Natasha's POV
I woke up with a warm feeling in my body. I laid close to Steve's naked body and I pressed myself closer to him to get warmer. I looked at his face and smiled. The memories from the night I left him came back to my head and I pressed myself even closer and started to kiss his lips and down his neck. When he didn't wake up, so I kissed his lips harder. He started moving a little and his eyes fluttered open.
"Good morning." I said smirking as I kissed him again. He looked at the watch on the nightstand.
"7am is not morning." He moaned.
"Oh stop being so grumpy." I said and he smiled and began kissing me back.
After a while he stopped and I could tell he was about to fall asleep again.
I rolled on top of him and began kissing him hard.
"Steve, come on. Stop being so boring." I said as I carefully bit his lip.
"I'm not boring." He mumbled.
"Yes you are very boring." I said and he kissed me back once then fell back to sleep. I moaned. I stepped of him and went to the bathroom. Lucky for me, there was a bowl, large enough to fill with cold water. I smiled to myself as I poured the ice cold water into the bowl.
I carried it into the bedroom and looked at Steve's peaceful face. I smirked as I threw the cold water at his body.
"Omg Natasha what the hell?!" He said as he ran up from the bed. I just looked at him with a smirk on my face.
"What are you doing?!" He said annoyed.
"Waking you up." I said with the same smirk on my face. His irritated face changed to a smile a she saw my smirk.
"Your welcome sleepy head." I said and he shock his head. I dropped the bowl on the floor and he smirked.
"Remember the word revenge." He said before he picked me up in an embrace and threw me on the cold bed. He then got on top of me and began kissing my body. Starting at my lips and went down to my collar bone then to my stomach, kissing my scar.

"If this is revenge, you've understood the word wrong." I said smiling in pleasure as he went back to kissing my neck. He smiled and kissed my lips harder and I kissed him back. The warm feeling rushed threw my body and I moaned in pleasure as he went into me. I kissed his neck. I put my hand in his hair and put my legs around his body, pressing him closer down on me. He moaned and I kissed his lips hard and he kissed me back even harder.
"Don't worry." He said between our breaths. "I do understand the meaning of revenge." He said as he kissed me again.
Steve's POV
A knock could be heard at the door and I looked at Natasha who looked up at me surprised. She went out of my embrace and put on her morning coat. I did the same. She looked herself quickly in the mirror before she opened the door.
"Mr and Mrs Rushman. I wanted to tell you that there's a breakfast buffé downstairs and it's on the house." Annie said and looked up and down at our clothing. I could tell Natasha was annoyed and stepped closer to the door but Natasha opened her mouth first.
"It's 7am." Natasha said a little annoyed. Annie looked at her with a confused face.
"No miss, it's actually 10am if I'm not mistaken." She said with a smile as she looked down at her watch. Natasha looked back at my face with a smirk since she realised we've been kissing for like two hours.
"We'll be downstairs in a few minutes. Thank you Mrs. Darwin!" I said with a smile as Natasha closed the door.
"It's Annie." She said and Natasha looked at me.
"Whatever." She said quietly with a smirk as she jumped up in my arms and kissed my lips.
The breakfast was pretty good for being an almost abounded bed and breakfast. We ate for a while before we thanked Annie for the lovely. Well, Natasha didn't really use the word lovely but she was polite.
I had plans to take a walk with her around this place. Yesterday, I had seen a lake close to the house and I had basically planned this the entire morning. We decided to walk around it and Natasha smirked at I put my arm around her.

"Promise me that we don't become one of those annoying couples that everyone hates." She said as she looked out over the lake.
"Well, I don't know if I can promise that since there's a lot of people who hate us already." I said smiling. She chuckled.
"I know people hate us, I meant more like one of those couples who are too much. The ones who doesn't stop kissing each other and complementing each other." She said.
"Well, that will be pretty hard since all I want to do is kiss you." I said as I planted my lips on hers. She wrapped my arms around me and I saw this as an opportunity to push her in the lake. But when I did, she held tight on me, making us both stand still on the edge of the water. She looked up at my face surprised.
"You've been planning this all morning haven't you?" She asked. "Well, the problem with trying to push a spy into the lake is that you'll fall with her." She said and a moment later, my body was wet and ice cold. My head made it o the surface to catch a breath.
"Oh my fucking god! This is fucking ice cold!" Natasha said, almost screaming.
She clenched onto my body and I laughed. I could feel the cold water against my body but I think my serum made my body warmer. For Natasha, it was different. She pressed herself to my body and put her cold wet hair away from her face.
"Revenge." I said as I kissed her face.
"Annie's going to think we're nuts when we come back in with wet clothes." Natasha said between her cold breaths.
"No it's fine, I'll just tell her you pushed us in. Which is true." I said smirking as Natasha threw water on my face.
"Take me up from this cold hell know." She said demanding and I smirked and kissed her again.
"Now." She said again and I picked up her cold body over the water surface and started climbing up from the lake to land again.
While up, I put her down on the ground and she took of her jacket and tried to squeeze out the water.
"If I have the first cold in my life, I blame you." She said as she started to walk towards the house. I stood still for a while, looking at the beautiful woman walking in front of me before I ran up to her and put my arm around her shoulder and kissed her cheek.
"Stop with the cute kisses. It won't help. You're not getting any." She said and I laughed.
"Okey." She said as we reached the house. "We'll sneak up to our room, grab out stuff and leave." Natasha said and I nodded. I had gotten enough from this place.
"But we'll have to leave some money on the desk." I said an Natasha looked at me and nodded.
"Fine." I said as we sneaked inside. Natasha flew over the floor with small steps and didn't make a sound. She stood by the stairwell and waved at me to come with her. I took a step and the entire floor creaked.
"Mr and Mrs Rushman?" A happy voice could be heard and Natasha rolled her eyes as she his by the stairwell.
"Oh hi." I said as Annie came into the hall.
"Oh heavens, why are you so wet?" She asked with huge eyes.
"It's.. Raining.." I said and Annie looked outside the window. It wasn't a cloud on the sky.
I looked at Natasha who once again rolled her eyes at my bad acting skills.
"No actually, it was my wife, she pushed me into the lake. We're having a fight.. And we'll have to leave today. I'll talk to you later." I said as I rushed up the stairs with Natasha in front of me.
"So much for sneaking.." She said and I laughed.

(This story is a work in progress. As the first story that I have ever written, the beginning, especially the first ten chapters or so, needs heavy editing. I have decided to continue writing the story instead of going back and editing the beginning. I hope that despite all its flaws you will still find my story enjoyable.)

The stage is being set for another Great War but who can stop the Book of War once and for all? Is their destiny set in stone, or will they forge a different path? No matter what, their choices will bring forth a new era for Mendala. ------------------------------ If you love vast fantasy worlds, rich, fleshed-out characters, and a adventure where your'e constantly discovering new things along the way, then this is definitely a story you'll enjoy. This is a slow-burn high fantasy / adventure with many characters and intersecting plotlines. It’s a quest so lots of adventuring, exploring, and character moments, but not a ton of fighting/action (though there are definitely some great fight scenes as payoff to the buildup). Because it’s a fantasy world with lots of people and new concepts, I try to make it easy so that you don’t have to memorize anything. The narrative will constantly remind you of important people/places/concepts as you keep moving forward. Some things won’t be fully explained right at the beginning to avoid information overload. My goal is that the reader will learn things organically as the story progresses. I use two mechanisms to help with the intersecting plotlines. - Each chapter is named for the (main) plotline it’s following and which part. - At the beginning of the chapter, and anytime there is a scene shift, the location is listed. Also, though this is definitely a portal-fantasy (isekai) it’s different from the standard isekai, especially since the world transfer doesn’t happen immediately. It’s not Lit-RPG but characters gain powers and grow over time. Also, it’s a group of teens that transfer, not just one central character. All of the teens are distinct characters, with their own character-arcs, relationships, powers, growth etc. Hopefully you’ll find this interesting as you’ll see the world and story from multiple perspectives. The story is always in 3rd Person (Omniscient) POV so that it’s not jarring as perspectives shift.
