Man I'm pissed! That stupid ass bitch really set me up. It's crazy what somebody will do when they get rejected. I've been sitting in this cell for two damn days waiting for the judge on my case to fit me in her schedule. All they had to do was order another drug test. This all could've been solved.

"Brown." The court officer called. Sighing I stood up and walked over to the gate and held out my wrists for him to cuff me. Once he did, he opened the cage and let me out.

We made our way up to the court rooms. Just to be outside of that damn cell made me happy.

As I walked into my assigned room, I spotted Aubree and my mom. I gave my baby a small smile. She looked like she's been crying.

Ima kill that bitch Angel man.

The officer took me up to my seat next to my lawyer.

"Mark get the me the Fuck out of here." I said.

"Don't worry, I am."

After waiting thirty more minutes the judge finally entered. "Mr. Brown, it has come to my attention that you have violated your probation. Why wait until your last day to screw up? That doesn't make sense to me."

"Your honor, I haven't dropped dirty not once since I've been on probation. It would've been crazy for me to wait to my last meeting to pull something like this. My probation officer switched the results. I've been begging for somebody to retest me but they all refused and kept telling me to wait on you." I said.

"Why would your probation officer want you locked up?"

"Because I rejected her and that's the god honest truth. She had an altercation with my girlfriend and ever since then she has been doing malicious things towards me and my girl."

"Your probation officer, I met with her yesterday. She's telling me that your current girlfriend was your previous PO, is that true?"

"Yes ma'am." I'm in enough shit, ain't no reason to lie.

"Do you know that is illegal?"

"We started dating after she quit her job."

"I don't believe that at all." She laughed. "Is she here today, Aubree Mack."

I sighed, hoping Aubree stayed quiet. But of course she stood up. "That's me your honor."

"Ms. Mack, can you confirm that you and Christopher were dating after you were his probation officer."

"Yes."

"Ms. Mack, with you being a previous officer you know the penalties of lying in court. Are you being truthful?"

I quickly looked back at her.

"There was a connection there while I was his PO but we didn't officially start dating until I quit my job. And that wasn't because of him, might I add."

"To me connection means dating."

"Your honor, I know the law like you stated and I know that I couldn't make things serious with him. He didn't want me jeopardizing my ca-."

"No matter what you try to say to me Ms. Mack, I believe what I believe and that's that you two were dating before you quit your job as a PO."

"Okay no disrespect your honor, but what does this have to do with the fact that my client had no drugs in system, yet the woman you are believing over these two is reporting that he did. We all know that it takes a while for drugs to fully come out of your system. Can we get Christopher a new test done?" Mark asked speaking nothing but facts.

"We will order a new drug test, but I can't ignore the fact that your client and his previous PO are in a relationship."

I groaned.

I'm really killing Angel.

"Look if I have to do time for that, I will. My girl is pregnant, she doesn't need this stress on her. It's too much going on." I said.

"Pregnant?!" My mom attempted to whisper.

"Congratulations to you both but that doesn't change anything." The judge said. "Court officer, bring Ms. Mack to my chambers."

"No, hold on. I'm not about to let her get in trouble." I said. "If anything take it out on me."

"That's sweet of you Mr. Brown but she the fault lies on her."

The officer went and got Aubree. I placed my head on the table.

"Mark, can you go back there?" I asked.

He nodded and got up.

"So when were you going to tell me I'm about to be a grandmother?" My mom asked.

"We were going to surprise everybody during Christmas but that's all ruined. I don't know what this judge about to do her."

"She'll be fine, I'm sure."

"Brown, follow me." Another officer said.

"For what man? I gotta make sure my girl good."

"You'll be back just follow me."

I got up and he lead me out another door.

"The Judge ordered another drug test." He took the cuffs off and had me a cup. "Hurry up if you want to go back before your girlfriend does."

I grabbed the cup and handled my business. Taking it back out, I placed it in the machine. The officer pressed the button for it start. I wasn't moving until I saw the results myself.

A few minutes later it was done and I grabbed the paper before he did. "That's what the fuck I thought." I passed the paper over to him then let him put the cuffs back on and we went back into the court room. The judge was back but Aubree wasn't and neither was my mom.

"Where's Aubree?" I asked Mark.

"She left."

"Man what happened?"

"The judge took her license and she can't reapply for another year or two. Without that license she can't work for the government so..."

"She's going to lose her job?"

"Most likely."

"Oh my god."

"Okay." The judge spoke up. "So the drugs test came back clean. On the behalf of you dating your probation officer, I fixed that situation but taking her license. She will be able to reapply in two years."

This is about to start something between us, I can feel it.

"Mr. Brown, you are free to go." The judge banged her gavel then they came and took the cuffs off.

"I need my shit." I said to Mark.

"Let's go get it."

Once everything was all taken care of, I had Mijo and Sinko bring my car. They was tryna ask questions but I just needed to get to Aubree.

Pulling up to the house, her car was out there. I got out and headed inside.

"Baby!" I called.

Her mom came out the back. "Is everything okay Chris? Aubree went up to her room and won't say a word to anybody." Rachel said.

"I'm going to go talk to her, I'll be back."

I headed upstairs and knocked on her room door. "Baby."

"What?"

"Can we talk please?"

"It's nothing to talk about, I just need a minute to myself."

"Look, all of this is my fault. In the beginning you told me that nothing could between us but me being hard head, I had to ruin things. I just knew it was something about you that I couldn't pass up. Baby anything you need, I got you. I know this whole situation sucks but these two years are going to fly by. Now you can be more focused on the baby........how about we start looking at houses? A nice place to raise the kids. I know you're used to taking care of yourself but can I do that for a little while?........Aubree, talk to me please..........Aubree."

She still didn't say anything. I jiggled the door handle, it wasn't locked. I opened the bedroom door and she was knocked the fuck out! I just did a whole little speech and she in here sleep.

"BABY!" I said while shaking her.

"What?" She said barely woke.

"Did you hear anything I said? I just poured my heart out and you in here knocked the fuck out."

"I thought you walked away when I said I needed a minute to myself."

"No lazy ass! I'm talking about buying a house, apologizing and shit and you in here snoring!"

She laughed. "I'm sorry, I'm tired. What are you apologizing for?"

"What happened in court today. That's my fault."

"It's not, I participated just as much as you did. It sucks that she took my license and all that but I knew what could happen if we were caught."

"I didn't know we could still get in trouble if we said we dated after you quit."

"We can't but she didn't believe we just got together."

"Fuck that fat Bitch man."

"Yeah fuck her and as soon as I have my baby I'm beating Angel ass, AGAIN. If you would've just let me shoot the bitch when she came up to my job, none of this would be happening."

"Yeah but you would've been in jail and I don't need that."

"True, true."

"Yeah, she'll get hers. Trust me."

Aubree nodded. "So you're officially off probation. How does it feel?"

"Good. I still gotta celebrate this shit."

"I know you were supposed to have this big party at the club and I hate that you missed it."

"It's cool baby. I can chill with you and my little one. That's all the celebration I need."

"I got something you can beat up like a piñata."

"Oh you do?"

"Mmhm." She got out of bed and started pulling off her clothes. "Let's take this party into the shower."

I quickly snatched off my shirt. "Let's go then."

She grabbed my hand led me to the bathroom. Once we got inside the shower, I pulled her close and we shared a nice kiss. "I love you." I said before kissing her again.

"I love you too and I'm taking up that offer on a new house."

"I got you, anything you need, I got you so don't stress about nothing. You're mine so you're always going to be straight."

"I know baby."

We kissed again.

These two years might be a little set back but she gone be straight, ima make sure of it.
