I hated Camilo, we've always hated each other. We argued all the time and insulted each other every day. I hate him because he's so full of himself and thinks his power is 'the best' when it's not, quite frankly, his power is the most boring one!
I stayed at the Madrigals for awhile while my parents were away and things started well, i hardly ever saw Camilo but when i did, we argued anyway. But soon, something weird started happening, whenever I saw Camilo, he looked at me then walked away.
Which i was relieved about but also kinda confused, I wondered if he was okay but the next day, my worry for him washed away as i found a bouquet of red roses by my door. I raised a brow and looked around before shrugging and picking them up.
This about a few others nights after that but the colour of the roses always changed! I got pink ones, yellow ones, white ones, blue ones and green ones. As much as i loved all the flowers, i really wanted to know who was giving me these!
-
"Its so weird, they keep appearing at my door every morning, i just wanna know whos giving them to me" i complained as i walked with Mirabel and Dolores, holding my brand new bouquet of purple flowers close to my chest, we soon stopped at the stairs.
"It is kinda weird that this is happening..i mean- why would someone give you flowers every day?!" Mirabel asked and Dolores nodded while i was in deep thought, determined to find out who this mystery flower person was.
"Plus, its gotta be someone in the Casa Madrigal, since nobody else can get in..especially at night" She explained and i sighed. "I just...don't know who it could be" i slowly turned my head only to see Camilo leaning on a pillar with a smirk.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes at him, seeing a flash of hurt but i didn't care to take any notice so i just started walking with Dolores and Mirabel again.

I was certain it was Camilo giving Y/n the flowers and i know that deep down inside, he loves her and absolutely hates arguing with her. Sometimes when i get snacks at night, i can hear Camilo and Isabela talking but i didn't really care so i went back to my soundproof room.
But those talks between Camilo and Isabela wasn't a one time thing, every night when i get a snack, i hear them talking about flowers and thats when I figured out that ISABELA makes flowers for CAMILO to give too Y/N. Which i find very cute! So i decided to confront Camilo about it and tease him.
I knocked on his door and he answered but he didn't reveal the inside of it, he stood close by the door, so only his head popped out. "Oh hey Dolores~" he laughed nervously making me giggle at his state. "I know your secret" was all i said before i shoved the door open. In his chameleon closet, bouquets laid there, surrounding it. All different colours.
I squeaked and pointed at him. "I KNEW IT!" I yelled before running off to Isabela's room. "DONT SAY ANYTHING TO HER DOLORES!" I heard Camilo yell after me before Y/n walked over to him, crossing her arms. "Say what to who?" She demanded and i snickered before rushing into Isabela's room. I could still hear their argument. "None of your business Y/n, you don't have to shove your nose into everything"
"I don't have to but i want to" "Well can you like- not? Its so annoying!" "I do what i want Camilo- now tell me!" "NO" "YES" "NO!" It kept going on for awhile until they continued yelling. I found Isabela up on her bed, fast asleep. I sighed and yelled "ISABELA!" Which made her shoot up from her spot.

"What Dolores? Are you okay?" She asked softly and came down from her bed, walking towards me. "Why did you help Camilo..you know- with the flowers?" I asked and she smiled. "Y/n and Camilo need to get along..and i know how much Camilo cares for her- he just struggled to show it..so I helped him the best i could" she replied.
I smirked. "Soo~ should we yknow..get them together?" I asked and she smirked and crossed her arms. "Is that even a question?" Isabela answered.
-
I was still arguing with Camilo- for god knows what reason anymore. I feel bad for even starting it in the first place but you know, it's happening now. Our argument was rudely interrupted by Dolores and Isabela. "Camilo, would you like these flowers for that special girl tonight?" Isabela teased, handing -a now red faced Camilo- some gold flowers.
I stared at Camilo in shock. "YOU GAVE ME ALL THOSE FLOWERS?!" I yelled in surprise, i was also kinda flustered which was weird...
"N-no!" He replied and threw the flowers on the floor before glaring at his sister and cousin then leaving. My eyes followed after him and i looked back at the girls who looked kinda guilty. "Maybe we should've waited for him to tell you himself.." Dolores whispered softly, Isabela nodded and looked at me with her beautiful brown doe eyes.
"Don't worry you two, i'll talk to him okay?" They nodded with a small smile and i headed to Camilo's room. I knocked on the door and heard him say come in, so i walked in. He took one glance at me and immediately glared. "If you've come in here to yell at me, get it over with" he snapped, i was taken back a little but i knew i deserved that.
"I've actually come in here to apologise for..arguing with you all the time and also to ask about the flowers" I replied and the colour of his walls changed to blue, meaning he was upset. "I gave you those flowers to show how much i care about you..I thought it was better off without you knowing it was me because i was scared you'd yell at me for 'trying too hard' to get with you" he responded.
I stood there listening, guilt hit me like a ton of bricks. "But i also gave you the flowers to apologise for every fight we had or any insult we threw at each other that day..." his voice cracked and he hid his face in his arms and brought his legs up to his chest.
"Camilo...you shouldn't be apologising" i whispered and sat down next to him, he moved away slightly.
"I felt the need too..you made it seem like i was annoying you so much that-..." he stopped and sniffled. "What?" I asked, placing a hand on his, he didn't bother moving it away. "That i didn't think i'd ever have a chance with you" he looked me in the eyes and I couldn't help but smile softly. I cupped his cheek and he instantly leaned into my touch.
"Camilo..I dont even know why i was so horrible to you, maybe it was out of jealousy..but its no excuse because i'm so sorry, Camilo Madrigal. And i love you, you shouldn't be the one apologising, got that?" I explained sternly and he smiled through tears. He leaned into my chest and i held him, rocking him gently. "Oh and by the way, i adore the flowers, mi rayito de sol" I whispered and he blushed.
