《Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji 7 Minutes in Heaven》Knife.

"Uh, I'm sorry, _______, but," Bard said as he approached you, rubbing the back of his neck with his free hand as the other held the bag towards you. "This was the last one."
"It's fine, Bardroy," you answered as you flashed a smile at him, making him feel even more guilty of your kindness. "I'll take it, haha~"
You looked in the bag to see a small but beautifully embellished knife just shining under the chandelier light. You were afraid of touching it at first, but the thought of wanting to know who put it in there overwhelmed you. And now, you found yourself holding the said weapon.
It was so beautifully carved and crafted, you would even go far as to say it was only for ornamental purposes only. You couldn't see this beautiful object be the cause of death to someone.
"Whose is this beautiful knife?" You said, holding up the said object to see if anyone reacted. Your fingers wanted to feel every crevice of this wonderful sharp metal, stare at it for hours on end, just imagining how one person could make such beautiful designs.
As you were still too preoccupied by the knife, you didn't see a blonde figure stand up in the crowd, sighing.
————-
"Great, just great." I sighed, standing up from the couch to see a girl holding the knife I put in the bag. I walked over towards her, seeing that she has actually taken a liking to it. "'At's me knife you got 'ere."
She gave out a shriek, jumping as she immediately held out her hands, cutting herself a little in the process. I scratched the back of my neck. Peachy. This one's a handful.
"Dagger," I heard Joker's voice back on the couch. "Manners~"
I sighed once more and pulled out my handkerchief from my pocket and began to wrap it on her hand. She winced but didn't say a word.
"Uh, sorry... Here." She said, now looking ashamed of what she caused and showed me my knife once more.
"'Anks, love." I replied, smiling a bit now as I took back what's mine from her bandaged hand, putting the knife in one of my holsters.

I would say the conversation would have stayed at a dead end if Joker hadn't stood up to push us in the closet saying, "Really, Dagger, what's with you today?"
It was as if he was still expecting me to reply but I really had no plan to. He shut the door, the lights still on in the closet. But he was right. Something's not right in my blimey, old head.
"So, your name, dearie?" I started, placing my hands behind me. I tried my best to flash my regular smile but it wasn't the same. Not now.
"_________." She said, returning my smile, only she meant hers.
"Pre'ty name for a pre'ty lady~"
She let out a giggle which I thought was adorable.
"And you must be Dagger if I'm not mistaken?"
The way she said my name left me rather breathless for a moment but I managed to hide it by simply nodding. And remembering the reason why I felt glum this evening.
"You must fink I'm a huge jerk right now." I said, my eyes finding interest in the ground all of a sudden.
"No, Dagger, I don't." She replied, stepping closer to me. "Why would you call yourself a jerk?"
"Because," I held my breath. I wouldn't want to say out what was bothering me, especially to a nice girl like her but no one could ever resist that face. "Because 'ere's 'is girl I really like..."
"Oh! I see!"
I notice her smile tug slightly downwards and my heart felt heavier with sadness and embarrassment.
"But.... She ditn't show up at the party and she's probably wiff some ot'er bloke."
There was silence and I knew I just killed every single happiness that I could have made up in here if I was in my normal state. I probably have spread my own disease of sadness to this nice girl.
"'At's why..." I added, now looking at her rather unhappy looking face. "Sorry, I shoultn't be sa'ing 'ese 'ings especially to a pre'ty lady such as yourself."
"No, it's alright." She replied, smiling that I once referred her again as pretty. "I should be the one who's sorry. I didn't mean to bring out those kinds of emotions back on you again."

She was so kind. Gentle. Caring. Sensitive. Something Big Sis isn't when I'm around her.
"And I'm sure she'll regret it for not choosing a handsome man such as yourself~!" She added.
Nothing can stop the red from rushing through my face now. That was it. Beast was gone. Someone new had finally arrived, and her name is ________. She gave me this feeling I haven't felt in a very long time. And I hope she feels the same as well.
"_______," I started, my soul dancing in joy at the mention of her name. "I..."
"Yes?"
Oh, God. Her eyes are stunning....
"I know we've only just met but..."
"But what?" She asked, her bright orbs still gleaming in that wonderful shine.
I don't know what to say. My mind shut down on me and on instinct, my nearly-broken heart took over. I quickly but gently grab her forearms and leaned towards her, stopping when our lips were only centimeters away from each other. Her breath hitched but she didn't say a word. I was scared. What if I scared her? Am I even doing the right thing? I shouldn't be doing this.
My thoughts were battling each other. I couldn't find the strength in me to continue. That is, until she finished the deed and sealed the gap between us. Her lips were so soft, it was as if a flower petal has just grazed my skin. It was a lot better than what I've ever imagined.
My hands roamed towards her waist, can't getting enough of her feel on my skin. My tongue begged for permission on her bottom lip and I was overjoyed when she granted. She let me take over, something Beast would never ever let me do of I even get the chance to. She moaned my name every time we part and right now, Big Sis is just a fleeting memory.
Never wanting to let go, she walked backwards and I followed, her back meeting up against the closet wall. She gripped the collar of my striped dress shirt, pulling myself closer to her. Even when wounded, her hand could pack a mighty fist.
"_-______..." I let out, a weird sensation tingling somewhere below me. Her eyes widened all of a sudden and that was the cue for me to stop. I pulled back, a red cloud swarming both of our faces as she looked at me. I felt embarrassed, yes, but.. I also felt that I was returning back to my old self again.
"D-Dagger,... Was that...?" She asked, her eyes traveling downwards. I grinned as I put my hands on both sides of her head.
"Ain't no knife, love." I whispered, softly kissing her jawline as her breathing quickened. I chuckled as her hands got lost in my hair. I looked back up, her eyes in level with mine. Our breaths mixed and we shared warmth, this was perfect.
"That girl doesn't know what she's missing." She panted out, making me smile.
"What girl?" I joked, placing one more loving kiss on her soft lips just when the door opened.
Joker's face was the first one to greet us as we both exited the closet, hand in hand. "Glad to see you're finally back, Dagger."
I gave him a thumbs up as _______ began to nuzzle her head on my shoulder as we walked back towards the couch. I took her bandaged hand and put a quick kiss on it, hoping it'll get better soon. I knew it was a childish but who cares? I love her.
"Haha, serves me right for touching," she said, giggling. "Your knife."
I felt her other hand lightly graze on that confounded area between my legs and I jumped, laughing nervously as I scratched the back of my head. Wow, she really is a handful.
As a knife thrower of the Noah's Ark Circus, accuracy and precision are my specialties. I am known to never miss a target. And I won't ever miss this one.

Outlook: The Stars (Consciousness Unbound Book 1)
The year is 2152. Rune Yahui is a nineteen-year-old failure, not having gained entrance to college or the military, with no significant prospects in life. Even worse, Rune is the poorest of the poor, hailing from the mega-slums of New Southern Chicago, the lowest pit of America. In a desperate last-ditch attempt to gain a future more lustrous than toiling the rest of his days away in abhorrent conditions in one of the near sweat-shop level factories that dot the megapolis, Rune signs up for the Virtual Citizen program, a program to cull the excessive world population by transferring just their brains into a video game. In a stroke of rare luck, Rune is admitted into the program and happily submits himself to the surgery and digitization process. Unfortunately for him, he wakes up several hundred years later than he expected... or does he? **Author's Note** This isn't a type of story typical to RRL. You may have noticed LitRPG in the tags, but it's a relatively minor element in the story until later. You may also notice Slice of Life is in the tags. This story is going to be slow and there won't be any power tripping until way later if at all. The focus will be on character development. That doesn't mean I won't still have action/excitement, however. I encourage you to give the story a try. Maybe it will be your thing, maybe it won't. Thanks for even taking the time to read this, and if you do give my fiction a try, I hope you enjoy it. If you don't, well, I hope you find something that you do enjoy. Happy reading!
