Once we pull away, Liam and I look at eachother. I feel like something wrong just happened, but yet, it was completely right. Like it was meant to happen, but wasn't good for either of us.

"I...I should go inside." I say.

"Yeah... You should..." Liam tells me.

"I'll see you around." I exclaim.

"Yeah. Okay." He says, as if he doesn't believe me.

I get out the car not knowing what to feel. Truth is, I wanted Liam to kiss me. I remember what Ashley said my first day here. Sigh, can I still keep my promise to her? Heck, I'm his tutor and we kind of just kissed in his car. My emotions are all over the place. This week has just been hectic.

Needless to say, besides dress shopping tomorrow I was grounded for a week for leaving the house without permission. While I catch up on homework I receive a text.

liam- goodnight, love. sweet dreams.

My mind wanders back to the similar text he sent just a few nights before. Somehow, this one seemed more real.

I wake up and slam my alarm clock. I stumble from bed and head towards the shower. Normally I shower at night, but I got home so late last night, I was too tired to. Once I leave my shower and dry my hair I put on some casual clothes and some makeup. I receive a text.

ashwee- were outside your house, guh. get out here!

I laugh at Ashley's remark and head out the door. I see a red convertible with Emma on the drivers side and Ashley in the passengers.

"Ready?" Emma says.

I nod. I wonder if Emma knows what happened last night. Liam doesn't seem like the type of guy to tell people about what happens to him. Ashley seems completely oblivious that I was even at The Payne's house last night.

Our first stop is the mall.

"Are you going with Zayn?" Ashley asks Emma.

"Duh, aren't you going with Harry?" Emma asks Ashley.

Ashley's face lights up at the sound of Harry's name the same way Emma's do when Zayn's name is mentioned. It's obvious both girls are head over heels for these boys. We walk into a really nice store first. I'm not too used to shopping for expensive clothes. Even my fanciest dresses either come from GoodWill or Target. I'm not really poor, I just don't really see the point in paying hundreds of dollars for a dress to sit in your closet.

"Oooohhhh! I like this one!" Ashley says with excitement as she pulls a pretty forest green dress off the shelf. "You think Harry will like it?" She asks Emma and me.

"I think he'll love it. You should try it on." I tell her.

"You'd look awesome in it, Ash." Emma says.

Ashley smiles and goes to change into her dress.

Ashley looks awesome in the dress she chose out. The dress fits her absolutely perfectly.

"You were made for that dress, Ashley Morgan," Emma tells her.

"You think?" She asks.

"I know," Emma tells her.

"Harry won't be able to take his eyes off of you" I say.

"Speaking of dates, who are you going with, Missy?" Ashley asks.

"Oh... Louis." I say.

"I told you he liked her!! I told you!" Ashley half yells at Emma.

"I guess you were right." Emma says slightly quieter. I think Emma might know... What if she does? Would she tell Ashley? I worry way too much...

"What about this one guys?" Emma asks holding up a pastel blue and black dress.

"I think you'd rock it. Try it on!" Ashley says.

"It seems like it'll bring out your eyes," I tell her.

Both Ashley and I are right. They blue-black combination makes her blue eyes pop, and Emma looks super good in it.

Once they both have their dresses picked out, Ashley asks, "Find any dresses you like?"

I sigh, "To be honest, I'm really bad at shopping. I don't really know what I like." I tell her.

Ashley gasps, "Emma! We have a mission! Find Claire the perfect dress! This'll be fun!" She exclaims.

Some of the dresses they bring to me I really don't like. Others are okay, but they don't really speak to me. Until Emma points out one dress. It goes down to my ankles but is much more of a party dress than a formal dress. It's this beautiful light peach color. It has a little beading on the top with the spaghetti straps, but it's the perfect amount. I walk out with the dress out to show Emma and Ashley.

"I told you we'd make you a hot geek, and I kept my word." Ashley says.

I laugh at her remark, "Thanks, Ashley."

"Pay- Louis will die at the party," Emma says.

She almost said Payne... Something tells me she knows not because of what Liam said, but because of what he did...
