Beep...beep...beep

Is the only thing I could hear as well as some almost silent foot steps when I gain back my consciousness. I didn't want to open my eyes just yet because I am hoping to fall back to sleep. I am so tired. My body felt numb.

I try to turn to my side so I can get comfortable before going back to sleep but something was pulling me back. I knew I was laying down somewhere so I picked up my head, fixed what I presume is a pillow but I still couldn't get comfortable enough to go back to sleep. Annoyed I open my eyes only for it to fall on a unfamiliar figure. My vision was blurry and the room was moving around. I don't think that's possible so I'm guessing I'm dizzy. I closes my eyes and count to ten before slowly opening it again. I wince at the brightness, cowardly closing my eyes again.

"Sorry, it must be too bright for you. Let me just pull it down for you"spoke a unfamiliar voice.

When I felt the room became darker. I was brave enough to open my eyes. This time it wasn't blurry or too bright. I just sit there with wide eyes and everything slowly hit me. Running way. Leaving my pack, brother mate and hiding. Then getting caught. I looked around the room I was in and it didn't look familiar. Clean and open spaced room. So simply like the rooms at the hospitals. I looked up to my right and saw the machine that monitors my heartbeat along with IV machine and I follow it to see that it's being injected.

I look back at the lady in front of me. From what she was wearing, I can tell she was a doctor. She couldn't be older than 30. She had small Afro and pearly white teeth. Her brown eyes were warm and welcoming.

"Hiya darling."she says softly walking closer to me.

I don't reply. I just stare at her and I could feel the panic raising to my chest. I swallowed hard and tried to sit up and shift to my left so I could put as much distance as I can. I was never good at meeting new people.

As if she knew what I was feeling at this moment, she stopped walking to towards me. Instead sent me a small smile.

"Don't be scared."she says."I'm not going to hurt you. You're safe"

Her voice is soft, gently and careful. As if she spoke any different I would break.

I look around again, trying to process everything. Where the hell am I?

Like she read my mind, she answered.

"You're at Moonlight pack territory."

I shot up and started to panic. Moonlight is one of the best pack in the world. They are so strong together, supportive and unbeatable that's why rogue never step a foot in their territory. The ones that do are never to be seen again.

I'm going to die.

"It's alright. Calm down."she says as my pulse started to increase.

"Miss... please. Stress and panic is not good for the ba-" she was interrupted by door opening and in came three other unfamiliar faces.

"Ow that hurt"one of them said rubbing this arm glaring at a tall handsome man.

I looked closely at him. He kind of looked familiar but I'm one hundred percent sure I have never seen him in my life.

"Well no one told you to push me" the tall guy responded shrugging.

"What? You pushed me first and I-"

"Will you two shut up"a voice sharply said.

I looked between the two tall guys and there stood a beautiful petite Korean woman with a small bump. She had her hair up in a nice tight and tidy pony tail. Her skin was fair and flawless. She glared up at both of them before looking at me. Her eyes soften when they land on me. She offered a small smile before walking towards me.

Again like the doctor, she stops at the foot of the bed.

"Hi. My name is mi na but a lot of people just call me Mia. Don't call me that like ever"she says in a serious tone but it was started soft and like the doctor so gently.

"Who are you?"one of the boys asked.

I didn't reply.

Mi na groaned and elbowed him in the rips.

"Ow Mi!"

"You can't just ask her that!"she growls

"I can! I'm the alpha and I need to know who the uninvited guest are."

Ouch.

She elbows him again, this time sending him a icy glare.

"Woman stop doing that!"

"I will as soon as you stop being rude"she mutters.

"I'm not being rude. I'm just asking a normal question, right? Dylan"he turns around to ask the other guy.

"Don't involve me bro."Dylan shrugs. The taller guy gasps dramatically.

"So much for having my back"

"You pushed me and really hurt my arm"

"Boohoo you werewolf. It's not a big deal, you will heal"

"Cole Michael Jacob!"Mi suddenly says surprising me. "Look what you made me do. I startled her"

"Nah but really. Who are you?"Dylan asks.

"Dylan!"Mi sends him a glare.

"What? We need to know who she is and what she is doing here"

Mi na opened her mouth to say something to him but I stopped her by finally speaking. Heck, I surprised myself.

"No it's okay. I'm sorry I had no idea I was in your territory. I will leave.. you know.. as soon as I can feel my legs"I chuckle softly with humour.

"Don't be silly. You can stay as long as you want"Mi na says.

"She can?"both Cole and Dylan ask in unison.

"Yes SHE can"giving them a look.

"It's alright. Honestly. I-I don't want to be a trouble. I just left my pack and I didn't know where I was heading-"

"So you're a rogue?"Cole asks

"Umm no and yes. I still have the mark. I haven't officially left. I just runaway" feel intimated by his gaze, I looked at my fingers.

I didn't know why I just told them that I runaway but I didn't stop because I can feel the eyes on me. All waiting for me to continue, explain why I run.

"Redwood was and I guess still is my pack. They weren't very much a pack. I just felt unwanted and my mate rejected me so I didn't see the point of staying there"

"What about your family"Mi na asks softly. I could hear the sympathy from her voice.

I scoff"what family?"

The room grew silent and for few seconds no one spoke.

"Sorry for my mate rudeness and this big fool behind me. They are usually more aloof and friendlier"Mi na decides to break the ice.

"I'm the alpha, you can't expect me to beat around the brush"Cole as I remember defends himself.

"Yeah and I'm the beta. I can't always be a fool."Dylan says as he stands straighter.

"The day you stop being a fool is the day pigs learn how to fly"Mi na teases him.

"I'm no threat. I promise. I haven't even shifted yet"I speak very lowly, embarrassed.

Cole turns to me. "I am sorry for my hospitality so far. My wife is right. I'm not usually this rude. You are welcome to stay here as long as you want"

Mi na looked up at her husband, slowly wrapping her arms around his waist. He wraps his arm around her shoulders pulling her close. They were prefect match. Him being so tall, probably 6 ft 5 and her not taller than 5 ft 6 or 7.

"Really?"

"Yeah"he looks down at his wife, sending a quick wink before looking back at me. "Like you said, you are no threat and it would be safe for you and the baby to stay here"

Baby...did I hear right? Was this extremely good looking guy okay? I glanced at his beautiful wife then back at him with wide eyes.

"Sorry what? Did you just say baby?"

"Oh dear. She doesn't know"Mi na mutters glancing at the doctor who silently stood at the corner of the room.

The doctor starts walking towards me and stops beside me. She places her hand on my shoulder. If I wasn't shocked or confused, I would have flinched or moved but I just looked at her waiting for her to speak.

"I'm doctor Robin. The pack doctor. I took some of your body sample and did some test. It came out positive for pregnancy and you are high dehydrated"

More words were coming out of her mouth but I couldn't pay attention to it.

"B-but how do you know? It has been only two days. Maybe the test was wrong"

"Darling. You have been unconscious for four days."

What?

She continued to speak but like before I couldn't pay attention and it wasn't long before my head fell back to the pillow and darkness once again welcomed me.
