I was reading a book on Camilo's bed, him sleeping peacefully next to me, his arm wrapped around my waist. Well- he was sleeping peacefully...soon, i heard small whimpers and whines. I put my book down and faced Camilo, watching as tears ran down his cheeks, he shifted every now and then.
"please...please- Y/n!" He cried.
My heart stopped, it was another nightmare- about me. He's been having them since i almost died in the casita incident. "Hey, hey, Cami wake up" i gently shook him and eventually, he stopped shifting and woke up, gasping for air. He immediately reached out for you "Y-Y/n.." he whined.
"Come here, mi precioso chico" I whispered and he crawled onto my chest, sobbing into me. I stroked his curly, brunette hair and cooed him gently. "You're okay, i'm okay, we're both okay. I just need you to calm down" i told him in a soothing voice, but he didn't do as told, he's still scared.
"Hey, hey, look at me, mi precioso chico" i murmured and he slowly brought his face up, staring into my eyes. "Theres that cute face, okay love, i need you to take deep breaths okay? Out from the mouth, in through the nose, can you do that for me?"
I got a hiccup in response and we both did the method until his breathing was right and his head laid lazily on my chest, occasionally sniffling sadly. "I- i hate this.." he whispered "I know Cami, i know" i replied. "Was is the same nightmare again?"
"i-i couldn't save you" i immediately took that as a yes. "You died i-in my arms..i-i don't..I can't lose you!" I gently hushed him and gave his forehead a big, soft kiss. "And you never will, understand?" I got another hiccup along with a nod. His bloodshot eyes were slowly shutting, the boy was exhausted.

"Get some sleep, Amor. I'll be here when you wake up, I promise" I whispered into his ear, i felt him shiver before kissing my cheek and snuggling back into my chest, instantly falling asleep. "Love you always Camilo Madrigal" i said quietly before falling asleep myself, while rubbing Cami's back.
