I woke up to Karl shaking me, forcefully waking me up. "Y-Yes sir?" I was asked to call him sir since I'm "practically his slave".
"I'm going out, don't try to escape." I nodded frantically as he gave me a vile glare. "Come." He walked out and I followed him downstairs. As I got to the bottom of the stairs he already was ready to leave. "Come give me a kiss goodbye Alex." A grim smirk plastered onto Karl's face as I walked closer towards him.
"Yes sir..." I anxiously gave him a quick kiss on the lips and pulled away from him. He held my chin.
"I expect more later." He stared me up and down and left. Little did he know, he wouldn't be around for later.I walked over to the sofa and fell onto it. I scrolled through my contacts and phoned the person who can help me with Wilbur's bail.
"Hello?" I called into the phone.
"Hello?"
"Yes I would like to know how much Wilbur soot's bail is." I got up and began to walk to a money pot that was for emergencies.
"Around £15,000 sir." I started counting the money. £14,500 was in the pot.
"Okay thank you!" I hung up and began to message sapnap.
————————
Me:
Hey sapnap I was wondering if you could lend me £500?
Sapnap:
Sure why do you need it?
Me:
I need to bail wil out and it's £15,000 and I only have £14,500 :(
Sapnap:
Okay I will come over and drop off them money when you go to the police station and see Wilbur tell him I said hi :)

Me:
Ty sapnap so much I appreciate it!!

I waited for sapnap to knock on my door as I flicked through the TV channels. I heard a knock on the door and I ran towards the noise. I opened the door and smiled at the sight of sapnap. "I haven't seen you in forever." He smiled back at me. I grabbed the money that was in the pit and hopped in sapnap's car. He put on the radio to fill the silence. I told him about Karl, how he is back and what he has done. Sapnap said he is going to beat the shit out of him and I hope he does. While driving, a news announcement caught my attention and I turned it up.
"A 18 yr old male was in a car crash this afternoon," there was a long pause "the male has now been identified as Karl Jacobs, he is now in hospital and is barely going to survive." I stared at the road in shock. The radio turned to static and I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Don't feel bad Quackity, you know what he has done." I gulped and nodded.
"Let's just get to the prison." I sighed and rolled down my window. The fresh air hit my face. Eventually, we got to the prison and I paid for Wilbur to be bailed out. While we drove home Wilbur and sapnap talked as I sat in the back and remained silent.
"Alex," Wilbur turned to me from the front seat and held his hand out. I placed my hand in his and he traced his thumb across my knuckles. "Are you okay?" I nodded and he smiled softly at me. My phone began to ring and I pulled it out of my hoodie pocket.

"Hello?"..... "I guess I am.." .......... "H-He's dead?" Wilbur turned to me......."O-Okay thank you for telling me..." I hung up and turned towards the other 2. "Karl's dead." Wilbur gripped my hand tighter.
"I'm sorry I let all this happen baby." His eyes were sympathetically looking at me.
"It's okay, let's go home now." I smiled at him and Sapnap drove us back to our house.

Ode to Fallen Angels
Jericho, the land of humanity, squirms in pain. Magic has been forbidden for so long in this so called "Age of Silence", that all Arcane knowledge has been presumed lost and irrecoverable, and the echoes of God's Will grow fainter with every passing year. The sight of Demihuman caravans is less frequent every day, as the likes of orcs and elves have learned to no longer beg for help from those who despise them. Clearly, they can expect more from the voracious wild lands than from humankind. Many have succumbed to despair, some driven mad by their fruitless efforts to bring back a Golden Age that they only ever read about in books. And in the middle of it all, in an old chapel lost in the Eastern lands, young Gabrielle lives in complete ignorance. She is another orphan living under the mercy of the Church of the Saints; one bearing the mark of evil in her red hair, the telltale sign of a Witch. In an Age of the Silent, the Prejudiced, and the Hateful, she clings to a single hope: that one day, be it in life or maybe after it all ends, she may find herself forgiven of her sin. The sin of being born.
