I finally woke up, like properly. I feel like I've been asleep for a thousand years. My arms were pale again, my head didn't throb, my chest didn't burn, I felt good. I lifted myself up from the bed,

'Ah' I yelped,

Good but not perfect.

'Spike' Buffy yelled sitting up in a panic

'I'm fine' I assured her 'please sleep love, you hardly have'

'I'm fine' she protested getting out of bed. 'How are you though?' She asked

I could see the worriedness in her eyes. I felt so happy, that someone like Buffy cared about me so much. That she cried for me, that she loved me, that she would never leave me.

'I'm good' I replied even though I had tears in my eyes.

'What's wrong?' She panicked

'I just love you so much' I smiled

'I love you too' she beamed.

A couple of hours later, the doorbell rang. I knew who it was, it was the gang minus Willow.

'The other day Tara found the missing page' Buffy told them

'Do you have it?' Giles asked anxiously

'Yeah' Buffy replied handing it to him

'That doesn't make sense' he said

'What?' Xander asked

Giles handed it around and everyone read the final page.

'I still don't understand' Xander whined 'how did the ring work then? And how come Willow had it?'

'We have no clue' Buffy replied 'and I don't think we should ask Willow'

'Yeah remember that time Spike said something about the ring, she got weird and stared and stopped talking' Tara informed us

'True' Spike replied 'what else can we do?'

'I don't know, I don't know why Willow would do this' Buffy said

'Maybe someone made her, I don't know' Tara said I could see the slight panic in her eyes.

'Don't worry Tara it'll be fine' Xander smiled weakly.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

I rolled over in bed, who is even up at this time? I looked at the clock 3am, Buffy wriggled in her sleep, I don't think she heard it. I got up and wandered downstairs, it was silent, dead silent. I opened the door anyway and no one was there.

'An invitation would be nice old friend?'

'What?!' I panicked jumping back

Out of the darkness Angelus appeared.

'An invitation inside?' He smirked

'No way' I yelled

'Spike' Buffy called from downstairs, I slammed the door in Angelus' face.

'Yes love' I replied running up the stairs to her.

'Who was it?' She asked

'Nobody' I laughed.
