•you were new to the server, so you didn't really know your way around quite yet, but karl was absolutely ready to show you around since he knew he can be a very helpful guide as he already is.

•as you were walking around with him around the server, him making you weapons and armor along the way, he became to take a quick liking to you, more than just a friend liking, while you had just considered him a helpful guide since that is what he says to be.

•but karl was determined to make you realize that you and him were meant to be. besides, he is a time traveler after all. he could make it work anyways, right? and that is what he would do.

•so, in order to be by your side for as long as possible, he said that for a bit longer and since you still haven't known the whole server and everyone in it, he would stay by your side to help you "get to know everyone" and to "make sure you have everything you need," even though you truly had everything you need.

•if you were to go out and talk with anyone else around the server to get to know them and/or to ask for food or supplies, karl would know and walk over and act surprised to see you there and act as if he was just walking over to the person to talk with them like old friends.

•the person would always know that karl would only be there for you, but you had absolutely no idea that he was only there for you, despite the obvious signs before, but it didn't ever become a thought in your head at all.

•and everyone else every time they were around you and he would come around, they would get a bad feeling that he was up to no good with you and would try to warn you as obscure as possible, but you didn't catch on to what they were saying.

•karl being a time traveler can be an advantage to him since he can see what he can do to have you with him at all times in this server, not caring as much of the consequences and once he finally understood what he had to do, it was too late for you to back out.
