《Trouble | Harry Styles (REVISING)》Six

In some nearly impossible way, my plan had worked.
"On the way home I noticed a restaurant I had never heard of, so after looking it up, turns out it's really fancy..." I mentioned at dinner.
"That's nice, sweetie." My dad said, sawing his pork-chop off the bone. I waited a few minutes, eating some of my green beans, before speaking, again.
"Hey, didn't you guys skip your anniversary dinner because we were moving?" I acted like I was thinking. My Mom glanced up at me from her dinner, my Dadraising his eyebrow. "Hey, maybe that restaurant can be like a make-up anniversary!"
They locked eyes and the rest was history. A coincidence happened and they planned it for that next day, the Friday I was going to throw my pool party.
After school, I had gotten all the guys and girls together at the park and broke the last minute news.
"So, I was suggested a pool party," I motioned to Niall, who smirked and nodded, "And as you may know, I have a heated pool. But the deal is you cannot make a mess! My Mom and Dad have no idea, they're probably going to come home after a few hours so when I say get out..."
"Deal!" Everyone shouted in unison, then high fived each other.
I told everyone to come over at seven, which gave my parents enough time to leave for their date and me enough time to set things up. I ran outside to the pool heating system turned it on while my parents were distracted. As soon as they stepped out the door, I got to work.
I decided to take the pool cover off, fold it neatly and place it in it's designated chest. I grabbed a pool net hanging from the fence and started running it along the pool, grabbing dead leaves with it. I did what my Dad taught me and cleaned the filter, then threw in a chlorine tablet. I grabbed a few beach towels from the linen closet and set them outside on the pool chairs.

I swept the deck, wiped the table of its dust and collected a few pool toys from the shed. It was nearing seven, so I grabbed a large bowl and scavenged through the pantry. All I could muster up was some Doritos and some tortilla chips, the salsa was half gone, but I discreetly poured it into a bowl as if it wasn't.
I found a stack of solo cups in a cupboard, setting them around neatly. Fortunately for me, my parents enjoyed their liquor, pulling out various alcohols. To my dismay, we had nothing to mix them with except a room temperature bottle of Diet Coke in the pantry. I hoped someone brought drinks, because there was no beer and no mixer.
I jumped when the doorbell rang, my eyes darted to the clock. 7:13 PM. I wasn't even in my bathing suit yet. I shouted, "COME IN!" As I rushed up to my room to change into my usual dusted purple bikini and the white coverup I laid out. I did a fee turns in the mirror, making sure I didn't look dumb. After accepting what I had, I slid downstairs and saw everyone sitting in the kitchen, making a mess. My eyes bulged out of my head as Niall spilled tortilla crumbs on the floor.
"I thought we agreed you wouldn't make a mess!" I sighed, grabbing the large bowls, Niall grabbed the bowl of salsa and we carried them outside to the deck. I set them on the bar, which was a large counter, one side had stools, the other had drinks and cups. I glanced around the eight guests and grabbed the cups and set them out.
Everyone gathered as I pulled out Diet Coke. You could see boredom written on their faces as they poured regular drink into their cups. That's when I pulled out the liquors and they whooped in excitement.

This felt wrong, stealing my parents alcohol, but my friends were happy as they happily mixed it. Zayn had brought a few cases of beer with Liam, so I suppose everyone was happy. Suddenly, the boys took off their clothes and got into the pool, in swimming trunks, thank goodness. The girls began stripping, where as I just took off the coverup I was wearing. I made everyone set their cups away from the pool so they don't spill into it, they behaved and did so. The boys played water basketball and us girls sat inside the floaties and watched the boys, chatting and gossiping.
"So, we should do this when it snows. Do you know how cool that would be?" Noelle suggested, a warm jet of water surrounded my body, as the chill air pricked my arms, which were outside the pool. You could see steam wafting off the water as the night settled in. It was only 8 PM and the stars were out, twinkling brightly. The pool lights came on, RBG lights that cycled colors like a rainbow. Lights on the basketball backboard lit up. Suddenly, Niall got out and ran inside, a few minutes later, loud music played over the speakers, loud guitars pierced my ears. Noelle and I cringed but Ellie screamed, "I love this song!" As Niall ran back and jumped back in.
The pool party had just begun as I took a large swig of my spiked drink. My stomach filled with warmth, my giggles came out. The whole night I had been trying to avoid Harry, the pit I felt for him was overwhelming. After being tipsy, I realized how incredibly attractive he was as he climbed out of the pool to replace his drink.
His tattoos were mesmerizing, his muscular torso had never been prominent until he was shirtless. His wet hair hung down in such an adorable way, I couldn't stop staring.
After another few sips of my drink, my light-weighted tolerance made it so I can take a few sips of alcoholic beverages and suddenly, the party was 50% more fun. I slid out of my floatie and joined the basketball game, climbing on Liams back and threw the ball at the hoop. Not knowing how difficult being drunk and throwing a ball would be, it bounced off the backboard and splashed Niall in the face.
Noelle joined, climbing on Zayn's back and catching the ball before it could score. Suddenly, Liam sunk into the pool taking me with. I quickly resurfaced, giggling like a madwoman and watched Louis score. Ellie remained in her floatie, clapping for her... Well, I'm not sure what they are, but I know they go out.
I felt my eyes land on Harry's, we was watching me now. I glided over to him and smiled, "How's it going?"
"This is actually pretty fun." He replied, floating closer. I could feel the heat from the alcohol on my face, but somehow it grew hotter when Harry got close to me. I felt my arms automatically wrap around his shoulders, my legs clung to his body. "I never thought I'd see you drunk, babe."
My stomach turned and my heart pounded at the sound of him calling me babe. I wanted to hear it more often. "I can be fun when I want to.." I teased.
Being drunk gave me confidence, too much confidence. My poor judgement got the better of me that night.
