I wake up feeling truly rested. Like I had a full night sleep. It's not often that I don't wake up at dawn. When I first opened my eyes, I was confused then I remembered Calvin carrying to twins to his car and all of us driving to his place.

Calvin has four bed rooms but only two were furnished so the twins took one bed room and Calvin decided to be a gentleman and allow me to stay in his room. Well I actually went to his room and locked myself in. He wanted us here. He demanded that we-well the twins-stay with him so he would have to deal with the couch.

I giggle at the image that comes into my head. Calvin, a huge man, on a tiny couch. To be fair...it is a very comfy couch. To sit on. Maybe to lay on too but to sleep... I swallow down the guilt I feel.

I look to the window. Can't see much because the curtains is keeping the light out but from the counter I see it's away after dawn. I look at the clock on the bedside table and it shows 12:34pm.

Shit. The kids! I jump up from the bed and run out of the door. I check their room but they are not there. I check every room and they weren't in any. That's when the panic starts to settle.

I'M. GOING. TO. KILL. HIM!

He took my kids.

-okay looney. Calm the fuck down and breathe. Maybe that will help you think probably. Calvin is the alpha. He's not going to go anywhere with your kids-

Okay so if he hasn't kidnapped them...where are they?

Before I go into another panic mode and overthink, fate answers my question when I hear my kids squeal with laughter. I follow their chuckles to the backyard.

I freeze in my step. The anger and panic I felt disappeared when my gaze met the twins and Calvin in the backyard having water fight. Calvin had a giggling Lily on his shoulder whilst he was shooting water using water gun at Cameron. Cameron was holding his own but laughing as well.

I couldn't help the smile that creep on my face at the sight. I took a seat in one of the chairs and just watched them.

Lily must have seen me because she yelled for me after few seconds. I was disappointed because I wanted to watch them and let them enjoy their moment too.

I got up and smiled at my daughter.

"Calvin caught me"she giggles.

"Don't worry I'm going to save you"my son replies.

Calvin pulls down Lily but his eyes doesn't leave me. My smiles slowly fades the longer he stares at me. Suddenly I felt nervous under his heating gaze. His eyes moves down from my eyes to my feet, stayed a bit longer on my legs before looking back in my eyes. His eyes changed from blank to something else. Something I couldn't describe because no one looked at me like that before.

I was confused so I looked down at my legs and that's when I realised that I was only wearing a white shirt that I stole from his closet and my panties.

Before I could even react, water slashed to my face. It was sudden and cold causing me to close my eyes. I gasped and shivered at the coldest that touched my skin. I slowly opened my eyes to see my son pointing a water gun at me.

"Oh game on!"I say as I start chasing him.

"Calvin save me"he yells.

Calvin holds up his gun and points it at me.

"Don't you dare"I warn him.

Do you know what he does? He just grins and sprays it at me. It started a every long, dirty water fight. One that I won't forget. One that I will remember forever. It's a memory I would hold dearly. That fight was the start for us. I just didn't know then.

I tackled Calvin to the floor and tried to natch the gun from him.

"Come on mummy"I hear Lily cheer for me.

"Don't let her get that gun"I hear my traitorous son say.

Before I could even blink, Calvin switched places with me and I end up on my back with him cower over me.

Everything stops. Both of us panting, chest moving with our breath. I stare into his hazel eyes and he stares into mine. Something flashed in eyes but I can't say what. His gazes moves down to my chest then slaps back. His gaze heated and I felt something harden between my thighs. I blush. I know what it was. And I knew he knew I knew what that was. He looked to my lips, licking his.

"Calvin you better not be hurting my mama"Cameron says

This must have zone Calvin back to reality because he got off me suddenly. He pulls me up. He avoids my gazes. In fact he avoids meeting anyone's gaze.

"No buddy. Your ma is already"he says.

"I'm going to err have shower."he says and with that, Calvin zooms out of the backyard leaving three of us to stare.

"So you think he wanted to kiss you?"Mi na asks.

Later that day, I decided to visit Mi na to tell her that happen early the day. Mi na was taking a break from training her team.

"I don't know. I know he fines me attractive. Gosh I'm so embarrassed. Who told me to have a water fight in white shirt"

Mi na laughters"bet he got a sight"

"No shit. The shirt was see through. I mean not really but if you look really closely you can see my nipples"

Mi na wiggles her brows.

"It's not funny. I'm serious."

"Boo hoo. He's attracted to you and your definitely attracted to him. I don't understand why you don't just bang. It's not like it would be the first time"

"Attraction means shit to me right now. I'm not going to fall for him. Are you forgetting he rejected me. Sleeping with him would only cause complication. Right now we decide that we would be cool and just co parent."

"Don't overthink. Every time I'm around you two. I burn just by the sexual attraction you two spark. Just rub one and get it over it"

Get over it like out of my system. Can this even work? I can't be with him. Not after he rejected me but can I sleep with him again? Am I strong enough not to fall for him. Not to allow him to hurt me again.

"I don't know. I'm not going to think about this anymore. Beside I said he's attracted to me not that he wants to sleep with me. I'm not making the move. I won't allow him to reject me again"

Before Mi na could respond Dylan comes in and falls to the couch beside me.

His hand on his chest as he pants.

"You okay?"I ask one of the fittest person I know.

"Yeah. I'm great. I just- I think I just found my mate"

Mi na and I jump up and scream with excitement.

"Who is she? Oh my! This so exciting!"

"I don't know. I saw her and she saw me then I just ran"

Mi na and I stopped jumping at stared at Dylan.

"You ran? What the hell Dylan?"we both yell.

"What? I got nervous. She's really pretty. I saw her before but I wasn't close enough to her to tell that she was my mate. Our hands brushed together and I didn't- Damn I'm such an idiot"

"No shit"

"Do I know her?"I asked.

"Yeah. She's in you group. I think. Her name starts with M. Maria or something. You work with her privately too."he replies.

No way!

"Mia is your mate!"I squeal.

Happy for my mentee and my best friend.

"Yeah."he smiles.

"She's perfect"I say.

Then realise what he had done.

"You just ran? You left her. Damn Dylan. She has insecurities and you didn't help with that fact. She might think you rejected her. You have to go after her now!"

Dylan eyes grew with panic. He starts to pull his hair and pace the ground.

"I don't know what to do. I'm nervous. I didn't think I would find my mate now."

"I will help you. You have no game. You're lucky I'm in your life"Mi na says pulling him back to sit down.

"I need to visit my brother. I will see you guys later"

"I need your help"Dylan says in a panicky voice.

"I will smooth things over with Mia. Don't be a dumbass and run from her again."I say.

He nods.

Who knew Dylan the charming prince would be so shy when it comes to his mate? Nervous? I have never thought. It's cute.

I'm so happy for Mia. Dylan is the best match for her.

"Where are we going Mama?"my son asks when we stepped into the hospital.

"Remember when I told you guys about my brother?"

"Uncle Tom?"

"Yeah. We are going to see him"

"Now"my daughter asks.

"Yup"I confirmed.

"Well I hope he got some sweets. Liam and I were in the middle of playing our game before you kidnapped me"

How is he only four?

"I didn't kidnap you"

"Well you took me against my will"he shrugged.

My son is a smartass. I shook my head and looked around. I didn't want people actually believing I was kidnapping a child.

We walked into my brother's temporary room and I stopped in my step when I saw Amy on the bed kissing him.

I was going to walk back out and give them sometimes to make out. But my smartass of a son decided to break the love vest by shouting.

"Ewww."

This broke off their kiss and startled Amy jump off his bed. I could only give them a sheepish grin.

"Perhaps I could've knocked the door first"

"Ya think!"Amy snapped.

Giving me her famous ice queen stare. She's clearly still pissed.

"Aunty Amy"her icy glare soften as my daughter runs to her.

My son walked pasted me to the middle of the room. He took one look at my brother and winced. Please don't say anything.

"Ouch. You look bad. I thought you were supposed to be a badass"

My brother looked startled for a second, then he throws his head back and laughs. He laughs. What the fuuudgeeee.

I never swear in the presence of my children. Even in my head.

"You must be Cameron"my brother speaks

"Yes sir"

Finally the manners I taught them.

"You're smart for a four year old"

"Handsome too"he quickly replies.

Tom laughs again.

"I love this kid"

"I blame Cole and Dylan for this"I shake my head.

"No. This is all Calvin. Calvin was exactly like this when we were younger"his smiles slowly fades.

Probably at the mention of his longest friend. I know he's not talking to Calvin still. I know why too. He wants to show me that he is loyal to me. Calvin mistreated me and now he is giving him the cold shoulder. One thing you need to understand is they were friend since birth. Only couple of weeks difference in age. They have unhealthy friendship. They are tied to the hip. Were since ever so I know this is hurting him as much as it is hurting him.

"Calvin? I know Calvin. We are staying in his house"Lily says.

Tom head snaps to mine and I give him another of my famous sheepish smile.

"He just wants to get to know the twins. He loves them and they love him too. This time together is good for all of them"I rush to say.

He nods.

"He misses you"I add in.

He turns his head back to the Cameron.

"How about you jump in here buddy and tell me about yourself. I got some catching up to do"

"You know Calvin?"

"Yeah he is my Alpha."

"He is his best friend too"I add.

This earns me a glare from Tom.

"Cool. Liam is my best friend."Cameron replies. "He is going to be the Alpha for the moonlight pack when his father retires."

I blocked them out for the time being and turn my attention to Amy. I don't want this tension anymore. I want her to be cool not icy. I want my friend back. I'm going to have to rip a page out of my son's page and just be blunt.

"You need to melt your ice and-"

"CALVIN IS MY DAD?"

My head snaps back to my son. If his teary gaze fell to me. I was going to tell him. Ease him into it. Feel out Calvin first then tell them. Calvin wanted to tell them straight away but understand that they are young and sometimes need to be ease into things so they don't feel overwhelmed.

I told so little about their father. After asking for him couple of times and not liking the answers the got. They stopped asking. I don't know why. Probably saw the pain in my eyes when they asked. Probably the unsatisfied respond the got from me. Maybe both.

My brother gave me a sheepish smile.

Big mouth.

I sighed because I knew that it would be a long day.
