《Dazai x reader - sleeping beauty》Part 2

"We begin with an attack on a co-worker for an enemy organization known as the Armed Detective Agency" Akutagawa began to explain. "It's a detective agency made up of talented ability users like us. We're currently at war with them and I have a bone to pick with a few of their agents. It'll be just you and I on this mission, I'd like to test your abilities on a certain newcomer... have you any objections?" His face didn't reflect one that was particularly willing to listen to any objections, so you only nodded obediently. "Who's our target?" You asked hoping to be able to locate them once you spotted someone that matched the description. "Nakajima Atsushi, a few years younger than you with white hair and the ability to transform into a menacing tiger. He's expected to pass by a location near the center of the city where we'll be waiting to attack." Answered Akutagawa with his head hung low. "Let's get going" he said making his way to the door.
A cold burst of air bled through as the sun was revealed to you from behind the thick doors of the port mafia HQ. Akutagawa made his way through the streets with haste as you followed meekly behind. People stared at the odd couple as you were both dressed in the deepest of blacks and reflected the darkest of life's moments in your eyes. "Wow..." you heard voices in the crowd of people speak under their breaths, "did they just walk out of the Port Mafia headquarters?!"
Akutagawa led you to a dark ally and instructed you to wait as he kept an eye out for the young ability weirder. You waited for what seemed like only a moment before Akutagawa dragged a young sliver haired male by the leg with his ability and threw him up against the wall. The target, who you assumed to be Nakajima-kun, coughed up a large clump of blood and fell to his knees. You were hesitant and didn't know what to do before Akutagawa gave you the instruction to touch Nakajima. By this time, Atsushi was already morphing into his tiger-form but was unable to continue as you tapped his furry shoulder from behind. He quickly morphed back into his original form and collapsed upon the ground unconsciously. 30 seconds later, you too passed out, but not before you witnessed a man in a long trench coat turn the corner. His glowing eyes seemed to level with yours if for just a moment.

"Interesting." The dark haired man said examining the scene as you slept upon the cold hard ground. "What ability have we here?" He slowly made his way to your lifeless body as Akutagawa scowled and summoned Rashomon to attack. The demon only disappeared upon simply touching the stranger making the frown on Akutagawa deepen. "You and that girl have the same ability!" Akutagawa bragged awaiting a shocked reaction from the other male. "I've seen enough. It appears you haven't thought this through very well." the stranger said shaking his head and lowering to one knee. "Arise, my sleeping beauty." He said tapping your forehead with his soft bandage hand. Upon this action, your eyes opened and you looked around unaware of what was going on. "W-what...?" You questioned unable to make sense of the situation. You looked up at a smiling brunet dressed in a light brown trench coat. His hair was slightly curly and his eyes where the darkest Carmel brown you'd ever seen. His arms and neck where coated in bandages for reasons unknown. Akutagawa's eyes widened. "What the hell?!" He exclaimed. "I'm afraid your new companions ability is not the same as 'No Longer Human'" said the handsome shadow before you. "Her ability is to make people fall asleep with the touch of her finger. Similar to that of a certain spindle if you'll mind my reference." He smiled playfully teasing the steam out of your partner. "I do believe the reason you may have mistaken it for "No Longer Human" is because it nullifies others ability once the weirder has fallen asleep. Duh. however 30 seconds after she uses it against someone, she reaches the same fate. I'm the only one who can wake her by disabling her ability." Flashbacks raced through your mind like a haunting nightmare. The stranger noticed your fearful expression and took your hand in his. "I'm going to assume your ability goes by the name of 'Sleeping Beauty', would it not?" The long smile creasing his lips was almost comforting before Akutagawa's punch washed it away. "Now, now." The unknown man said struggling to his feet moments later, "I simply cannot allow the cruel Mafia take custody of such a fine young lady." He wiped his cheek as his gaze directed to you. "I'm giving you a chance, touch Akutagawa now and I'll protect you." The determined expression on such a handsome face made you melt easily. You wanted to trust him so bad, however you didn't know this man. "NOW!" His exclamation caused you to act without thinking and you quickly jumped to touch Akutagawa who fell to the ground seconds later. "Brilliant!" The man cheered just before you passed out once again.
