It was thundering outside, worse than ever. It was loud, so loud that I couldn't fall asleep. I was staying with Camilo tonight, he seemed to have been sleeping fine. But he must be used to the thunder as his mother, Pepa, usually makes it thunder when she's upset or angry at something.
I was terrified of thunder. It was horrible and the sounds were horrible too. Camilo was sleeping peacefully next to me, his arm was draped over my waist but soon he moved and faced the other way.
I shoved my head into the pillow, not wanting to wake him. My breathing was heavy and my knuckles were white from gripping onto the sheets too hard. "Calm down..calm down, its just thunder Y/n, you need to relax" I whispered to myself, i soon flinched when a particularly loud crash was heard.
I turned around and went to wake Camilo but he was probably exhausted from today, so I decided not too and buried my head into the pillow again, trying to fall asleep without waking my boyfriend.
Soon enough, Camilo turned around and rubbed his eyes. He looked at me and immediately knew i was scared, he sat up and gently pulled me into his lap. "Hey, Mi Amor, calm down, it's okay...it's just thunder, i'm right here" he whispered soothingly and pressed multiple kisses to my forehead. "Did i wake you?" I asked in a shaking voice.
He shook his head instantly and kissed my cheek. "No love, it's okay" he reassured and rubbed my arms. "Wanna try and sleep? I'll be right here if you need me, I promise" he murmured with a soft smile. I nodded before getting off his lap and cuddling into him, he wrapped his arms around my waist and rubbed my back. "Goodnight, Mi amor. And don't worry, i'll look after you, I promise.."

I smiled and nuzzled into the crook of his neck. He continued to whisper soothing words into my ear until the thunderstorm had calmed down. It eventually did and when that happened, i fell into a deep sleep, Camilo whispered a last "I love you" which made me smile.
Camilo stayed awake until he was sure you were in a deep sleep. He didn't want you being scared while he was asleep so he couldn't comfort you. Knowing you were okay and cuddled into his arms made him feel much better so then, he fell asleep too.

The London Phantom: A Superhero Webnovel
London is an old city. It has survived floods, fires, plagues and the man-made smog of industry. It has stood firm against the armies of Vikings, Saxons, Normans and the aerial might of the Luftwaffe. It has borne witness to dynsatic feuds, civil wars, military occupation and the sin of regicide. Through all these disasters the city has survived not through force of arms, though its walls were once the envy of the world, but through adapting to the times. Enemies become dependant on the city, and the wealth of the world that flows through it, and so become new allies. If the rulers change, then the city welcomes them with open arms, and open lines of credit. In this way the city seeks to preserve its ancient rights and position of power. Superheroes are a new phenomenon. The first superpowered man walked out of the Nevada desert in 1950, and the world was forever changed. Across the planet, men and women with exceptional abilities made themselves known. At first, they were little more than another source of fear in the era of Mutually Assured Destruction, but over time attitudes changed and the concept of the Superhero was created in the city of Los Angeles. From there the phenomenon spread across the globe; superheroes went from being feared arms of the state to a symbol of hope in these maddening times. Times have changed. Sixty years from the emergence of the first superhero, the City of London stands on a precipice. Two years have passed since the madman Fawkes nearly brought down the United Kingdom and the remnants of the Bow Street Runners, London's premier superhero team, are struggling to keep order in a city that seems on the brink of collapse. London stands on a knife's edge, with criminal organisations that once stuck to the shadows becoming more bold, and ancient powers from myth and legend making themselves known. Alexander Laszewski has recently 'awakened' and has become entirely unremakable, effectively making himself invisible to the world. He must use his newfound power to navigate a city on the edge of collapse. If only he could figure out how to turn it off.

My Poetry
So I think some of you know that I already write poetry. Most of my poetry is free verse. I thought why not go ahead and just make a poetry book in here. Some of this is poetry I've already written, others are brand new. God I'm really nervous about this, I don't usually share my poetry.
