I knew that liking someone the same gender was considered a sin, or as Mad Thomas says, welcoming the devil to our land. This was unfair and horrible due to the fact that Abigail and i were secretly dating. All our friends know, but not any of our family members or neighbours.
I feel like something terrible will happen to either Abigail or me...but if one of us has to be burned or hanged, I'm taking the blame. Because I'm not allowing Abigail to leave me to deal with this horrible world without her presence near me. I loved her, no matter if we couldn't be together.
