stable to see if she would have a mental breakdown anytime soon. Arian didn't want any trouble, he had told her. Avian and Ally didn't speak at all but his presence comforted her even though the red haired prince was condescending.
Arian? MIA for a month.
"I'm here for-
"Detective Lockwood," the man grinned. The old guard had been very fond of Alaska and even offered her some cookies every time she visited. "You know the drill, child," the man said with a teasing smile. And she did know it. Just like always she walked to the detective's office and waited until she was told to enter.
"What about the girl; Naomi?" She heard a voice speak.
"We've been following her but we lose her in the jungle every night. We should just ask her, boss," a man spoke gruffly.
"We can't do that. The kid is troubled but she is also our main suspect. Follow her in the day time and tap her phone without letting her know. It's time to play bad cop now," the woman said.
"Will do, boss."
Then the door opened.
Aaaah!! This is awkward!
"Miss Ivanov," the man acknowledged her and walked out before giving the detective a second glance. Ally smiled at the detective and walked in. She looked around the office just like always. The detective was a serious neat freak. Not a single thing out of place. Hell, she even had a washing machine in her office.
"Any news, detective Shay?" Alaska asked.
The detective hated being called by her first name.
"We're doing our best, Miss Ivanov," she said politely.
Well, I'll have to play the good cop then!
She just wished Naomi wouldn't catch her spying on her. Ally sat outside Noah's house waiting for his sister to leave. She dressed in black leather pants, a black t-shirt, black vans and put on some cherry lip balm. Lipstick or lipgloss wasn't really her thing. She sat on the soft grass while googling something.
"How to lose weight in one day," she murmured as she typed.
While eating potato chips.
She yawned when she realised that it had been two hours since her little picnic on the road facing Noah's house. It was 10pm but of course, her parents wouldn't give a shit as long as she didn't get knocked up by someone. "A condom a day keeps a baby away," Teresa Ivanov would tell her daughter. Just as she was about to fall asleep, the door creaked open.

Naomi came out wearing denim shorts and a tight crop top. Where could she possibly be going wearing that? Ally put the chips back in her bag and followed her swiftly. They'd been walking in the forest for almost 45 minutes and Ally was more than grateful that she didn't run into Ice. She suddenly turned west and a pale yellow building came into view.
A few drunkards lingered around the motel. Naomi walked in and Ally waited for a few seconds before following her through the main entrance. She was immediately blinded by blue lights. Naomi walked through a horrifying main room. Half naked girls serviced old and drunken men while kneeling down on the floor or straddling the men. It was horrifying especially to a modest virgin like Alaska Ivanov.
What is Naomi doing here?
Noah wouldn't want her to see a site like that but Ally told herself that she was doing it for her best friend. Naomi walked up to the receptionist and muttered something. The lady nodded and handed her a key. Ally watched from behind a curtain. All of a sudden, a hand gripped her shoulder lightly.
"Boo!"
Ally shrieked and turned behind while holding her hand to her chest, trying to calm herself down. The drunk man who had caught her, laughed and walked away. She huffed and looked back to where Naomi was previously standing. She had gone.
"Excuse me, can you tell me which room did that girl go to?" Ally asked the receptionist.
"I can't tell you," the lady shrugged.
"Please! She's my sister," she lied.
"Then ask her yourself," the lady said with a pointed look.
"Fuck you," she muttered.
"Excuse me?" The lady growled.
"I said, thank you," Ally smiled and walked away.
She thought about Noah. Where was he? Who took him away? She huffed angrily and walked away. She heard that dark and intimidating voice that made her stop in her tracks. Arian had his arm around a blonde chick as he spoke to the manager before entering a private lounge. Her brain told her to leave but her heart wanted to know who the girl was. "You can't enter, ma'am," the manager said, blocking the entrance.
"She's with me to have a good time. Aren't you, sweetheart?" An old man grinned while wrapping his arm around her waist.
Don't do this... her brain warned.
The girl with Arian giggled at something that he said.
"Yes, I am," she said. The manager allowed her to enter along with the old creep that held on to her firmly. She saw Arian walking into a conference room so she followed. The old man pulled her back to him. "Not there. I wanna do it here, cunt," he whispered into her ear. Ally stiffened. Was that girl Arian's girlfriend? Did what happened in his room the other day mean nothing to him? Was he really toying with her?
"I need to leave," she said, trying to pull away from the hold of the old man but he refused. The room was soundproof, he told her. She lost all hope. Arian wouldn't hear her if she screamed. He was a dick but he wouldn't let anyone hurt her... deep down, she knew that. "Let me go!" Ally demanded but the man paid no attention.

He placed his cold chappy lips on her shoulder and sucked on it as she tried to move away to no avail. "I'm gonna fuck you so hard, slut," he moaned. She started panicking when his hand slipped inside her shirt and grabbed her left breast. Tears welled in her eyes as she begged him to leave her. It only turned the old pedophile on further. He tried slipping his free hand into her pant. She remembered Noah's advice.
Knee the man in his crotch and run!
She did exactly that. But she didn't run out of the lounge like the man expected her to. She ran into the conference room and to her luck, the door was unlocked. All the men turned to look at her. She pushed the blonde away from Arian and jumped into his arms, clinging to him like her life depended on it.
Arian let her cry in his arms for a while, unbothered by the fact that his people were dying out of curiosity. He pulled away after a while and wiped away her tears with his thumb. She felt butterflies in her stomach. The man entered the room, breathing heavily and stomped towards her. One look from Arian was enough to make him stop moving. Ally shivered when the old creep looked at her.
Arian felt her fear.
"What did he do, kitten?" He asked softly. The people in the room knew better than staying in the same room as an angry Vampire king. All of them left. It was just Arian, Alaska and the old pervert. She whimpered and shook her head, holding his hand tightly. "He t-touched me," she whispered, unable to meet his gaze.
He wanted to set the world on fire.
The mere thought of someone touching her lustfully made him want to rip everyone to shreds. He took a deep breath and sighed. "Let's have a talk, shall we?" He asked cheerfully. Ally didn't have the strength to stop him. She didn't want to. The man fearfully stepped out of the room along with Arian.
He knew what was coming. For almost ten minutes she heard painful groans and cries of mercies. Yet, she felt no remorse. People like him deserved to be beaten up. The door opened and Arian entered, pulling out a neatly folded white handkerchief and wiping the blood off his hands.
"Come here."
The words were simple and innocent yet so possessive and demanding.
She walked over to him and let him pull her into his arms. It was in that moment that she realised that Arian Ice was a paradox. An enigma that she would never be able to understand completely. The man in front of her would never hurt her. Or would he? He pulled away and looked into her eyes intensely, trying to feel her emotions once again. "Your parents aren't at home. Come home with me," he said. She nodded obediently.
In her defence, his bed was really comfortable.
He wrapped his arm around her waist as they left the building. She was completely unaware that the old man's dead body had been dumped into the garbage bin behind the building. Once they were out, he teleported them to his room back at the palace. He smiled to himself, feeling the déja vu.
The month had passed awfully slowly. He was attached to the human but he couldn't figure the reason out. He handed her a t-shirt. A few minutes later, she peaked from the bathroom and then walked out shyly.
He walked towards her in order to take her old clothes but she thought he was going to try something funny. She jumped onto the bed and got under the covers. He raised his hands in surrender as he walked to the bathroom to change. Minutes later, unlike her, he walked out wearing black sweatpants without a shirt on. He decided to sleep on the couch.
... his Vamp side teased.
Oh, shut up! She'll be scared to be alone!
... his Vamp teased.
Fuck off, leech.
He blocked his vamp side and then sat on the couch and looked at the human in front of him. She was impressed with his manners but she felt guilty. She sighed defeatedly. Sometimes being kind hearted sucks! "You can sleep in the same bed as me but no trying any hanky-panky stuff on me!" She warned. She'd never slept in the same bed as a boy before so she pulled out a pillow and arranged a wall separating the two of them.
Arian shook his head and laughed as he made his way to the bed. "First of all, no one says hanky-panky anymore!" He chortled. "Do you fancy me, Miss Ivanov?" He teased. Alaska looked at him and blushed in embarrassment before she playfully glared at him.
Aaah of course I do, you sexy noodle!
"Serial killers are not really my type." She chuckled.
"Goodnight, Sydney," he laughed.
"Night, Ice." She smiled.

: I just realised that Ally and Noah are from the notebook. It was seriously a mere coincidence.

Fated Nirvana || Completed ✅
The Fated Series. Book #1. "A single minute without her in my arms and it felt like a lifetime." - Mateo Ramos My name is Mateo Adam Ramos. I was born into a family who's bleed for their reputation, and built us into being one of the most dangerous families to exist. You hear my name... you run. I for one am determined to continue upholding that reputation because that's in my blood. But things are never that simple, are they? Feeling and emotions got involved, and everything I thought I knew, vanished the second I met her. A soft souled, beautiful brown eyed girl who gleams with goodness found her way into my life. I shouldn't have played the good samaritan, that was my fault. I don't want to know goodness, and yet I'm drawn in like it's the light to cure my sins. This goodness has a name, and a face of salvation and I for one know I shouldn't get involved. Guess what I do? I get involved. Because even if I don't want too that's not really how fate works, is it? You don't pick and choose fates plan, you get slammed with it and good luck to your poor soul. This is my story, the kind that was written years before I was even born, and now I'm living it. Watch me make a mess of it too, because after all, I wasn't born to follow. P.S. This book is technically #1, but I have a book before this one that's about their parents. You learn more, and get a clue about their parents and why they are the way they are. Some of the conversations in this book would make more sense by knowing the past. It's not as well written, but if you can get thought it, I promise you'll love this one even more. Of course if you rather start here, then you do you! It will make sense either way! I tired to fill in all the gaps without it getting overbearing. You can always hop back to the book before this after.
