I hadn't seen Camilo all day, which is weird because he's usually clinging onto my arm or if he's not, he occasionally checks up on me. I saw Mirabel about the town, maybe i should ask her?

That's exactly what i did.

I walked over to see her knitting some clothes for Celia, a young girl in our town. "Oh hey Y/n!" Mirabel greeted, pushing up her glasses. "Hey Mira...have you seen Camilo today? I'm worried about him" i asked and she thought for a second. "Well, i have seen him but..when i do see him, he's always a different person, mostly you" she replied.

I sighed and looked around nervously. "If you wanna see him, i last saw him in his room. Wanna go check?" She asked, placing her hand on my shoulder. I looked at her and she smiled sympathetically as i nodded. "I'll go check on him, thank you Mira!" "Anytime Y/n/n!" She smiled before going back to her knitting.

I rushed to the Madrigal house. Everyone loved me there and they were used to me randomly barging in. As soon as i got there, Isabella greeted me so did Luisa, everyone else seemed to be out. I greeted them back before heading to Camilo's room before knocking on the door. "Camilo, it's me" i said.

He opened the door with a cheeky smile...but he was...me. I raised and brow and crossed my arms. "Camilo, shift into yourself" i demanded and he taps his fingers together nervously. "No.." he mumbled. "Camilo" I warned but he didn't answer.

I rolled my eyes and groaned before grabbing onto his ear and pulling him inside his room. "ow, ow, ow, Y/n!" He whined and i shut the door before making my way to his bed as he grumbles in pain. "Sit Camilo" i say as i let go of his ear. He rubs it while wincing and sits on the bed.

"Camilo. Shapeshift back to normal please." I said but more softer this time. He sighs and looks down before shifting back into himself, his curly hair in the way of his face. "Look at me.." I whispered and he did. Tears were already in his eyes and he had a black eye and a cut on his bottom lip.

"Oh dios mio" I whispered, cupping his cheek. At first, he flinched but soon relaxed into my touch and started crying. "You're okay, mi dulce niño, you're okay" I murmured as i pulled him into my arms. "Why didn't you tell me or go to Julieta, Cami?" I asked gently and he sniffled. "I-i didn't wanna bother any of you.." he cried. I shook my head.

"Cami, you'd never bother us..now come on, lets get these healed, okay?" I said, gently grazing the purple bruise on his eye with my thumb. He winced but nonetheless, leaned into my touch. He circled his hands around mine and we both stood up, going to the kitchen to make sure he's healed.
