《WILD CHILD • Emmett Cullen》Intruder Alert

"This is not fair." Seth whines as he follows me and Viv around the mall. "I want to be doing patrols like the rest of the pack. Not babysitting."
"Technically we're babysitting." I tell him pulling him closer to me. "But come on it's not that bad pup."
"Then how come they others don't have to do this?" He whines again.
"Please Logan has to babysit me daily for work." I tell him. "Besides don't you want to hang with us?" Vivian snorts.
"No I wanna do werewolf things." He pouts.
"Poor baby. Want a pretzel?" His face lights off and he jogs over to the stand. "Food the way to their little hearts." I say to Viv and we walk over. "How's my friend?" I ask her.
"Wondering if you love her enough to buy her a pretzel too." She says and I smile.
"Of course I do. But I was asking about the bean."
"Bean?"
"Yup. I shall the baby bean and they shall be my little friend."
"You're so weird."
"Why thank you darling." I say as we wait in line. "So what did the doctor say about little bean?"
"That they're almost 5 months, and soon we can find out the gender."
"Oooo let me find out and throw a gender reveal party." I say bouncing on my toes. "Also order your pretzel both of you." They order and we move on you know how a mall works.
"But how would you revel the gender?" Seth asks once he's done scarfing down 2 of the three pretzel he got.
"We can do the ballon thing, or the smoke cannons or fire works." I suggests.
"You've already planned this idea haven't you?" Vivian asks and I nod. "Lord have mercy."

You know I'm dead, obviously, but something inside me dies everytime I walk up the stairs to this house. And once again I am stuck here walking up these damn steps. I walk right in because they continue to disrupt my peace and attempt at happiness.

"I'm here." I say stepping into the kitchen. "Now why and I here?"
"The disappearances in Seattle are getting worse." Carlisle says looking grave as he watched the news go through multiple images of teens.
"Well I'm not eating them." I say making Emmett, Jasper and Calvin laugh.
"We didn't think you were." Carlisle says. "But whoever is, is making a spectacle of it. Soon the Voltori will interfere."
"What if that's what they want?" I ask them making them all look at me. "It wouldn't be the first time we've seen someone attempt suicide via the voltori." I look over at Edward. "Or they're trying to pin it on you guys. The closest Coven to where the disappearances are happening."
"But why?"
"No idea. It's not like you guys have killed a vampire recently and left his angry mate running around to turn and snack on people." I say sarcastically.
"I've been watching her decisions." Alice pipes up.
"Oh and you are oh so good at that." I say grinning at her. "I mean it's never failed us before now has it?"
"Moving on." Calvin says sliding in between my view of his sister. "We're thinking since you work up there you can do some snooping."
"Yea fuck no."
"So you don't care innocent people are dying?" Edward asks.
"No, and you know why I don't care Eddie boy? Because I'm not you and I don't believe in eternal damnation or hell. And I don't think I need to save anyone to prove I'm not I'm monster." I say. "And you know what? It's not my mess to clean up. So until it's in my house, or at the Rez, it's not my concern."
"And when it does?"
"Then unlike you I'll deal with it. Properly." I say and leave. "Stop bothering me."
Running home was always nice until I saw someone jump out of Bella's window and disappear.

"Fuck me." I mumble and begin to chase whoever it was in my house. Whoever it is stinks the same way Victoria does, like rotting flesh. "Hey Pussy!" I yell and he turns to look at me. I grin and channel my inner Jane making him fall to his knees.
"What's your name?" I ask stopping the pain he snarls at me and I laugh. "So we're doing this my way then." I say and he starts yelling in pain. Using the mind reading shit I got from Edward technically, I go through his mind. "See you and I are going to be great friends Riley." He looks at me and I smile. "Now look me in the eye."
-
Again with this fucking house. However this time I'm dragging a mostly limp Riley and Sam and Paul.
"Here." I say tossing Riley at Carlisle's feet. "Riley Biers been missing for a few months now, found him."
"Where?" Edward asks clearly going though his head.
"On a cruise in the Caribbean." I say scoffing. "In the woods obviously."
"So we just talk about this and right after you find him?" Edgar asks scoffs looking to his family for backup. "That's not suspicious at all."
"Watch where you point fingers." Paul's says stepping forward. "How do we know it wasn't one of you?"
"Ok so let's just think rationally here." Carlisle says trying to stop a fight. "Let's ask Riley."
"Go fuck yourself." Riley bites out. "And the witch bitch too."
"I'm not a witch." I say smiling at him. "A bitch however."
"I'll tell you whatever you want just keep her away." Riley says crawling on his knees. "She's crazy."
"Had fun did you?" Calvin asks and Jasper laughs.
"You told me to practice. So I did." I say smiling. "Be happy it was him. My next dummy was gonna be Rosalie."
"Dummy for what?" Alice asks.
"Want to find out?" I ask tilting my head. "It's real fun."
"No no no." Calvin and Jasper both say pushing me away from her.
"Boo you guys are no fun."
"Moving on." Carlisle says. "Riley let's talk."
"When she leaves." He says jutting his chin towards me.
"Oh honey. You don't make the demands here." I say and he flinches. "Now speak."
-
"So now what?" Emmett asks once Riley's done confessing. "We're going to Seattle right?"
"No." I say shaking me head. "We don't know enough. She's keeping him in the dark."
"We don't know she's behind it." Edward says.
"So then who?" I ask him. "He said it they're building an army to kill you guys. Or do you have any other enemies?"
"She's right. On both parts." Carlisle says and I resist the urge to stick my tongue out at Edward. "But how do we get more information?"
"I suggest live bait." I say. "Let's bring Bella around Seattle see who comes out to find her."
"You'd risk her life?" Edward all but yells.
"Obviously not. Only half. Obviously we'd be nearby to interfere if something actually happened." I say shrugging. "Obviously we'd have to get her okay on it, it's her life, but there's no other way." I say. "Unless you'd rather be sitting ducks."
Paul taps my arm and I nod. The two of them head out for their patrol shift.
"So newborn hunting." Calvin says and I nod "Yippie."
-
"He was in the house?" Bella asks and I nod. "And he left dad there?"
"Yup." I say sitting on the bed with her. "According to his little head, there's an army of them. Numbers are fuzzy and so who's in charge. However using common sense we can put 2 and 2 together."
"Are you worried?"
"No."
"Weirdo."
"Fuck you too bitch."
