I've had a terrible crush on Y/n for years now. She was Kates sister, younger by a year. She was different though and..i like it. She wasn't as preppy as Kate and she never wanted to look perfect, she had a look that showed she didn't care, yet i loved it so much!

My sister Deena wonders why i like her- but its a pretty easy answer. She's gorgeous, sweet once you get to know her and incredibly funny. But what made me fall in love with her...was her beautiful smile. Whenever she looked at me, she smiled which made me get all flustered.

Y/n and I would talk sometimes and just by those times, I could tell she had a soft spot for me. She would always get mad at Simon, Kate, Deena or Sam...but never me? It confused me yet i loved it.

I was suddenly snapped out my thoughts when i felt someone tap my shoulder, i jumped and spun around meeting with the most amazing smile ever. "Hey Josh!" Y/n greeted enthusiastically, her tone was gentle and happy. I gave a shy smile and nodded a little "H-hey Y/n, whats up?" Damn- why did i stutter?!!?!

I heard her chuckle a little before she opened her locker. "Nothing much, i was gonna ask you this yesterday but i was too nervous..do you wanna hang out later? We could go to the movies or something, only if you want too" after she finished explaining, I couldn't hold back the smile that grew on my face. She must of notice because she laughed a little. "Yeah, definitely! When?"

"Maybe tonight, or whenever you're free" i grinned and leant on my locker. "Tonight sounds great" Y/n smiled wider than me and suddenly hugged me. I was surprised but hugged back straight away. "See you tonight at 6 Josh!" Was all she said before placing a quick kiss on my cheek and walking off.

My eyes followed her until a certain girl walked in front of me. "Umm..can you maybe- stop staring at my sister?" I rolled my eyes when i saw Kate. "No- and also, i have a date with her tonight" she raised her brow before getting out her phone and calling someone "Deena, you owe me £15" i stood there in shock as she walked away, while still talking to her.

At 6, Josh arrived at Y/n and Kates house, he knocked on the door and the Y/H/C haired girl opened it up and smiled. "Hey Josh, come in!" The boy smiled and mumbled a small thanks before stepping inside. "So..what movie are we going to see?" He asked but couldn't help but notice the smirk on Y/n's face.

"Follow me, shy boy!" Was all she said before grabbing his hand carefully and leading him to the living room. It was dark but there were warm candles. Snacks and drinks were on the table along with 3 movies to pick from. Josh smiled and looked at Y/n in shock. "Wow...this is awesome!"

"Thank you, now come on, pick a movie!" She squealed before dragging his wrist. His adorable laugh filled the room which warmed Y/n's heart.

An hour later, Y/n had fallen asleep with her head in Josh's lap, his hand running through her short/medium/long hair. They hardly watched the movie, they just got to know each other. Josh learned that Y/n wasn't the mean or rude girl everyone thought she was, the girl was simply too shy or too awkward so she came across as rude. But shes a sweetheart, exactly like her sister, Kate.

Josh also realised that he was falling more and more in love with this girl every day, nothing could stop that. But he thought maybe Y/n could like him too, he caught her staring at him and smiling often, or biting her lip carefully.

Maybe Y/n Schmidt was in love with Josh Johnson but i guess...only the future will truly know.
