Your POV

"What the hell happened?" I asked as my vision cleared.

"(Y/n), I need you to calm down," Mr. Davenport said, and he clicked at some button on a monitor on my left side.

"(Y/n)," Chase murmured, and you turned your head to look at him, " you were hit."

"I remember that much."

"You've been exposed to extreme amounts of Alpha and Omega radiation. We don't know exactly what's happening."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, you're slowly melting through the bed on you right side, while you freeze the water on your left."

I looked over at the table next to me.

"From what I can tell, and I'm a genius so I can tell you a lot, the Alpha radiation increased your internal body temperature, and the Omega radiation decreased it, which should have cancelled it out, but each form of radiation seems to be contained to half of your body."

I blinked at them in confusion.

"Which means..?"

"It means that we don't know what's going on. Alpha and Omega are experimental power sources, and there's no prior experimentation with it," Chase said, and he looked at you in sadness.

"So, you two, the smartest people in the world, have no idea what's going to happen to me?"

"The short answer, or the long answer?" Mr. Davenport asked.

"Short," i barked at him.

"No, we don't," he replied sheepishly.

"Of course you don't. I can't believe this," i moaned, throwing my hands into the air.

A blast of ice came out of my left hand, and fire out of my right hand.

"Oh," I said sarcastically, "That's new."
