(After a month)

Their late-night calls were so special for both of them. They don't miss a chance to talk late at night even if they are sleepy. But Advith is so busy these days. He has to complete the project before the deadline anyhow. So he couldn't talk to Elira for three continuous days. And Elira was snappy and sulky because of this. But when she couldn't endure it, when she had enough of this, she sent a very angry but cute message to Advith,

" I know you are busy, you don't have time, blah, blah, but you have to make time for me, I don't care if I am nagging or something I just want your attention".

Advith was working on his laptop, when his phone pinged, his poker face immediately changed to a smiling face once he has seen her message

"Oh! So she wants my attention. I knew it baby, you just act tough but you do miss me"

'Well a little break would not be harmful I guess', he thought while looking at his workload.

It was late night already so he texted "Are you awake?"

Elira replied immediately with a "No"

Advith laughed at her cute response. 'Typical Elira'

"Then I guess it's the Mr. Ghost who lives with my baby right? Oh well, I wanted to say hi to you Mr Ghost for a long time you know."

Elira's eyes widened and she scaredly looked around her and unconsciously pulled her duvet and wrapped it around herself looking like a burrito, a cute one.

Scaredly she called him "Why would you say something like that in the middle of the night?" she wailed.

"You are so bad, you didn't even miss me, not even a single text or call. You don't like me anymore I know" she cried.

At which Advith felt his heart hurt after listening to her concerns. Now he understood what she felt. She felt ignored by him and that's totally his fault and now only he can make her understand what she means to him.

Advith interrupted her blabber with "You are right! I don't like you anymore"

Elira let out a shocked "What?"

before she starts another crying session she heard him further

"Because

Elira felt her breath was knocked out for a few seconds that she forgot to breathe. But soon her cheeks adorned natural pink jewel which made her look like a dream.

Advith continued

"You know baby, talking to you is everything to me. It makes my night before going to sleep and it makes my day when I wake up. Our conversations mean more than you will ever know sweetheart "

Elira bit her lips shyly while listening to his heart felt confession and she couldn't utter a word.

Advith being the mature one totally understood her condition and with the loving voice he said

"I know my baby is shy and probably blushing her face out and don't want to talk right now but always remember baby, and I love you. Now sleep and dream about me. I'll call you tomorrow yeah?"

Elira let out a soft whisper saying "good night"

"good night jaan"

with that, he cut the call and continued to look at the moon and thought about how someone can become this important to him that too in a such short duration.

Elira was done with her college and badly wanted to see him. So she made some excuse to her family about going shopping with Piya and went to his office to see him.

But once she reached the building waiting for the elevator she thought "Why the heck am I here? He must be busy, I shouldn't disturb him" and pouted at her concerns.

As she was about to turn to go back, she heard some of the employees talking, so she kind of eavesdropped on them.

Employee 1 - "Advith sir has fired six employees already today. It looks like he is out on a mission to fire us."

Employee 2 - "But why he is this much angry? His face looked so dangerous. Oh my god! I am getting scared, what will happen to me? I wonder who can save us from his rage."

After listening to them she felt scared but suddenly excited as she has not seen him angry ever. She wanted to see him badly now.

Elira thought 'I can do it. Yeah, take a deep breath, now breathe out and repeat. Yeah! Good, feeling good. He won't be angry at me, right? No, He won't. And if he gets, then just chomp him and run away, yeah, good idea!'

She planned 'wisely' and took cautious steps to his office,

as Advith's secretary know who she is to his boss, he let her in easily.

Elira knocked and came a very furious voice "come in"

Advith was about to snap at the HR manager when someone knocked, he was not in a mood to deal with another moron. He was done for the day, he let out a loud "come in" in anger and was ready to burst out

"WHA-------- Oh! Baby? what are you doing here?"

His attitude totally changed 360 degrees, he asked in surprise. His expression changed from dark to soft just for her.

Elira said with a cute pout on her face "I came to see you! I missed you baby."

HR manager looked too shocked at his change in behaviour. He looked like he was about to faint.

Advith ordered him to get out and he run off to save his a**.

Elira moved towards him and instead of greeting him as she should she just sat on a seat in front of him nonchalantly and demanded

"come with me"

Advith with furrowed eyes "Where?"

"I am taking you on an ice cream date" she replied cheekily.

"Not today-----"

"Yes today-----"

"NO"

" YES"

"Are you serious?"

"Of course, let's go. Today I'm going to pamper you, consider it your lucky day." Elira said while cupping his cheeks way too hard.

"Oh really? Then I might take full advantage" Advith smirked evilly.

Elira went to him and grabbed his hand only to gesture 'let's go'.

Advith grabbed his jacket and was ready to go on a date with his lady.

Elira pulled his hand to her Scooty.

Advith raised his brows in question as Elira started to put on a helmet and gestured for him to get on a seat behind her.

Advith felt like laughing at this.

"You're kidding right?" asked a very much bewildered Advith.

"Come on, don't be a baby now. Get on fast" Elira said while looking around.

"I ain't getting on this damn thing" Advith commented.

"Thing? What do you mean by a thing? Asked a serious Elira.

" why? Isn't it a non-living thing?"

Elira felt like kicking him hard at his bakwaas.

"Stop your tantrums ok" she gritted her teeth annoyingly.

"You can't be serious about it?" he asked desperately.

Elira maintained a poker face even though it was hard all she wanted was to laugh out loud.

Advith pleaded "Please don't do this, I want to live more. I don't wanna die like this."

"Shut up! Otherwise, I'll puncture your precious car" she threatened him.

So he silently gets on the damn 'stupid thing' while praying for his life.

Advith slowly wrapped his arms around her thin waist and made himself way too comfortable behind her.

She stiffened and elbowed him "behave! we are in a public and I don't like PDA okay?"

"Then I can do this in private right?" Advith whispered in her ear naughtily.

Elira blushed "shut up!".

Elira took him to The Carol's which is a famous place for ice creams.

Advith felt like passing out when she stopped her vehicle and told him "We're here, yeah" excitedly.
