I wake up, my head pounding. Last night, being a complete blur. I notice I'm not in my room, rather in Emma's. I really hope I didn't do anything to embarrass myself last night. Still in my dress from last night, I look around for Emma. I see her in a second bed in her room. Geez, this family is rich. I get up from the bed, not really knowing what to do. I get my phone out and start scrolling through some social media. Nothing stops my terrible headache. I deal with it until Emma gets up. When she gets up, I immediately ask her for Advil.
Emma laughs, "First hangovers are always the worst."
I roll my eyes, and take the medicine she hands me.
"Want some comfier clothes?" Emma asks me.
"Yeah, but you're a lot smaller than me," I admit.
"Maybe Magdaline has some clothes here you can borrow," Emma tells me, "Follow me."
We walk over to a huge bedroom. The room itself is twice the size of my apartment in New York.
"Oh...My...Gosh" I gape.
Emma giggles, "Yeah, my dad likes to live large."
"I see," I say.
Emma digs through a few drawers, only to find inappropriate lingerie.
"Sorry," Emma says.
"It's okay. I could stay in this until I get home. Speaking of, I should probably go home." I tell her.
"You probably shouldn't head home hungover, young lady. You should actually stay a while," Emma says.
"Alright, I don't know much about hangovers. Sorry." I tell her.
She laughs once more, "You know so little it's almost funny."
"Thanks, Em." I sarcastically say.
"You're welcome," she tells me with a smirk.
We walk out the room, and run into...

"Hello, Claire." Liam says with a smile.
"Hey," I tell him without emotion.
"I know you look hot in that dress, but you really don't have to wear it all the time," Liam says in a smart-alec tone of voice.
"Shut up, Payne. She doesn't have any clothes here." Emma snaps.
"She could borrow some of mine," Liam offers.
"They'd be too big," I say.
"True, but they'd be very comfy." Liam explains.
I think it over. Wearing Liam's clothes.... What harm could it bring? I mean, it's really nothing...
"Sure, I guess," I tell him.
Emma stays in the hall as Liam guides me to his bedroom. We walk in, it's big like Emma's, but it doesn't seem like much effort was put into the room. All except for the drawings on the wall. Some taped, some stapled, some nailed in. All completely and utterly gorgeous. I see the dragon he drew in Woodshop my first day hung on the wall. Many other gorgeous sketches of animals, eyes, lonely deserted roads, one is of boxing gloves. Some say words, like "Anger" or "Misfit".
"Woah," I awe.
"Like them?" Liam asks.
"They're gorgeous," I admit.
"Thanks," he says as he grabs a t-shirt and sweat pants. I notice a black sketchbook that reads, "DO NOT OPEN." Unshockingly, it makes me want to open it. I don't want to betray Liam, though. Sure, he's hurt me, but he's also hurt a lot of other people...
Liam taps my shoulder, and hands me his tee and sweats. "You can change in my bathroom," he tells me, and points to a door in his room. I open it and walk in.
The bathroom looks like his room. Pictures scattered about the walls, so many different pictures, but one catches my eye. It's a car, no doubt, in a driveway that looks identical to mine. It's peculiar. Though at the same time, I like the picture. Its nice and simplistic. I look at a different one, this one has two teenagers on a boardwalk holding hands. Theres a thought bubble above the boys head, quoting Titanic, it says, "Never Let Go," as the girls says, "I'll never let go." Letting go... its a hard thing to do...

I quickly slip into the comfortable sweats and tee that smell of cologne and smoke. I'm not usually one to like the smell of nicotine, my dad smoked for a large portion of my life, and I couldn't bare the smell. Liam, though, the smell sort of... fits him. It seperates him from everyone else. As I walk out his bathroom, Liam looks at me and bites his lip ring. I hadn't drawn much attention to the ring before, but I really like it...
"You look good in sweats," Liam says.
"Thanks, Liam," I tell him.
"Why do you call me that?" He asks.
"What? Liam? Its your name, isn't it?" I inquire.
"Yes, but...I've told you since the day I've met you I hate my name, why do you still call me Liam?" He asks.
For a moment, I ponder. "Payne just doesn't sound like a name. Payne sounds like the word, Pain. You aren't a feeling. You could cause people to feel pain, you can feel pain, but you aren't pain, Liam. In fact, I actually think your name is nice. "
After I say that, Liam looks down and mummbles something. I want to know what he mummbled, but have a feeling he doesn't want me to know. So I let it go.
"Thanks for the clothes," I tell him.
"No problem, Claire... See you around, I guess." He says.
Before I leave the room I take one last glance at the tattoo-filled boy sitting in his room alone, sigh, and leave.

"What do you want to do, Ms. Hangover?" Emma asks me as we walk into her gigantic kitchen.
"Watch a movie?" I suggest, "I really don't care."
"What kind?" she asks.
Honestly, I'm really not in the mood for a movie. I just want to get my mind off of Liam. I don't know, it's just... I can't seem to think of anything but him at the moment. The pictures on his wall, when he showed me his mother, when we kissed in the car... I just don't feel myself. Maybe it's the hangover. Why did I drink so much last night? I don't drink, but if I don't drink, then why am I hungover at my friend's house?
"Got any John Hughes films?" I ask.
"Pretty in Pink or The Breakfast Club?" She responds.
"Surprise me," I tell her as she walks into the livingroom, and I follow.
Outside, I notice a swimming pool. My stomach cringes, I don't know why, but it does. As if something treacherous had happened there.
"Are you going to stare at my swimming pool or are we going to watch a movie?" Emma asks.
"Huh? Sorry. I was just... thinking," I tell her.
She nods in a way that shows disbelief, and we head to watch our movie.
