"Ugh now everyone thinks Ladybug and Adrien are dating since they were on the runway," Marinette said annoyed as she saw her unrecognizable self walk the runway. She sighs in thought, Ladybug looks like she can get anything and she does. Tikki stays quiet, not able to give her any new advice as Marinette is upset. "You know what even worse is that Adrien must think I'm a jerk and ditch him cause I never went backstage with him," Marinette says as she paced all over her room.

"Marinette I'm sure he understands and guess what? You're jealous of yourself!" Tikki scream.

Marinette sighs and sits down in silence. A pain of stress-filled over her heart and she lay down on her bed. She looks at her ceiling to see the photo of Adrien that was tape to it. She then sat up and got her purse. Tikki asks where she going but Marinette said nothing. Tikki then flew over and stowed away into the purse.

In the meantime, Adrien was lost in the clouds as he views the city from his couch. He didn't want to think and stared off at the building. Then there was a knocking on his door which confused Adrien. Natalie was with his dad on a business trip. Adrien got up in curious at who was at his door. Plagg took his cheese and fell asleep in a vase. Adrien gave an eye roll at Plagg behaviorand walked to the door.

"Marinette!" He exclaimed sounding more angry than surprised. Her expression changed at his tone.

"Adrien." She stated flatly. They stared at each other for a few minutes which felt like an eternity. Marinette had made no move.

"Do you want to come in?"He asked with a hint of impatience. He held his hand out for her's to take. Her eyes sparkled as she nodded and stepped across the threshold. Marinette remained silent while he led her into the room, her own battle swirling around her mind.

"I wanted to see you," Marinette responded.

Adrien froze as he realized that he didn't tell her he was going to be alone. He assumes it was Nino who told her but he was more confused about his own emotion. He didn't understand why he was being so cold to her. He noticed her sad expression and he knew something was wrong, "Is something wrong?"

"I miss hanging with you," Marinette stated as she couldn't recall a time when it was just the two of them unless it was being Ladybug.

Adrien gave a short derisive laugh and shook his head. Marinette wrapped her arms around him from behind and ran her hands up his chest. Adrien closed his eye at the warmth that radiated from her touch. He's the one breaking into two people, and not she."I'm sorry, I hadn't realized that I had been ignoring you."

Every time he tries, though, a crisis intervenes, something life- or career-threatening, and it's not in him to turn his back, not on any of them, not for long.

"So about your dad's fashion show," Marinette started as she assumed that he had been upset. "Sorry I didn't go backstage."

"Is that what your upset about. Mari, it's okay I actually had to leave sooner than expected." Adrien reassured as Akuma ruin the event but he got a chance to see Ladybug. Who he recalls that night she slipped her arms around his neck, whispering that Marinette will understand, whispering trust me, and Adrien can't turn away.

"Mari I'm sorry if we're being distanced, I'm just... I'll try to do better." Adrien says, "I just have been a little busier and I know you understand cause I usually spend my free time with you and Natalie has been adding more to my schedule since school has been interfering with it..."

Adrien was interrupted by a gentle kiss, at first Adrien look surprise but later he closed his eyes and put his arm around Marinette's back, and kiss.

"You talk too much" Marinette stops kissing but still looks deep into his eyes.

"I know" Adrien as well looked into Marinette's eyes.

Marinette and Adrien returned kissing for a long time it was just the perfect way to end a misunderstanding of a conversation, with the moon shining behind them. Marinette forgot her angry emotions against herself and only felt what she is doing to Adrien. She didn't want to think all she thought was "who was he kissing?"
